Very polished performance. There’s a few moments when Scott’s voice really starts to get going and push into ‘fuck yeah’ territory like his glory days right after the solo. What a talent he was
Why did mainstream rock radio stop playing Velvet Revolver? I'd much rather hear this and some of their other tunes than "Welcome to the Jungle" for the zillionth time.
Scott Weiland was a real Rockstar... he was a great artist!
That fella playing guitar for Scott isn’t bad he could go places
For be honest, this is the first time I see an acoustic performance of "Slither"
There's another version (I prefer that version) It was on the internet many many years ago in a bootleg and there was a demo (electric) version and some rarities but now it seems to be hard to find. I guess in a day of reseach you could find it
think the same
hah me and my ex-band played an acoustic version of it at a show like 4-5 months ago
“Same”
Ellos tienen varias versiones de slither acústico..
Scott sounded great! Miss that voice
Same
Same
Me too
Me too,, awesome
Wowwwww. Scott Weiland.. such control and skill. What a voice. What a talent. I wish musicians today were as much of a gift to the world.
I miss velvet revolver
Every time I see Scott Weiland, it’s so sad n tragic.. just knowing, u will never hear he’s truly unique, amazing voice make great music, again.. I love STP, but he was great w/ Velvet Revolver also.. A true legend, that hopefully will go down as one of the best vocalist of all time!😘R.I.P Scott Richard Weiland🙏🏼💕
Everyone knows drugs aren’t good for you and neither is alcohol but people do them anyway
One of the greatest rock frontmen to ever grace the stage, and an amazing lyricist as well. A lot of people don't realize he wrote nearly ALL the lyrics for STP and Velvet Revolver. He poured his heart and soul into so many of those songs. It's truly heartbreaking he could never really find peace in his life. And he did really try. Many times. I really miss that man too. 💔
Last true rock and roll band that took the world by surprise.
Analia Guerreiro Audioslave enters the chat...
I’d say QOTSA and Highly Suspect have earned a good piece of that cake.
RIP Scott, your voice will live on, it was epic.
This NEVER gets old!!! Amazing performance!!! RIP Scott...... Truly one of the GOAT's
thank you! I have the inteview but have never seen the performance.
Love your channel!
Its you!!!!
Would you have the link for the interview ?
Can u give us the link please
Definitely they were a super band. Scott sounded awesome like always. 🤘🎸🥁👍
His voice was so unique!
He's had a few great performances on the Howard stern show
That bass tone sounds so sexy
That acoustic solo is very underrated
Such a versatile voice
RIP Scott...You were and was truly one of the best!!! STP still is my all time fav band
When Scott's vocals kicked in- wow. Such a strong voice then. I'm sorry I didn't pay attention to VR at the time.
Duff’s use of a delay pedal and a pick gives him the best rocknroll/punk sound ever.
Scott was our modern day Jim Morrison no doubt!
This really is an hidden gem.
Omg. What a great band they were. Miss you Scott.
That voice !
I just love Duff!
He looks like he's still on the Use Your Illusion tour.
Rest in peace best front man ever!!!!
Goosebumps! RIP Scott
love that voice..RIP Scott xx
Awesome 🤘
Duff, Slash and Matt were a powerhouse together! Wish we could have them together in GnR again
The best rock song of the 2000s
Excellent! I miss Scott so much. What a talent he was. Thankful for what he left us in his too short life. Really live the play between Slash, Duff, and Dave here.
Scott Weiland was THE MAN! Just freestyles the harmonies to better fit the acoustic groove - amazing!
What beautiful version .. RIP Scott 🖤
Great version 👍
This sounds really nice.
The accoustic version of slither is a banger😀
The most underrated band on rock history
Underrated? They won Grammys and sold millions of albums.
Damn love em, but..
most underrated? rly?
you can hardly say they were underrated for the success they achieved in a short space of time
underwearrated
Well they formed out of Guns N Roses and Stone Temple Pilots, two of the biggest bands of their respective eras
3:55 this is power! Well done!
brilliant vocal
Love Scott ❤️ He finally found peace 😭🙏🏻
Amazing sound of all the instruments
The lead guitarist is so good, he will become popular one day
I remember really liking this song at the time!
Even with acoustic, it sounds awesome.
Acoustic ALWAYS sounds awesome
Slash doing a solo to this song on acoustic killed it. Don't know why i was surprised.
Scott in the 10 front men of all time just a bad ass! RIP yur troubles are over
RIP Scott. So much potential sadly extinguished by ......... life.
F*ckin love it!!! Fantastic version!!!🤘🏻🤘🏻
Scott..Miss you
Talent
Que buena versión.
Scott uno de los más grandes sin duda.
Man, he looked so sick (insanely thin).
( heroin ) shhh
I was going to say the exact same thing!... He looked in pain...
I remember seeing the video for Slither for the first time and thinking "I don't think Scott will be with us much longer". Even though it would be another 11 years, still gone too soon. R.I.P.
Yeah
He looks cool to me
He was brilliant
have never heard it before! great
@JJ Scott oh I know the electric one hahaha, have all the STP and Velvet records
Check out fall to pieces by them. It was the second single off the album. In my opinion the best song they did
Amazing version!!! Miss these guys... especially Scott vocals =(
Scott is a huge loss, for all of us! Sometimes I still can't believe he's gone! What a talented and tormented mind!
This was already a far different Scott than the one we had met in the early 90s. He's inner turmoils were eating him up gradually. It's very tragic. He was amazing!
The vibe here is similar to the original demo which Scott sang with less of a rock snarl and more of a boozy Jim Morrison croon.
That's a lot of talent on one stage
Awsome Scott Viva forever
Best voice Scott , from Indramayu Indonesia
One of the best live gigs I ever saw was Velvet revolver in wolverhampton. Not a massive venue but such an epic performance. Scott could really sing. Sadly missed. Matt too, such a great drummer, shit on by Axl because Matt called him a Dick.
Dude lived the real rock ‘n’ roll life
Wtf, Slither in acoustic, awesome
I hope they upload "Fall to Pieces", if they did it, which I figure they would've since it was their biggest hit at the time.
Rob's Relics I remember Slither being more popular
Pretty sure this was the only song they did. Fall to pieces was the second single. Slither was the first.
Was it out yet?
I'm it sure, Fall to Pieces came out a while after this one did and this was before it came out. If you look at both Slash and Duff, they're very intent on their instruments, as though they hadn't played the song a lot of times. Even to where Duff wasn't doing the "Yea!"
Don't get me wrong, though, they did the song great and who knows, maybe they did do Fall to Pieces, I'd like to see that as well. Haha, guessing an acoustic version of Lovin' the Alien from this would be way too much to ask, though.
This is just prior to the album coming out, so... nothing was their biggest hit yet
Those definitely were better times‼️🎸🕺🥃🥃
Cheers mate!
I've seen every acoustic performance of Slash. How did I miss this is mind boggling!
I like this version
Cool to see this
Proper bass line in this.
Cómo se te extraña Weiland!!!!!! La concha de la loraaaa!!!!! Qué triste tu partida ...pasan los años y seguirán pasando y escucharte es magia
What a loss that Weiland voice. One of the best of modern times!
Thank you Howard
Rip Scott he fit that band perfect
I've always loved that bit at 3:55.
R.i.p. Scott weiland 😭😭😭
Best song on the album.
Beautiful
Duff's base line though.
Howie and slash could be related lmao
His live performance was amazing. Saw him back in the 90 with the pilots. Loved it! All the good ones are gone. Soundgarden Alice in chains Nirvana ...
I'm here just to see Slash solo on a 12 string acoustic
Ain’t easy to solo on a 12 lol
GOLD.
Please share full show
Scott sounds sooo fn good
Look at how thin he was, poor bastard. Addiction SUX.
TOO MANY FRIENDS LOST.💔
Immense moment.
Awesome
Hi from Peru
So good

Smooth as silk
Slash is the man! That solo Ripped!
This so freaking cool
Lo estoy escuchando 23 de junio del 2020 en plena cuarentena?
Saludos desde Lima Perú? 🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪
God damm scott had a fuckin great voice!
I whish I have a band like this man... what a dream
Although I really like VR, I hate this era for my poor Scott. He looks so ill, sad, depressed. His drug addiction was finally taking over during these years. His voice sounds so flawless, though. Always in my heart ❤
