Well, I'm officially deeming this reaction a perfect one. You've got all the right ingredients involved. One of the greatest songs ever recorded, a loving couple enjoying music together, lots of smiles and that adorable bickering with love. Awesome, keep up the great work you two, the world needs you & music now more than ever. ☮️🎵🧠
Love this song! Supertramp were a great English rock band formed in 1969. They had so many hit songs in the 70's-80's such as "Breakfast In America", "Goodbye Stranger", "Take The Long Way Home", "Dreamer", "It's Raining Again", "Bloody Well Right", "Give A Little Bit", "My Kind Of Lady", "Cannonball", "I'm Beggin' You", "You Win, I Lose" etc.
Most of the Supertamp songs are like this: superficially nice to sing along, but on closer inspection very deep. As a non-native speaker, I was able to get to know Supertramp twice.
You both have a philosophical attitude that I admire very much. The respect you have for each other is obvious too. We need people like you in America today. Thanks for your reactions. ☺✌💛, PJ
You DESERVE soooo many more followers guys ... your integrity and honesty in your reactions, plus your sensible reflections on what each other thinks ... you're a rare GOOD breed of humans ... Thanks for sharing your moments !
I'm really, really happy that you like this music. She has never left my side since the first time, in 1977. She always amazes me. There is always a detail, something that still manages to amaze me, even after hundreds and hundreds of listens.
One of the most underrated bands ever. These guys were fantastic, & Rodger Hodgson a genius. This entire album is full of terrific songs, not a bad one at all with some really good lyrics throughout (& the sax & harmonica!). Hope you do many more! (& I agree with you, there is very little civil discourse today. People disagree with you & want to shout you down instead of discuss). Your smiles said it all…how great this song is.😊
Andrei knows this song longer and heard it many times, loves the song but doesn't know what it was about 😅 a bit like me for a very long time, and Dominika hears one time and straight away is onto the context, is very true what you say about how it could easily be applied to the way things are today Dominika, you two in my opinion are a beautiful couple, real people and I loved your reaction to this great song and others I have spent time watching with you both...thank you for being real and catch you on the next one....
Supertramp is one if the best bands in the world good choice of song for reaction. Appreciate to react their song: Child Of Vision. It is so beautiful.
"The Logical Song" has been my favorite song for 40+ years and the good reactions can help transport me back to the first times i listened to it. Yours was a good one. Thank you.
This has been one of my favorite songs since I was a child, long before I could fully understand it (about 7 years old). But I have grown and so has my understanding of it. I am so thrilled that you have found it, too.
YES!! After Floyd and Dire Straits we get Supertramp. Please go down the Supertramp rabbit hole you'll truly love it. I remember seeing Floyd at Earls Court and a couple of weeks after, seeing Supertramp at the Royal Albert Hall and Scott Page was playing Sax on stage at both concerts. Fab! You will love the song "School" both lyrically and musically, again the production is superb, almost Floyd like.... enjoy.
Great reaction to a great song. I watched another video recently that explained that this is about the singer Rodger Hodgson's growing up as middle class and then getting sent to private school. It changed his view on everything as it is presented in the lyrics.. I hope I understood the story right and fact check me. LOL... I love watching other people react to the music that I grew up with👍. Keep up the great work.🍻🥂🇨🇦
Glad to see you are the only reaction channel that gets the lyrics. Supertramp was very progressive and forward-thinking part of the counterculture. Sadly, nowadays so much spin has ruined things...you are so correct when you say who speaks the loudest, same for the news channels, the one that speaks the loudest is the one that have been forced to admit lying over and over again to support one side of things. Yep, this song is fire for the music but the lyrics are HUGE for me.
Andrei was so cute when he realized that he had heard this song before. Don't worry Dominika, you probably aren't the only one who wishes not to have the responsibilities and bills that adults must endure. The sax in this song is spectacular! What a great song for you to react to. Have a great day! God Bless!🐢
This was the lead single from the album "Breakfast in America", one of the few albums in the world to have sold more than 20 million copies. It was the high point and, simultaneously, the beginning of the end of Supertramp. After the world tour they recorded another album, but things between them were already going badly and soon after Roger Hodgson, one of the two composers / singers of the band (the one who wrote and sang The Logical Song), left Supertramp. The other members tried to continue on their own, with poor results and then tried, in vain, to convince Hodgson to return. Roger continued and still continues to perform and this is still one of the most requested songs by the public
I have always loved this particular song; however, after watching this video, and your reactions to this video, I must say that I like the song even more! I cannot express enough how much I truly appreciate watching your reaction videos. I see the honest reactions of two people who love music, and sincerely respect the meaning of the songs you react to. I find myself searching for your posts every time I come to UA-cam. I truly thank you for allowing a tiny bit of truthfulness to the internet, and realism in your videos. I wish, with all my heart, that I could afford to support you in what you do. You are loved, and I thank you so much.
Excelente rola!!!!..... de mis favoritas, yo tenía 20 años cuando la oí por primera vez y desde entonces la escuchaba diariamente, saludos mis estimados desde Guadalajara México.
I'm a first time visitor to your channel.Great reaction! Fun to see younger music lovers discover Supertramp through the Logical Song. I always liked the lyrics, but it's the music and instrumentation that never failed to blow me away. Best to you!
Love this song! Great reaction! It seems in todays world, people can't agree to just disagree, there has to be one side or the other, there has to be hatred when we all need acceptance and love.
I saw Supertramp in concert in the late 70's and at the time was not familiar with the band or music so sadly I did not appreciate the experience. Love them now and wish I would have known to appreciate them then.
Thank you for your reaction....... These are some of the best lyrics ever written. Literally timeless in their impact..... The influences of "Society" are always going to be pulling us in many directions...... Finding our own place is the goal...... But it is a struggle to get there...... Thanks again......... I am always amazed by you two .
As the wheel of time turns, people go through these phases of life, and unless they successfully resist society and find their own path, they will find themselves laying in bed wondering "who am I?". The song is timeless. It was relevant in the 70s, and it is relevant today.
I have just been diagnosed autistic at 54 years old, coincidentally the age expectancy of autistic people. This song has always resonated deeply for me. Thanks for your lovely posts. ✌
At Last you have finally got to a band that is so so underated yet they are fantastic....the list for this band goes on and on, i could list songs for you but hey....just pick anything and you will be amazed.......please please go further with supertramp
Thank you this song sends me back to the 80s when my cousin and I have served in the United States Marine Corps together and grew up together. He passed away in the 90s . Memories good memories. Thank you 🙂😢🙂
It's great watching your reactions to such great songs. With Supertramp, you have to listen to Take the long way home, Fool's Ouverture (beware, you might shed a few tears), Give a little bit and so many more.
Roger Hodgson was a superb songwriter. His lyrics were usually deep and meaningful, and often had a message. This was topped off by the band themselves, most of whom were classically trained musicians.......
Supertramp were a huge band here in Canada 🇨🇦 since 1974. Their album Crime Of The Century was a huge #1 album here As were Crisis What Crisis in 1975 and Even In The Quietest Moments in 1977. #1 albums. Finally the rest of the world discovered them with the #1 album Breakfast In America. Saw them live in 1974 and 1979. Amazing band!!!❤❤❤
I am so glad you have finally listened to Supertramp. I have mentioned them to you in my comments several times. For me….they on the same level as Pink Floyd. They are musically amazing and their lyrics are deep and thought provoking. But…..they have a lighter way of presenting some very serious issues. Pink Floyd is very emotional and I love them, but Supertramp does it in a more mellow way…..please more Supertramp.❤️🙏🇨🇦
Agree, a few Supertramp reactions . So very much great music. The Floyd , Dire Straits, Stones, Supertranp, Genesis, Yes, The Who, Zep, Moody Blues. Too many from Blighty to name. And then there are the USA bands at the same time.... Wonderful reaction again!!
you were explaining how you feel about being an adult and it sucks. The song "Hotel California" was written about the line you cross from adolescence to adulthood, and how you "can never leave", once you accept the responsibilities. There is no going back to childhood.
Someone probably already said this but I didn't see it in the comments I scrolled. The story is that the songwriter, Roger Hodgson, was a very happy child who truly enjoyed his childhood but was then sent to a rather strict and severe boarding school for ten years which was a defining experience for him.
Best reactions in UA-cam, keep up guys, congratulations from Uruguay

TY for the list, I remember so many, if not all of them. 😊
Acontece haver nada n'este mu ndo de que eu gostasse máis,pois eles me têm aberto the right way to be a man, even in the quitests moments...
Most of the Supertamp songs are like this: superficially nice to sing along, but on closer inspection very deep. As a non-native speaker, I was able to get to know Supertramp twice.
Seen a few reactions to this song. You two were the first to actually LISTEN and respond to these wonderful lyrics
Agreed great reaction
I loved the relevant reaction to this song!
I loooove reviewers who THINK!
I love you guys. Keep it up!!
This great song just brings home the old saying, "The more things change, the more they stay the same.". Thanks for your reaction.
this song kicksass imo.
Love Supertramp!!!

"We are ALL vegetables these days." What an absolutely appropriate comment by Andrei. Love you guys and your great reactions. 🙂🙂🖖🖖
Songs like this are timeless and crosses all boundaries. It is something we all connect to whether in the 70s or in 2023.
I'm really, really happy that you like this music.

Second album I bought.
Can't believe it's 50 years ago!

The music that came out between 1965-1995 will never ever ever never ever be topped. The greatest melodies. Synchronize a great time.❤️
'95 is being extremely generous... Just sayin
More supertramp please, you will love them❤️
I'm in my 60s now.
A person can change.
People in general do not.
The names and faces change, but all the ideas do not!
Humanity, what a concept!
I just wanted to tell you, I love your reaction to this song, it’s the most accurate, insightful and quite right one and I’ve seen many.
I just love hearing you debate... you are so sensible and I love it! More of you to the world!
Me encanta la forma de pensar de esta mujer
crime of the Century album by supertramp is epic!

I am always amazed by you two .
one of the 20th centurys best albums ever! i have my copies!
Supertramp made on of the best albums of the 70s in Crime of the Century. Then the followed it up with 4-5 really good albums
I love you people so much ..
As the wheel of time turns, people go through these phases of life, and unless they successfully resist society and find their own path, they will find themselves laying in bed wondering "who am I?". The song is timeless. It was relevant in the 70s, and it is relevant today.

Supertramp was the real deal. 🙂 They have so many great songs, but Long Way Home is my personal fav!
Another rabbit hole. My personal favorites are "Even in the Quietest Moments" and "Crime of the Century" albums.

It really is getting unbelievable.
It's great watching your reactions to such great songs. With Supertramp, you have to listen to Take the long way home, Fool's Ouverture (beware, you might shed a few tears), Give a little bit and so many more.

Sure
Roger Hodgson was a superb songwriter. His lyrics were usually deep and meaningful, and often had a message. This was topped off by the band themselves, most of whom were classically trained musicians.......
my favorite by these guys
It's the first time I've really listened to the words of this song......They were ahead of their time.
Spot on reaction to this great Supertramp song. Great job to the both of you.
I was 13 in 79. Goodbye Stranger is my favorite by them! Great memories!! 🇺🇸
I love the Paris album..... And Breakfast in America....and from the album famous last words... cest le bon...
we need to play this during protest.
Pink Floyd , Genesis, Supertramp, Queen, Fleetwood Mac and so many others were my youth soundtrack. Thank you for reacting to this gem.
Great band and social comments.
In the seventies we had smart people doing music and art. I guess we had intelligent influencers.
I do love sheep. They are cute and helpless.
Listen to your wife, friend - she is totally switched on to what is happening in the world. And so were ST - prophets before their time!
Nicely played Y'all 👍 I grew up on this. The bottom line... Innocence lost when we have to grow up. Spread the love 🐶😎🇺🇸
One of my favorite songs I love everything about this song greetings friends
You should do more Supertramp. Being familiar with you taste in music, you're going to love them.
Love this song!
"Those who know the least, know it the loudest".
One of the greatest songs ever writen and performed!
My wife bought this album. It is downstairs somewhere sadly. Very popular back in the day.

"please don't make me feel bad for not knowing this song". Lol.
you were explaining how you feel about being an adult and it sucks. The song "Hotel California" was written about the line you cross from adolescence to adulthood, and how you "can never leave", once you accept the responsibilities. There is no going back to childhood.
As someone who lived through them the 70s were a dress rehearsal for today 😂
Great reaction. Subscribed.

You're right. It's shocking how relevant the lyrics still are 45 years on.
Imo, the Album "Crime of the Century" is stellar and "School" is their ultimate hit!!!
But it's really a listen to the whole album experience.
They would be called 'far right' in these times!
You would probably love "School"!
"Character Assassination" is the last resort of the "defeated".
