Tom what happened too how to take the arm pads off the arms
    Themselves?
I only ask as I’ve just got hold of a complete pair of piano interior trims today
and want to take the pads off to get them re trimmed in a completely different colour
For when i get the interior done eventually 😂
    So my next question is
Is there clips underneath the pads that I need to pry up on? To release them
Or do the release from prying from the back? Rather from under the pads themselves?
Any tips would be greatly appreciate before I
    Damage them 😬

I’ve been wondering about plastic welding since my rear bumper is cracked- might give a try to fix.
Also- you are a madman!! 😂 I would never attempt to fix the dash- too scared to do it.
Honestly- i think the dash repair is much more difficult than the cowl repair.
I’m lucky that my dash isn’t cracked but I’m always scared my kids are going to break it 😂 - they like to put their feet in it 😵‍💫
If the dash result isn’t to your liking- you could also cover it with one of those plastic caps or perhaps wrap it with some fabric 🤷🏻‍♂️. Interior stuff is tough because it gets a lot of attention and use. Thanks for sharing

Thank you!! I will post a quick follow up on the dash. I ended up sanding it down and re-clearing it. The texture is much better, but I still have some cracks. The texture cracks, erghhh!!! I put the dash out in the sun to see how it would respond and I noted some cracks. I filled them with super glue and baking soda. I painted and re-cleared the dash. It still looks much better than it originally looked, but the easiest solution is a dash cover. I will say that my dash looks more custom? So that is sort of cool. Yes, that rear parcel needs to be done asap!!! Thanks for watching!!!

Its never a 5 minute job is it mate and think you like me you have high standards and no matter what you do at times you always want it better but i would give your self a pat on the back for getting this far and trying its certainly going to look loads better than it did and dash cover could be option im not massive fan of them unless you use them when not using the car then good idea 👍 i actually got motivation to get oil change done on my e36 today and i know ive got brakes to replace so thought add see iff i can do the stuborn bold holding the rota on but of course it rounded off then to top it off my rear view mirror dropped off after 30 years 🙄🙈🤣
