Dear Bo: I used boiled egg yolk, to feed fry, when I was in grade school. I found it to be a very tedious process, requiring numerous water-changes. I’ve had super-terrific success, with vinegar eels, as a first-food, for white cloud fry. I have a friend who is setting up micro-worm and infusoria cultures. I hope to begin using these foods, for smaller fry, in future. I sincerely hope your fry are not diseased. Thank you for sharing these, amazing shots, of your fantastic, breeding success. All my best, Sincerely, E. J. Brinegar
Dear Brinegar, yes, feeding egg yolk to fry is a very tedious process, but it is pretty convenient to come by. I only wanted to feed them just before they are able to consume baby brine shrimp. CPDs are actually the first type of fry that I've fed which takes so many days before they can eat BBS. Sadly, all my diseased fry have passed away, but fortunately, the remaining ones are healthy and able to eat BBS now. I appreciate your well wishes for the health of my fry. Thank you for your kind words about the breeding success shots I shared.
I could kick myself for purchasing a fish, about which I was unsure. The blue Endler I bought, Saturday, swam with a bit of a wobbling motion. I knew better than to chance it, but purchased it, anyway. Today, I returned the fish, which passed, suddenly, Sunday, for a refund. I asked the Manager if he will get more Endler's and he said that he intends to do so. I hope he comes, with more "Japanese blue Endlers," as that specimen had terrific coloration.
Yes, it was a blue Endler I purchased, at my, local Feeders Supply. I don't know why he expired, suddenly. Physically, I saw now issues, such as ich. However, since his swimming was a bit wobbly, I regret purchasing him. In future, I'll be more selective. The Manager at Feeders said he intends to stock Endler's, now. However, I do believe I'll stick with the stock I have, as they come from three sources and I have a few that are blue.
Thanks for your comment! I have received a lot of suggestions about breeding Glowlight Tetras before, and I will definitely consider covering that topic in my future video. Thanks for your support and following
I am so tempted to attempt to breed fish now! I don't know if this is possible but there are some machines that you can use to pulverize spices, and some people use them to pulverize fish food, it makes them as fine as dust, would it be possible to use pulverized fish food to feed fish fry? Just a thought, thanks for sharing!
Hi Sergios. Absolutely! Breeding fish can be a fascinating and rewarding hobby. I think egg yolk can just do the job, and that's only for the first few meals before the fry are able to eat BBS. Just remember, BBS is the best nano fish fry food, so as soon as they are able to eat them, we should feed them until they are adults. Thanks for your comment!
Hi Kumar, I haven't tested the TDS of my water, but it is pretty soft. GH is around 2, pH is around 7, and the temperature is 26-28 ℃. Hope it is helpful.

Hi Brinegar, I'm so sorry to hear that! Was it the blue endler you showed in your last video? But he looks so lively and healthy, how did he just die
