Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris All Cutscenes (Season 2)

- Опубліковано 25 лис 2024
- The Lore collection continues with Curse of Osiris in Destiny 2. This expansion followed Osiris and his Ghost Sagira as they travel through the corridors of time looking to save the world from Penoptes. This was also the first time we got a glimpse of Saint-14 in Destiny 2. This was also an introduction to our first Raid Lair on the Leviathan Eater of Worlds. This has you yet again enter the lair of Calus to defeat Argos, Planetary Core who is causing some disruption for the Emperor.

A note on subtitles: This (mostly) has them captured as off except during adventures. Because there's not a specific person talking to you I always turn them off in those segments. In addition, CC is added by UA-cam automatically and community contributions have been turned on. In order to retain the highest quality video possible for future use in other features, I opted for this style of presentation. I hope you can enjoy the video with closed captions if you prefer subtitles on, and if you spot something wrong feel free to help out our viewers and add a quick correction!

As a super lapsed player (Red War) that is playing catch up before beyond light, I appreciate being able to view these cutscenes & weekly seasonal dialog updates that I'd otherwise wouldn't be able to experience. Thanks Destin!
Glad you like it!
I on the other hand am new and missed out on all of these cutscenes, i wish played earlier so i could see it all. Thanks for the putting out what i missed
Doing the same to get ready for Savathûn. Had to stop playing around the time the Iron Lords came out because I couldn't afford the next Xbox. So this is a big help.
Dude all of these werw great ive been playing since d1 im a vet and a d2 vets playing since beta curse of osris wasnt all that great in fact this was one of the worst times im destiny 2 ever like this dlc was trash
Love to hear people coming back to the game after lapsing!
Still can't believe Sagira is dead
And we still don't know if Osiris is in a vegetative state or not
@@TheAtomoh Yep one of the laziest writing decisions Bungie has ever done. They could have had the real Osiris being somewhere in the forest that was sealed by Vance, thereby have Savathûn pose as Osiris ffs. Have them do that by a text reveal, rather than just kill off his ghost and have him comatose with no light anymore. Makes no sense that they wrote themselves into a corner.
this aged well
@@abdulazizalmaiman that's what I'm saying
Serious waste of a character
I want to thank whoever put this collection together and the players that did the content. I am a day 1 senior gamer (66) and am overwhelmingly invested in the story and had at the time of the move to Steam had dozens of story play throughs. Since my senility is kicking in being able to see this again is tear jerking. Thank you to all involved.
Witch Queen lore catch up: Roll Call
Ikora opening the gateway is epic. Shes a very powerful guardian, maybe one of the most powerful to exist.
she is top 5 most powerful the ranking goes as 1: us : osiris with light :ikora :cayde :zavala
@@TaintedDexterNo.
1. The Guardian
2. Saint-14
3. Osiris
4. Ikora
5. Shaxx
Eris Morn is currently more powerful than us all, but she’s no longer a guardian, nor will she ever be again.
Thank for putting this all together! I miss the old campaigns and adventures!
I miss this dlc so much, hell I just miss chilling out on mercury. I know most ppl didn’t like the dlc but I loved it
Honestly, that is how I feel about most of the stored content. Perhaps it is nostalgia, but I miss just being able to chill on Titan and seeing the waves of the methane sea.
I didn't get to play those expansions... but man do they look awesome. I guess you only appreciate something once it's gone...
Another like-minded Guardian here. I miss it all. 🐻
miss Mercury, was nice to chill there too
Chilling out on Mercury was cool
"I'd hate to throw you off this wall."
Not like we have done that hundreds of times already lol !🤣
Because rahool is a piece of shit that trolled us for getting our first legendary armor for d1 requires titan or hunter or warlock
Thanks man! You went all out and posted the complete destiny 2 cutscenes, Please do the D1 as well, I haven't played that game but need to know the story...Exo stranger, black gardern, Vault of glass.
Thanks again!
Okay, I’m saying this right now: Light or no Light, never tick off Osiris.
Just started playing again, i played destiny 1 and did everything bar the machine raid.
Played the red war when it came out but then stopped gaming for a couple years.
Coming back to D2 with the final shape as the current season is mind blowing... and lets not even talk about my boi cayde!?
Extremely grateful i can catch up on all the story and audio thats been archived.
Thank you greatly for this!!
How does this not have more likes
23:13 This is what i like about the Cabal
In terms of physicality how tf did they lose against the hive wtf
@@memeprez1281 hive have way more numbers
Bro fr went: i like yo cut g
Because they faced Xivu Arath, the God of War, who's a masterful tactician. She brought along cryptoliths and buried them deep into the heart of the Empire Torobotl and it turned Cabal against Cabal. There's a ritual that requires blood sacrifices that give Xivu the ability to tear open ascendant plane into the physical realm. And Hive poured all over the planet. Truthfully they had no chance.
Also not to mention hive spawn as adults when they're born am I right?
Sagira's voice is so AAAAAGH! it's so good!
Tbh every ghost's voice sounds good, prop to the VA.
Morena Baccarin 😉

Very cool Destin
I hated this expansion when it came out but now, I miss it so much. Osiris and Sagira were such a good team and he was so cool in this storyline, The writers actually treated him with some respect
So nostalgic seeing this again
.....I just realized CoO opened in the Vault of Glass...
the start with the 3 guardians frozen in place?
I still find it baffling that Osiris thought he could just freeze the Vex in the Vault of Glass. Like my man, that's where all the wibbly wobbly timey whimey stuff goes on. You don't just freeze the Vex there... They freeze you!
@@eclipsedigi I'm pretty sure that was the first raid team to enter vog. Kabyr and the others.
When people originally thought Osiris invented Dawnblade
"that was a joke" - Cade would be impressed
Really wish I could have played this, Osiris is my favorite human character and it stings that I wasn't able to meet Sagira before she was killed (I joined during season of the splicer). I know that most people really disliked this expansion, but since I'm here for the lore more than anything else, it would have been fun to play anyways
I hate that they cut out all this old content
Ah good times I done season 1 though 10 or 12 with friends this tears me up what we had till it was gone
It’s good to see that the vex have learned respect
Imo CoO is better than nearly every Season yet released. It wasn't that bad tbh, it had more content than the seasons now.
When doing this with my Hunter I saluted Saint-14.
I just realized, in the intro cinematic, is that the Templar encounter in VoG?
Yes, but it's before Templar. It's the Conflux encounter.
You’re a legend!!
This makes me miss mercury, and I shouldn't 😢
Those white ammo blocks are giving me ptsd...
You can still go to the Earth osiris temple
i forgot that osiris in the comics was exiled because the city was a bunch of idiots thinking it was scrolls of the future and worshipped him because he said science in a "intellectual manner."
Loved this expansion
Holy shit it’s kabr and his fire team in the opening
This exspanion was really lackluster but damn it I still miss the old content. I want to play them all again. I paid for them damnit let me play them. Or give me my money back
This is true
From watching it I like the look of it don't seem thst bad to me.
@@theSixPathsOfTrainsit was mostly a hug lack of content from what I remember. I didn't play all of the content I was mostly there for the story
Could this be what the final shape be?
I'm wondering how you got this footage, that ghost shell is a D2 pre-order isn't it?? O_O
It's been a year since you asked, but that shell was a Beyond Light pre-order perk. Curse of Osiris was vaulted at Beyond Light launch, so they got this footage shortly before Beyond Light launched.
This just shows how bad the story telling was in CoO 💀
I really wish bungie didn’t go in the direction of Marvel comedy. Imagine at 5:00 the ghost didn’t go “the Zavala before Zavala?!” And instead went “Osiris? The warlock the city exiled and labeled a heretic?” And then Ikora could’ve explained a little about Osiris as Osiris was only in the grimoire.
As for the followers of Osiris, it was upsetting to see them just turn to bts fan boys for Osiris. Especially when ikora says “Osiris’ greatest fan” like ugh.
At 7:00 the ghost could’ve responded to Brother Vance’s greeting by saying something like “Brother Vance? You held the Trials of Osiris back before the Red War… what do you know about Osiris and his return?”
tbf they really only started sobering up after forsaken, I think it's only recently that they started to veer away from the cringy shit after the main dispenser of them got killed off (Cayde). Though I think the quip about Vance being Osiris' greatest fan does work here, because the man's a lunatic who turned a guy being just curious and doing science into some sort of god. Osiris doesn't even know he exists and canonically resents the fact that his research was being held as indisputable fact instead of something to be disputed and studied from, so it makes sense that Ikora would be condescending towards a cult...acting like a cult, especially since she knows that Osiris was just a normal human guy like anyone else
the rest is just cringy tho I agree
What do you have against aiming your gun?
🤣🤣
To think it's been Savathun this whole time...
Nah savathun only impersonated him immediately after Sagira died
Savathun impersonated Osiris after uldren became crow
@@CovfefeDotard yeah immediately after Sagira died
Sagira. 😢
still rock sagiras shell
Recluse Mountaintop 🤯😂
Shiiii did anyone check on Brother Vance during Witch Queen
See this was always my prob with people explaining the Ghost thing to me. They say when a ghost dies the guardian does but now we see multiple times that infact a they can lose there ghost and live on they just can't be brought back if they die after that which ya duh. Then the aging thing people say there stuck at there age as the light keeps them in that state yet we see plenty of them growing older, Osiris included. The canon comics showing them at younger ages then they are current time getting grey hair etc
Osiris is ancient. and there may be imperfections with the restoration process too. there area many factors that could cause aging. but all theories. I'm canon, we have yet to see a guardian die from age. so really, immortality could just mean a very extended life time.
also also Osiris wasn't actually Osiris at some point (I don't remember when)
@@subject_changed4690 He wasn't him right before the whole crow thing and ya that was only about a month. But ya I'd just like them to explain it just a tiny bit as they clearly do age in ways
I'm halfway through and the story feels kinda week. There's a grave danger looming and they've got time to hop between planets? Hmm...
i mean story in the latest dlcs are 10X better. this dlc was a huge low point story and game wise
@@eclipsedigi why tho
Hahaha guardians become popsicles inthe future
Someone says it was bad
I say it was something
Something so good that no today's addons can match
I want to go to Mercury so much...
Хочу назад в Бесконечный лес.
The sagira shell deserves to return
Curse of Osiris is the shittiest Destiny dlc, but god damn they nailed the music and the atmosphere. I need more Space Egypt in my destiny 2.
I mean just watching it don't seem that bad to me.
@@theSixPathsOfTrains they didn’t like the contents of the season, story was great imo

Yeah but each yo there own.
Osris.
Here to give a brother a like . It’s ok to complain if needed . May God bless your little newborn . They are so cute . My niece was here yesterday @18 months and can now say words and barely run. She’s infatuated with Elmo and when they say dance dance dance it’s so funny to see . I love children and animals.
RIP Sagira 😔
Osiris is the real gigolo guy from deuce bigalow and also in resident evil . He blew himself up in a gas tanker with a cigarette .fricken guy looks just like me except I m in better shape .
The Mummy
There will always be people who will defend this DLC. I've been playing since D2 launched. And while I do hold some nostalgia for Y1, I refuse to look at this DLC through rose tented glasses. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, the WORST Destiny 2 season. Worse than Season of the Worthy, and Season of the Hunt. The closest Destiny 2 actually came to dying.
Im some how a new player since a couple of months. Would you enlighten me on why people hate this expansion or y1 in general? Thanks
@@999LightBeam666 bandwagon, really. People just didnt like D2 vanilla and had to hate everything Bungie did, even though there were lots of cool things in there. Main issues with Y1 were boring gameplay, bad story, and nothing to grind. Both dlcs released before Forsaken had all those problems.
I’m laughing
props to the devs sh*tting in their own work, gutting it, so to leave a manchild loot box simulator
skill issue
@@xanx3572 I was being petty as an extreem, cuz I really like game and art, but hate the monetization and the grind required ... plus having to download and install GBytes of assets (skins and emotes) that i will never be able to use and afford, only there to make me feel bad.
Skill is non-existant ... big number yes or no ... you have the one legendary that lets you spam one ability/granade or instakill yes or no ...
If loot was nornalized, and players had access to the same stuff then fine, but the grind ruins pvp balance and pve progression.
A fix would be that everything is available with little grind, while the long grind is only for cosmetics, but you need to have balls of steel as a developer to not abuse your costumer's wallet.
Players would pay to speed up the process of getting it.
Like ... 8 euros ... for an emote of you playing the Marimba 0_____0'
Weapons and Inventory management is embarassing as well ... the vault should be accesible everywhere, and weapon "dismantling" should be replaced by duplicate drops unlocking stats to spend and quirks, so we can actually experiment.
@@zarodgaming1844 you can also get those emotes for free

It's insane to me how Bungie won't even make this level of content available in game, vaulting content is one thing, its bullshit learn to compress files, othe MMO's don't bave this problem. But the fact you can't play the expansions in an offline mode or watch the cutscenes in the Timeline section is such terrible storytelling, have fun trying to understand Final Shape when all the story is locked away from you and the only way for you experience it is to watch it on UA-cam because the community cares more about this games story than Bungie do
