Bungie have recorded so many VO variants for a mission intro (around 14:00) and he ACTUALLY recorded all of them and put them all in the video . This is magnificent.

This was the season that brought me back into Destiny. And watching the cutscenes after having played TWQ really makes me wish I could go back and play these again! I love the mystery of it all in not being sure who the real threat here is vs who’s actually trying to help us, the darkness or Savathun.
The editing of this video is simply amazing. I mean honestly, you seem to get why people are watching the video and what it is they are looking for. Whereas on other channels there is too much irrelevant gameplay footage. This video is less than an hour long and it is PERFECT. Thank you
@@thepotatogod_- yeah, me too. I no-lifed the shit out of Destiny 1 and Destiny 2 for a little bit after release. I only got as far as completing the first raid on the leviathan and then I stopped playing because Destiny was becoming a bit too expensive of a hobby to maintain. I stopped playing Destiny, but I never lost my love for the game, and especially the story. To this day I've kept up with all the lore, even if I haven't played the game in forever. Can't wait to see what happens in light fall!
With what we learn about Savathun in Witch Queen. It makes you wonder if her efforts to prevent us from communing with The Witness was to prevent us from making a mistake. A mistake she made so many eons ago.
Well, we DO know the Witness tried to manipulate us to its cause of the Final Shape, but we didn't take the bait even as it used its own hate of Light to make us believe it was weakness. But even for her own mistake, Savathun was more tricked by the Witness due to her arrogance and pride, and she wanted more when wanting to break free of the Sword Logic of the Hive to find power to _surpass_ the Witness.
The fact that he is even *here* instead of in the black hole with the rest of the Awoken means they sided with the faction that believed the creation of the Awoken means they owe a debt to the universe. The ones that believed their debt was paid stayed behind. For more detail, read the Mara Senna lorebook.
I cannot believe I missed this season. Stupid f**** school taking up all my time. I feel so bad. Wish they would release standalone games with three seasons a piece that you could play through just for the story.

All the hardship they have gone through together formed insanely strong bonds between all those ancient members of the Vanguard. Ikora, Cayde, Zavala, Eris, Saint, Shaxx, Osiris, they all have known each other for more than a century now.
The Witness said the Darkness gives... but it takes just as much as it claims the Light does, considering the Darkness has been used not just to save lives by Guardians, but used to decimate entire civilizations and planets by the Witness and its followers, and in Darkness alone, there is only death and destruction because of the Witness's influence, and its fears of "pain" and wanting to "end" it through the Final Shape and absolute finality as Rhulk has said. Light may offer death, but it also offers rebirth and life, second chances. It's about the balance the two need, something the Witness doesn't understand because it's been consumed by its use of the Darkness for centuries and its fear of pain and loss by assuming that's all life has to offer.

Absolutely loved this season as it had eris morn back in the game and involved again and the other seasons that she was in I just loved a lot especially season of the witch. Can only hope she’s involved a hell of a lot in the final shape and hopefully beyond that.
These were season only missions correct so a new/returning player couldn’t play these missions you’d have to have played during this season to do these missions correct
Correct. I hate that it's like this, too, as a lot of players (particularly new) can miss on these, and the game has enough Lore and characters thrown at us as it is, not being able to go back and having to rely on Wikis and UA-cam is a bit annoying if you want to understand the story at least a little...the in-game lore bits are confusing at best.

we cant play this anymore ? new to the game and i am just so heartbroken by how much lore and story i have missed . its like starting a game from its end
@@DestinL auto generated subtitles are kind of garbage. When there's distortion in the voices in the game it makes it really hard for the subtitles to interpret. I even keep subtitles on in-game because sometimes you get extra dialogue that's literally impossible to hear. In your jokers wild video I couldn't understand a lot of the dialogue from the nine and the youtube subtitles didn't even recognize it as words.

Watch when they release the Witch Queen on the new consoles, it’ll have all previously released dlc to get us to upgrade destiny 2 lol clever

The first season I had a lot of fun doing. They did a good job in utilizing some of those planets well before vaulting them.
