Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-097 is contained within the limits of the property where it was initially discovered, Zone-SCP-097. The property is surrounded by an 8 metre tall concrete block fence, fitted with ba██ed wire and sec██ity camera systems. Satellite images of Zone-SCP-097 are to be doctored, removing all traces of the area.
Any and all new plant growth outside the containment area suspected to originate from within the SCP is to be sterilized through application of boiling saltwater and/or inciner██ed. Absolutely all abnormal behaviour is to be reported to Doctor Bridge within ten minutes of occurrence. If any personnel or their families experience hallucinations or thematically related dreams outside of containment, they are to contact Doctor Bridge to schedule treatment.

Keenan Fehrenbacher actually Wondertainments products rarely pose a danger to anyone, especially not children. Plus the actual Wondertainment park is completely harmless.
Doctor wondertainment is a simple guy or girl who just wants kids of all ages to have fun and make good memories all items that are dangerous are one offs the were sent to the foundation to mess with them.

I like the fact that the containment instructions specifically says that any children encountered are to be returned to their homes or to the nearest police station.
It’s such a small thing but it’s things like this that makes it clear that the Foundation isn’t a bunch of cackling mad men that gleefully dooms people to absolutely horrifying fates “In the name of science!” but are actually well meaning individuals that do (occasionally horrifying) things for the greater good.
I don't know, the fact that they felt the need to specifically say NOT to kill the kids has some concerning implications.

This SCP in particular feels *_so_** much* like an adult _Goosebumps._ I love it.
Pretty sure the "walking in front of doors" thing is attempt at a late night jumpscare, when Mommy inevitably opens it, and wakes the child, who then screams.
"Staff reported feeling as if being watched during the event" is exactly what people too spooked to have this job would be feeling, when someone is in mortal danger, and they are being all creeped out by sounds and writing these feelings down in a log.
This is a good one. I like that it's the flora that's creepy, and it's a county fair where you would have "biggest pumpkin" competitions and 4H clubs and such. It's a good twist on the played-out "haunted carnival" trope.

I think this is the scariest SCP i have ever heard. Just the entire thing is unnerving. Dead insane zombie kids kill other kids by either strangulation and even worse BODY DISMEMBERMENT. Imagine someone just pulling apart your limbs and body with nothing put hands. This reminds me of a song from Vocaloid called "Circle you" Be warned, that song will keep you up at night.
I love Halloween, autumn, and pumpkin pies/pastries.
If I was assigned to this SCP -097 I'm not sure I'd be able to be near that stuff ever again.

Considering how unpredictable and potentially lethal this thing is, I really think it should be considered for Keter.
Why do people think that classification is by how dangerous an object is?... They make it really obvious that classification is by difficulty of containment... yknow.. the entire point of SCP secure CONTAIN protect.

Euclid/Keter isn't a measure of danger, just how difficult it is to contain. It seems restricted to a specific area and isn't actively trying to break out so Euclid seems reasonable.
I seem to remember someone describing it as a "box test" once.
If you put an SCP and it stays there its safe
If you put it in a box and you're not sure what's gonna happen its Euclid
and if it won't stay in there then its Keter
Euclid
Euclid-class SCPs are anomalies that require more resources to contain completely or where containment isn't always reliable. Usually this is because the SCP is insufficiently understood or inherently unpredictable. Euclid is the Object Class with the greatest scope, and it's usually a safe bet that an SCP will be this class if it doesn't easily fall into any of the other standard Object Classes.
Keter
Keter-class SCPs are anomalies that are exceedingly difficult to contain consistently or reliably, with containment procedures often being extensive and complex. The Foundation often can't contain these SCPs well due to not having a solid understanding of the anomaly, or lacking the technology to properly contain or counter it. A Keter SCP does not mean the SCP is dangerous, just that it is simply very difficult or costly to contain.
I feel it better falls into the Euclid category under the cites definition of these categories
