Hoping it'll process eventually. During the boss fight versus Phylaks the Warrior, the recording glitched out. And unfortunately with Destiny, you can't redo a campaign mission so you might notice we abruptly jump to the end of the mission without showing us defeating him. But other than that, everything else is good. We hope you enjoy!
Don't know why but my heart skipped a few beats when Zavala showed up, like "Oh shit, he found us, we are in deep shit now" You know that a character has weight in a story when the mere sight of them makes you think "What have I done that I wasn't supposed to" or "Oh no the po-po's here, parties over"
I believe darkness took them, if you notice, these planets are all fairly far from earth, the origin point of the traveler's light burst, and the tangled shore will be removed soon, which is in the asteroid belt, I figure, that by the time of light-filled, the darkness will reach earth, but thats just a theory.. Destiny was made by a different team. Destiny is not Halo. Destiny was made by Bungie with a different team. The Destiny art direction and story is way lower than Halo. Covenant and forerunners are better than the Cabal or Hive. Activision contracted for a Halo game not Destiny which is why Bungie got fired.

Yes, was it not obvious in destiny 1? If you read the cards that they made (because apparently videogames need you to do homework) you can understand it, they made servitors in the machine gods image round like a ball, the servitors gave them power like the traveler did for the guardians.
I played destiny 2 back in the day, had a great time but never played the DLCs. Can someone explain the pyramids to me? I remember the credits scene where the travelers light awoken them. Saw some theories that they were the TRUE darkness and were going to be the main enemy in Destiny 3. Can someone give me a rundown?
So from the way I understand it, the pyramids are the Darkness, or at least some form of it. The final mission from the previous expansion, Shadowkeep, is on the moon where you go inside one of the pyramids and the Darkness corrupts and possesses your ghost, and it starts to tempt you with the Darkness. Then there’s a cutscene at the end of the expansion where you enter a vision where you talk to a dark version of yourself with pyramids in the background, and that dark version of you says that they (the Darkness) are your salvation. I think it’s generally accepted among the Destiny community that the pyramids are the physical manifestation of the Darkness. Then again, I am a casual fan, not some lore master like Byf. I bet there are some videos on Byf’s channel about the pyramids and their connection to the Darkness. Hope this helps.
Why the fuck did my ghost come out when I was frozen? That could've been the end of me if I didn't have plot armor, I literally could've gone out like Cayde.
There is more about them in the lore tabs/recovered books we get. I am hoping as the seasons progress we learn more about them. I know they ran into some issues with being able to schedule the VA for Drifter which lead to some of the funniest improve moments that made it into the game.

It is not so in the real world, and good stories reflect the real world. The Traveler does good, and it grants the Light. The pyramids do evil, and they grant Darkness. Light is good; Dark is evil.
