Perhaps NASCAR or IMSA as well. This could be a really good series looking at the different tools that race teams use.
@7:18 series adds the current, so it would be a 12v system with many many amps. My guess based on my thoughts and literally 0 information is that they would wire it up in parallel to avoid feeding too much current to the starter, which would put too much force thru the engine while starting. So I think he meant to say "in parallel" and not in series.
Fun thing about the fuel is that depending on temperature it could also fill quicker as fuel density changes with temperature. Warmer it is the heavier it is the colder then its lighter. So if it's warmer the fuel expands and is heavier raising the pressure inside that fuel tank. Then vents for a siphoned effect. So the fuel in the morning will be lighter as it warms up creates the pressure as it expands Fuel density is considered on every single aircraft fuels up for a trip . It is surprising to know what really goes on behind the scenes
💯💯💯Dope badass I've always wondered what kinda custom one off the they use on Indy and F1, especially the impact guns, I've always been curious about what kind of sockets and fasteners they use... 20 point sockets? 450psi? Holy crap boys! And the fueling system is crazy too! Thanks for another badass informative video Donut! Y'all kick ass!
It's more about fire safety and efficiency than it is about emissions. Fire safety crews have a much harder time fighting methanol fires because its so difficult to see the fire and they needed special procedures like dry chemical extinguishers or foams. E85 can actually been seen once ignited during daylight and typically can be put out with water much easier than methanol. E85 also has the advantage of requiring less fuel volume to accomplish the same output on the track as methanol, leading to engineering smaller tanks needed in the car and less fuel stops during the race.

@@casey_shame How I forgot that, zip ties solve everything!
Love to see the inside look at Indycar race team tools! You should contact F1 for when they come in town any one of the three times this year and maybe get a team to let you see some of their stuff.
Series indeed does add the voltage, parallel is same voltage adding the current capacity.
ok guys, I didnt skip the hello fresh ad today, this one was hilarious XD
The difference between old Donut and new Donut is tangible.
Bart?!
and?
Fun thing about the fuel is that depending on temperature it could also fill quicker as fuel density changes with temperature. Warmer it is the heavier it is the colder then its lighter. So if it's warmer the fuel expands and is heavier raising the pressure inside that fuel tank. Then vents for a siphoned effect.
So the fuel in the morning will be lighter as it warms up creates the pressure as it expands
Fuel density is considered on every single aircraft fuels up for a trip .
It is surprising to know what really goes on behind the scenes
Always a pleasure to watch some good content by Donut, keep it up guys
That ad was fire
donut really turned into buzzfeed but for cars
The ads that Donut writes >>> the ads the sponsor writes
This was such a cool video, awesome that a proper race team let you so close to the action and all the equipment!!!
To quote the "Corrupt lawyer" from Jurassic Park,
" Is it heavy?"
"Yes?.."
"Then they're expensive, put it down"
Just wanted to stop by and say that I absolutely love your videos! They are very inspiring and informative. Keep up the amazing quality guys!! 😁
Loving the professional racing content and Jeremiah is perfect for it. Thanks guys!!!
2:37 tried this method to slice an onion and have been crying since. 10/10
I love how Indy Car has gone “green” by going to E85. Just a few years back they ran pure Methanol. Btw, Methanol burns cleaner then E85. Ha.
Ikr, these tree huggers are really dumb.
@@aSinisterKiid methanol only need water. But you are right about color and energy density
Y'all the cookin' in the garage ad god me weak lmfaooo
Great video. Felt like watching B2B again
I still use my IR Thunder Gun. Love that thing. It's close to 10 years old.
Donut media it’s never a disappointment content on UA-cam
Whole entire Subaru ordeal is a disappointment
@@jh.f30 well they were Subarus, what'd u expect?
You should try to do a video like this on F1 when the season starts
Comments on Donut videos are so annoying. We all love the old Up To Speed, Wheel House, B2B, etc. videos. But you can't just make endless videos like that. I love that Donut has branched out. A lot of those old series' took lots of time, money, research to make, and doing sponsored videos, TikTok hack videos, etc. helps them create the old series' we love. Just enjoy the fact that Donut is pushing out so much amazing content.
Jobe did such a good job with the promo in this video, had me rolling 🤣
Meanwhile I'm over here needing to save up for a shallow mount jack because I slammed my car without realizing I wouldn't be able to use a regular jack on it anymore
You sound like a real bright bulb
@@Complete.cyclepath absolutely
Somebody PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a clip from the sound Jeremiah makes at 6:05 and lay it over a TIE fighter flyby.....PLEASE THE INTERNET NEEDS THIS. p.s. love the content gents, Donut Media forever.
IndyCar teams: "It's way too heavy to have a starter on the car!"
Also IndyCar: "Let's install a 150 pound quick car lift/jack system built into the car! Then lets hire drivers that are 6'2" and 200 pounds lmao! Definitely engineers are running things there lol.
"It's called a 'kit-chen'" made me laugh out loud. Like, actually. That's funny shit
Great content , also do some episodes of up to speed🔥
Indycar... LETS GOOOOOOO!
Need more up to speed
Okay that hello fresh ad was great! I love the bread slicing with a window.
Honestly makes my day when i see your guys team uploaded a new vid :)
Amazing work
Was the screaming sound effect when Jerry was talking about how back in the day leaked gas could cause fires from the army man game when you flamethrowered someone?? If so, great job. Chefs kiss
Donut media is single-handedly keeping car culture alive and rejuvenating it for the current generation. You guys are as important as the original Fast and the Furious film was for car culture
Not really. They are really good tho
Single handedly??
Oh man, don't say that. F&F is a plague on automotive culture.
I really wish they would do a vid on midget and sprint cars. Drifting at 100+ mph, open wheel, more power to weight then an F1 car.
i think alot of these tools are massivly overpriced purposly from the makers....they know how much money nascar has so they say "10k for a impack gun ...ya thats pennys to nascar SELL IT FOR 10k!"
Just like government contracts.
_"We can build this office building for $100,000 and it'll take.... Oh, it's a government job? It'll be $1.5 million and take 3 years."_
That's exactly it. I also wonder how many people voted this down because they have nearly no idea how machining and production work. Not to mention most of these tools can be made for a very tiny fraction of the price.
I think the jack system was severely undervalued. Including the jacks it's surely pushing over $100,000
Reaching in another man’s tool box without permission is worse than trying to kiss his wife .
The way they organized those little 3 drawer tool boxes really amazed me. I’m about to load one of those up to my mobile tool box collection.
I see this slowly turning into the next generations version on Top gear, I think its time to do road trips with random af cars
