He is clearly strung out but puts on a performance of a lifetime!
I was a soldier at this time. I built another base camp in 2005. 1 year ago it's my first vacation and I found 2 new bands. First VR and the next was Injected. Both bands give me another new musics. Thank you all. R.I.P Scott and Jade.
Happy birthday Scott!!! Your voice and music meant a lot to me! Cheers!
Rips Scott. Thank you for all the music
esse cara... nunca consegui superar a perda dele na música, um dos melhores vocalistas que eu acompanhei na minha vida... 😔😔
RIP SCOTT!! Much love 💋💕💙LOVE YOU SLASH & DUFF!!💋💋
Also Dave Kushner is a great guitarist
Scott singing this makes me Fall 2 Pieces... His Anniversary is coming up and I for 1 Miss his talent and presence. Hoping he found some peace in Heaven, after all he is with Chris, Layne n so many more AMAZING Musicians in that Big Band In The Sky....RIP
i'm in recovery for booze and drugs--this is like my anthem for being able to stay clean--i can't do it alone--RIP Scott!
JINGOISTICALLY SPEAKING You're never alone brother. Take care.
Keep it up 👍
9 years under my belt and believe me if I can do it anyone can, your bigger than those demons I promise you 😊
You're not alone
I went cold turkey. I lost my brother and niece at 41 and 35 respectively. You can do this. YOU HAVE TO DO THIS. Good luck. Life is good.
My first concert was WaveFest 2000 saw them, disturbed, fuel, cowboy mouth. 1st and best concert. RIP scott. Thank you for the music!
One of the greatest bands live.
Still thinking of Scott & wishing he could've witnessed how bright his star would've shown SO many years later! ☺
Thanks Scott an Thank you Slash Duff and the others for giving Scott this chance to wonce again get clean and be the Rock star he is. All of you are the top 10 best rock stars that ever have played. Thanks.
Wow, 14 years ago. Time sure flies. Absolute shame Scott's demons won.
JEFF, YOU NAILED IT,,,,,,,, SCOTT ROCKED,, WHAT A SHAME , CARRY ON
Exactly
I remember moving into a small room next to a big Doberman dog at the time of this; but that was “good times” compared to being 50; I really pray that what goes around comes around and the people at the top get the awakening to help those less fortunate through Fairer,Lighter laws and less Dictatorship
Scott was a genius on sounds. It's really unfortunate the demons won. Long Live Weiland
I saw Velvet Revolver that same year! I also caught them live a second time on their Libertad tour in 2007. Scott Weiland was already my favourite singer and frontman from his days in STP and I loved GNR so I remember getting really excited for Velvet Revolver when all the news came out about them forming! Poor Scott was an extremely gifted artist who unfortunately couldn’t shake his demons. I followed his career right to the end. I’ll always miss that guy.
Reminds me of a time where I was deep into addiction of speed drugs and just about to lose my sister to lupus. This is the first time I have heard to song in the past 10 years and didn't break down in tears. I miss her terribly but I don't miss the drugs.
My first introduction to Scott was in the 90s when Stone Temple Pilot's came out on MTV.. Loved him then n loved him here.. WHY do the very talented die Young?? 😢 I'm still very grateful for Slash!!! 🤗❤️✌️
I’ve seen them all this is the best performance of this song. Scott gave 100 percent on this
Great performance by all! But damn Scott's vibrato mixed with bravado just absolutely kills!
my God how much more powerful could a ballad be? we miss you Scott!
Scott, you were and are the best! Like the most special light it is only gone too soon
