Its hard to find a multiplayer game on the ps3 in which you can use splitscreen instead of online bullass. Seriously, why did sony/microsoft even bother to allow more than one controller? there are no games that use splitscreen or anything like that! The wii does have that, and i'd rather sit next to my opponent than talking to him/her through a fucking headset.

You can play an entire library of Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance games on your GameCube by using the Game Boy Player accessory. I never owned a Wii, but it sure looks cool because it is backwards compatible with GameCube game discs, GameCube controllers and GameCube memory cards.
I remember that i just bought the gamecube along with the gameboyplayer just to play gb,gbc and gba games on it,it was not untill 5 years later that i bought a few gamecube games for it.
I love Nintendo Wii. It is a pretty fun console & it has great games. At first I was very confused of the Wii Mote + Nunchuck controller & the use of motion to play the games, but after awhile I learned to use it well & enjoy the games. I got my Wii in very cheap price, so it was a good deal to buy it. Only sad thing in Wii is the difficulty of finding good games today. Most of the Nintendo's games are still very expensive & I don't want to spend lot's of money on the game, that I'm not completely sure if it's my kind of game. Also it's pretty rare to find games that are really awesome since they get sold very fast. Nintendo Wii is awesome console & I am happy to have it on my huge game collection. Too bad I bought it pretty late.

I don't know how functional your WiiNES (yes. it would be pronounced 'wee-ness') Advantage control combo would be ultimately. I think more than anything, since the 2 are roughly the same size, it might be better for OCD storage. So... if you like grouping similar sized items together, I have a great combo for you. The Wii/book. The book specifically of course would be the "Necronomicon" Just imagine the hours of fun for the whole family when you combine motion controls AND evil demons and spirits. Grandma would love it!!!

I prefer this 1st model of the Wii shown on here more than the Wii Family Edition and the Wii Mini. For 1 it's got more features than the other 2. And I say that, because it's got both the WiFi receiver and the GameCube compatibility. Where as the Family Edition gets rid of the GameCube compatibility and then the Mini gets rid of the WiFi receiver.

I get more use out of my Wii, now that I hacked it to play old SMS, Sega Genesis, GBA, and Turbographix 16 games. Nintendo is good at selling games to young kids, but not to the younger crowd. That is why the WiiU is failing.
The Wii is a great system, the only bad thing about it is the stupid Sensor Bar that falls down too easily, and though I would've preferred the console to come standard with a Classic Controller Pro and have games designed to that controller, the WiiMote and Nunchuck are okay

For me, the Nintendo Wii is an amazing emulator. I buy old games off of the shop and play them using the classic controller. My other use for the Wii is to play new games that are similar to older titles, such as New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Kirby's Return to Dreamland and Donkey Kong returns. Nintendo Wii, the greatest retro console of all time.
wii console pros: some games are fun to play, huge library of games, nunchuk and remote play is innovative cons: graphics are too ugly to ignore ( some of games could be classic if its visually better) summary: fun factor is there but it is too much for light gamers and not much for serious fun)
when i think of nintendo, i think of how sturdy the new ones are, my ds and wii have both been through a volcano and back, and both work beutifly. i dropped my ds while playing a game from 4 feet on concrete and was able to pick it up and keep playing my same session.

I'm not a fanboy. I bought a Wii when it was new. I'll admit, Wii is a good option when I'm tired of playing modern games, but that shouldn't be the case considering I spent $250 dollars on it!
I still use my wii for playing wii sports/ wii fit. (I love both of the titles) As well as some gamecube games (Still have my gamecube) and lego star wars games. Brilliant console to this day. Oh yeah, and I watch youtube on it, too.

I just got a Wii and for a hardcore gamer the Wii is a great "side kick system" with only a Wii it can get boring but with a xbox/ps3 its a nice change of pace mainly the 1st party games you can get it for under 100 bucks too.

I love my Wii. People call me crazy but I had some of my best gaming experiences on my wii far more than I did with my old ps3. The thing that makes the wii the best console out there is the fact that it's reliable and fun to play. But still I like playing the games and the retro games on the online store my cousin gave me an old system of his and a game from like the 80's called adventure island. I don't play xbox beacuse of the people online too and how you gotta pay but btw xbox doesn't have blu ray,And yes it doesn't matter for individual people but the reason blu ray does matter is for game devolpers beacuse they can add more to the game beacuse blu ray holds more data and if you dont like shooters their are other games that are good Like Forza 4/gran tursimo 5 their both good although forza has better customization their are alot of really good games that aren't shooters i hate cod!
Tbh, while i preferred that nam too, Wii catches much more attention, because it's so happy and retarded :) And everybody is retarded today, i mean look at the Harlem Shake, so everyone wants a 'wii' because it sounds good, and they end of buying nothing but Mario Kart and Wii Sports missing out on all the great titles! Whatever, the Wii is cool no matter what it's called.
For me, the Nintendo Wii is an amazing emulator. I buy old games off of the shop and play them using the classic controller. My other use for the Wii is to play new games that are similar to older titles, such as New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Kirby's Return to Dreamland and Donkey Kong returns. Nintendo Wii, the greatest retro console of all time.

cons: graphics are too ugly to ignore ( some of games could be classic if its visually better)
summary: fun factor is there but it is too much for light gamers and not much for serious fun)
when i think of nintendo, i think of how sturdy the new ones are, my ds and wii have both been through a volcano and back, and both work beutifly. i dropped my ds while playing a game from 4 feet on concrete and was able to pick it up and keep playing my same session.
for all the haters why are you even hating. i am fine with it if you dont like the wii but with no good arguments? i want to lock everyone of this fucking trolls with super mario galaxy and a wii in a room for one hour...they should learn to respect amazing consoles and games
I'm not a fanboy. I bought a Wii when it was new. I'll admit, Wii is a good option when I'm tired of playing modern games, but that shouldn't be the case considering I spent $250 dollars on it!

I still use my wii for playing wii sports/ wii fit. (I love both of the titles) As well as some gamecube games (Still have my gamecube) and lego star wars games. Brilliant console to this day. Oh yeah, and I watch youtube on it, too.

1. Sony dominated the 5th and 6th generation of consoles
2. Microsoft's Xbox One will fail cause of a higher price and remembered Panasonic 3DO that was too much expensive BTW PS4 Price is $400 While Xbox One is $500
3. Graphics up to 780p while PS4 in Glorious 1080p now that's in full HD and also too many rants about Xbox one they said it will fail or not

Evidently Nintendo listened to Mark in this review, they came out with the Wii U four years later. They used touchscreen instead of analog controls, though. Sorry, Mark.
I just got a Wii and for a hardcore gamer the Wii is a great "side kick system" with only a Wii it can get boring but with a xbox/ps3 its a nice change of pace mainly the 1st party games you can get it for under 100 bucks too.
