G'day EZGZ, I've been watching your videos and using them for research for years now and in my opinion there's not many people on UA-cam that can match your Volkswagen knowledge. Anyway I received a delivery from Gene Berg today and now I'm the proud owner of a Gene Berg dual linkage set up. ✌️Peace from Melbourne Australia
Your going to love it if you set it up per the instructions. It looks a bit home made but everything fits and works. I add a washer to my coil mount bolt and use longer bolts instead if factory screws.
Great video sir! How do you compare this linkage with the hex bar from CB Performance? I love Gene Berg stuff and was thinking about swapping the linkage on my Dellorto 40’s. Do you think their linkage would work with the Dells with CB Performance manifolds?
In your haste to get through the video, you never actually showed what to do with the crescent wrench on the linkage arms. For as old as it is, the GB linkage is new to a lot of us folks and no one talks about how to adjust it. What would you have actually done with the wrench to correct the fact that one carb was leading the other?
you just bend that flat arm to the inside or the outside a hair until you have both carbs lift off the idle stops at the same time. If you ever get one of these set ups it will become clear. I'm not using these at the moment but if I put them back on something I will post a new video. Thanks for watching and commenting. Good Luck with your VW adventures

I understand that the factory oil sending unit thread is 10mm x 1.0

Gene Berg linkage might not look sexy but it works better,longer..... than any other out ther., Just sayin..... I have both
@@TheEZGZ I know because I have a few Gene Berg products myself. You only have to buy them once.

I rekin a video on installing and adjusting the Gene Berg linkage would be great. Because as said above these linkages are new to alot of us. ✌️
Those are Weber DCNF
True but Berg made changes to work with others
