Dr sir, calorie counting okay but can't continued lifetime unless we consider weight gain as hormonal issue. Insulin is the key for the weight gain, simple carbohydrates will have highest insulin spike and protein moderate and fat will have least . If want to sustain weight loss achieved the key is to avoid insulin spike. If we look in this angle weight loss otherwise calorie counting will not all work. In this regard low carb high fat (good fat😀) will work... our carbs should from vegetables which have fiber and fat from ghee, butter, pure coco, coconut, animal fat, avocado ,protein from eggs and meats or nuts.. this should be way forward. If we do calorie counting then we may not suppress the hunger ( main reason is insulin fluctuations) we will 100% fail and back to square only sir
