The changli is now its own unit of measurement for weight
for those wondering: 1500 Watts or 1.5 kW are around 2 hp. so James would have been the closest if the dyno had worked.
You loose horsepower through the wheels it’s the same as the spark varg it’s an electric dirt bike that has 80hp but did high 60s due to the loss in the wheel

yeah rated hp and hp at the wheels are two different things.
Dyno readings aren't always perfect. Environmental factors matter as well as how the dyno is calculating the power. A well calibrated dyno can properly measure power from the wheels at the date and time the test was done, but that doesn't tell us how much power the engine is actually making nor do we know if it's doing any math to calculate bhp, whp, or hp or compensate for humidity, temp, air pressure.
I'm glad Jeremiah didn't do a big brain competitive move and always answer between the other guys guesses so he could never lose.
Yeah, I thought about half way through the video that there's a definite method to not lose, as long as two guys guessed before you...

The Changli has 1500 watts of power? I hate to break it to you, but each one of my electric scooters motors produce the same amount of watts, all for 1300 USD.
Y’all should do an episode on why different dynos would read different power numbers.

calibration, and different tolerances between models/manufacturers. not much more to it than that. just each brand's secret sauce to give consistent results against itself (with temperature/humidity/baro pressure factoring in too)
aside from engine dynos and hub dynos which would be comparing apples to oranges anyway

This dyno was reading SUPER low. And I mean 20-50HP low. Thats not really acceptable for a dyno, and I highly suggest you guys find one thats properly calibrated. Lol.

I've had Vredestein Quatrac all seasons on my Honda Fit for a couple of years, and I really love them. They're obviously not the best at any one thing, but they do just fine in the summer, and they're fantastic in the winter up here in north Wisconsin. Plus the tread pattern is SICK

As a guy working on fixing electric motors and power tools, 1500w is about the same as a cheap grinder (7" bosch are 220-2500 nowadays)

I actually got new tires for my full sized American truck a couple months back and saw the Vredesteins comparable to better known brands but significantly cheaper for the same tire essentially. Bought them and I have 0 complaints would def buy again.

Got a pair of VREDESTEIN HITRACs put on my Accord awhile back. Much quieter, bit smoother and better traction than the oem Michelin energy savers that came on the car. Only negative is im getting a bit worse gas mileage but that’s to be expected from a non eco focused tire.

I have Vredestein tires on my 2015 Mazda 6 Grand Touring and I LOVE them!!! My parents have them on their vehicles as well.
I have Vredestein tires on all three of my cars (Audi A4 Quattro, Cadillac XTS AWD, Mazda CX-5 AWD) and my wife and I love them. Best tires in the wet I've ever driven, plus they are quiet and ride and handle better than stock.
