As someone who was a hardcore D1 fan who dropped D2 after launch and Curse of Osiris (god there were just better games around), who came back with a dedicated fireteam after hearing Final Shape was excellent...I am so lost with what's going on with the story. The Destiny 2: All Cutscenes playlist is doing WONDERS for me to help me out. Thank you so much for documenting all this so many years ago. You're really opening my eyes to what's been happening.
Stasis represented the fallen darkness shard, well get sorrow (hive magic) which is already represented by thorn and necrotic grips, and deep, which is the yellow orange stuff represented by rhulk in vow of the disciple and each one will be a polar opposite of what our light classes represent, fire (solar) and ice (stasis), spark of life (arc) and spread of death (sorrow), cradle of life (void) and cradle of death (the deep)

Beyond Light was a good campaign. I think I enjoyed it more than the witch queen. Witch queen was awesome, dont get me wrong, but it felt a little jarring from time to time. This one was pretty smooth.
Bit of both really. It has attributes of a ghost. But it is not born of light or is a ghost with a shell. Think of it as, the darks take on a ghost. Either that or Elsie built it/ was given it
