    • @quillmaurer6563
      @quillmaurer6563 2 роки тому +91

      Perhaps, feels a bit big for that. I think it would be good for light-duty work, not the high-torque stuff you'd want a good impact for, but as a convenient tool to use instead of a manual socket.
      I have a similar (supposedly) plasma cutter (is blue rather than red, but looks similar and has "CUT 50" written on it) and it does work. Not all that powerful, but that's because if I turn the power up too high it pops the breaker, not it's fault. With a higher-current or 220 outlet it would probably be awesome. Really wish they'd given this stuff more a chance, I feel like they were prejudiced by the price. Maybe they should have tested the stuff before hearing the price, not after. They should change the order of this, instead of look at, guess price, hear price, test, decide to keep or trash, they should look at, test (thoroughly with real expectations), guess price, hear price, decide if is worth that price or not.

We were renovating our house at the time and I felt so grown up to be able to bring my own toolset out to do the little jobs I could help out with. When he knew I was responsible and wasn’t going to lose or break anything, he let me use the good stuff. I love using that Makita DTW251z, a quality tool that works like a charm. And then to have that 10$ thing do just that, yea i'd actually buy it. If something's got big torque, i'll break it loose with the breaker bar, and use that cheap piece of shit to do the rest aside from torquing them down. Of course i'm not gonna expect it to last for years, but i'm sure i'll get at least some of my money worth out of that thing. People buy a lot more useless things for even more expensive than 10$.

It comes from the same exact bottling plants, on the same exact bottling lines, using the exact same water. The line doesn't even stop to change labels. I've bought a few different Tacklife items off of Amazon and have liked them all. Had some over 2 years without a dip in performance. Good product at a very good price.

      i agree. i feel like they were harsh on the jack for no reason. trunk space and weight isn't really an issue if you're driving a normal car, especially for something that size. i actually want one lol

    They left out all of the shipping costs. Shipping is often more than the item itself! Pisses me off how they misrepresent wish as cheap, when it absolutely is not.

      Buying US made products from outside of the US is simply uneconomical -
      with shipping costs far exceeding the cost of the product and often four or
      more times higher.
      The CCP subsidizes shipping out of CHINA and have contracts with a number
      of Airlines - FedEX- DHL and SINGAPORE AIRLINES ---
      Yet not one US president is smart enough or interested enough to promote US made
      products and provide subsidized shipping - instead it spends money on warfare and
      paying for mercenaries and home-grown terrorists to cause trouble in other countries.
      While US jobs are disappearing - minimum wage is much lower than in Australia -
      homelessness is increasing - tax payer funded heath-care is non-existent and the
      health system is pathetic- The US is going down the toilette fast and is managed
      by a bunch of incompetent clowns that have no idea what is happening in the country.
      To earn any money the uniformed dogs rob people by the roadside.
      The US is in desperate need of therapy.

    That $10 tool set is another reason why it's INEXCUSABLE for a household to not have a basic tool kit. I know too many people who call expert help every time a smallest stupid thing comes up that only requires a simple tool and a google search at best to sort out.

    As a handy but non-professional guy the most useful advice I got when it came to tools was: start with the cheap stuff, and when it breaks replace it with something better. I'm not a carpenter or contractor using this gear daily. Every year I might do a handful of jobs that need specialized electric or air tools - unless I'm using them every day, the cheap stuff is still going to last me for years even if they wear out way sooner than the professional grade. Anything I use enough to wear out quickly, I replace it with something mid or upper grade. The things they "trashed" here would still all be worth holding on to if you didn't have anything better, and using until they failed.

    • @shaneh7519
      @shaneh7519 Рік тому

      I partially disagree.
      I guess it all depends on how much you would plan on using it, but even the average homeowner would probably use something enough to make it worthwhile spending a bit more on something that will last all your life, instead of just a few years.
      You don’t even need to get the super expensive shit, but why pay 10 bucks for an impact that might last a few projects when you can pay 80 bucks for something that will actually last.
      Buying something you anticipate will break is stupid and wasteful. In both money and now you’re contributing to more junk being thrown into landfills
