I see you use a Blackstar amp - have you tried out any of their pedals? I have been using the Blackstar HT-Dual pedal for about ten years now and it's the best distortion pedal I've ever used.
I have a big 50 watt tube amp, but I love that little Blackstar. It's my go to for everything pretty much. I like all the built in effects.

I think you put the slide in the wrong place. He slides into the A. Not the C# (from the B). He does it that way when it moves to the next phrase in G as well. It changes to the other way when he moves to the phrase in E (because of the nut).
