    ABOUT AYLA TESLER-MABE
Ayla has been making waves in the world of guitar playing as a professional guitarist, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and composer, since the early age of 14. After only been playing for two years, her first UA-cam video (a rendition of John Mayall’s “Hideaway”) put her on the map and kickstarted her music career. She has since been featured in Rolling Stone magazine, become a member of the Ernie Ball and Fender family of artists, and earned various Berklee College of Music scholarships. Musically, Ayla finds great pleasure in exploring the numerous avenues available to her through various styles of music, as seen through her work with Calpurnia and Ludic.

I saw Jimi in Chicago (The Soft Machine was his opening act). I remember the lights going dim, the hum of the Marshall amplifiers, the curtains raise and he kicked it off with “Are You Experienced?” He sang the first verse, kicked the mic stand (like James Brown) ave as he started to sing again his guitar was behind his back! The group was “tight” and loud is an understatement! Best concert in my life! And the tickets weren’t $3,700 dollars like “ Taylor Swift!” Young Lady “Rock On!”

😎👍👍👍I was 17 for Monterey Pop and attended 2 of the three days. I was just there to hear Jimi live. None of the other bands interested me. I worked in record store and heard, Are You Experienced the first day it was released in Feb. 67'. I knew from the second note when I first heard it, in the store that day, that this was something never heard before. Many people had never heard about Jimi when he walked on stage. I was in the very back of the crowd, when he first started, people in the rear were shocked from the volume! There were a growing number of hicks that started Boooing!!! He heard this and looked long at the back of the arena said something to the band. Then he started, "Like A Rolling Stone. The crowd were hushed! Like a Gasp! In that instant every heart in the Arena turned to instant LOVE with Jimi! I was there this is a fact! Not one other person has ever told this story. I could already play at least 4 of his songs.

You can see how much Hendrix meant to the world when you see my biography. I was born in 1965 and when i was 18 i grew up with NWOBHM. New wave of British heavy metal. Saxon. Iron Maiden. Motörhead ec. Then in an interview in radio my heros said that their inspiration was Jimmy. That's why they started playing the giutar. I didn't knew Hendrix at this time but when they always mentioned his name i was curious about him. So i get to hear " Hey Joe " for the first time. Now i am 58 and i hear really all type of music but my most loved is still RR. Now i know what Jimmy meant to my music and it's a tragedy that he died with 27.

One of my life's biggest regrets was some how my ex-wife got my copy of a Jimi Hendrix's lesson book that he wrote. I purchased it while he was still alive... That book was the basis of almost all of my lead patterns since I read it. I have to say I fooled a lot of people by just using his lessons on almost every genre I played and in a pinch I could just jump in and play lead to almost anything. (They never knew that it was Jimi's teraching that powered my leads, even in Gospel music.) As usual, you have another wonderful video!

I saw Hendrix in Marysville, Wa. Gold creek rock festival 1969?. Something called Orange Sunshine clouds my memory but way cool. Alice Cooper was jaw dropping out there too.

Oh man! These really bring it all back! Great playing Alyla: and it is soooo refreshing that a young musician is into JH. When his stuff came out I was on a government sponsored all expense paid vacation to the Orient.

I have to tip my hat to you. You made Jimi SMILE. You have all his riffs down.
I saw him on May 30, 1970 at The Berkeley Community Center.
    He IS, THE MASTER.
Thank you for doing him justice.
I'd see you performan should you go on tour.
    You got his vibes.
Keep it up. Look forward to more of your knowledge.

Just stumbled on to your site today. I had seen the title of this video before, but thought that you would just be playing the beyond iconic riffs and had no idea that it would be a tutorial. You have an infectious smile, which made it difficult for me to pay attention to the lessons! I see that you have over a million subscribers. Please add me to the list. Thank you.

Always see teachers get in and explain using scale names and such and often wonder if the original artist was even thinking of scales. Always feel they just played what sounded good to them. Especially hendrix

i've been a hendrix fan longer than you've been on the earth, and i've got to hand it to you - the choices you made were excellent. your rendition of "may this be love" in an earlier video is what got my attention, but since then, produced alot of great content. please do more hendrix. you seem to have an understanding of him that not many people do.

One thing you could do for a lesson is using a pitch changing program if you haven’t already done so lol
Great honest enthusiasm for the artist and the instrument.

I'm blown away you started and finished with my favorite Hendrix Song, I Don't Live Today. I had somehow missed this song until after Y2K, despite being a Seattle kid from the 70's who has always put Hendrix above any list of favorite musicians, or even other artists or performers for that matter. Watching his performance of this song from Royal Albert Hall is the closest thing to church I experience in life. Sadly, it rarely avoids copyright blocks on UA-cam for very long. Watch that whole concert if you ever get a chance. Anyway, just found you today, cool channel. Rock on. 🎶
