Thanks for this video. Clear and to the point, much easier to follow than others I've seen. I'm not trying to breed CPDs, but yesterday I noticed two very tiny fry swimming around in the open water in a tank where I had CPDs up until two weeks ago. I only have corydoras and one male betta in there now, so I'm guessing the fry must be CPDs, since they're not scavenging on the ground like corys. Hopefully I can get them to survive somehow.
Wonderful video mate, definitely deserves some more love. I’ll be trying this with my CPDs pretty soon.
Great video mate, so relaxing and very informative. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for the kind words
Love hearing you. It is like turning on sleep relaxation video and just being contempt 😊
Ceep it coming up! I know it is not easy but you are making great quality content 👌
Thanks so much!

Great video thank you for info!
Substantive video.
What's your temperature in the tank?
This is a good video
Thanks for this

Nice
what's the water parameter of your breeding tank? Do you use RO water?
I have found a way to auto collect CPD eggs so you don’t have to hunt around for them every day. As they are not getting predated on, your harvest is much higher too. I’m happy to link to my video with your approval.
Sure, that would be great! The more knowledge the better :)

What is the temperature to incubate eggs?
Hey, I have a question about the feeding. I've had one successful spawn but struggled with feeding. You mention just letting them feed from micro organisms in the water column but mine seem to struggle. Do you know if they can take repashy or something like that?
Is your nursery tank an established tank? As long as the tank has been up and running for a while their will be plenty of macroscopic tiny organisms for them to feed on. If you're unsure that there will be enough infusoria then add some mosses, they have a huge surface area that micro and macroscopic organisms culture on very easily. Microworms and newly hatched brine shrimp once they're big enough, but just watch them when you feed them, you can see whether they're actually eating the food you put in. If they aren't then don't feed more and try again tomorrow! I would also stay away from any processed foods until they're considered juveniles, as any uneaten food can be quite polluting. Hope that helps! :)
I would recommend feeding with paramecium. This ensure they have food without having to rely on what may or may not be in your tank or on moss. Lowell’s fish lab has wonderful instructional videos if you want to try paramecium.
Nice voice, nice fiish are there pacific blue eye in with the danios?
They are Norman's Lampeyes :)
Can I spawn then when shrimp are in the tank ?
Hello can anyone tell me at what size/age the adult CPDs stop preying on the fry?
water paramenters for breeding?
Back again. What are your water parameters? Has the Lampeyes been breeding for you?
Yes! A lot! They are breeding even more than the CPDs at the moment!
My water parameters are moderately hard water, pH 7, 24 degrees Celsius
What type of live food
I asked my fish a lot of eggs, but the hatching rate is less than 5%, why is that, how to incubate the eggs? thank
Is that just ordinary wool ?
Do you have any concerns with them getting inbred when you put the offspring back in with the previous generation?
Are they not able to develop in the aquarium with the parents?
They'll probably get eaten.
4:15 what food?
where can i buy the spawning mop???
its just acrylic (synthetic) yarn, cheap yarn online or from craft stores.
@@MarsOG310 yea,,,i just buy from MR DIY
@@MarsOG310 2 dark green,1 brown colour
You can find good videos on how to make them. I use knitting wool and wrap it around a book 50-100 times before tying it the end off :) Best of luck with breeding!
That can't be right only found in 2007 swear I had them before that. I went to sparsholt in 2007 and already had some and that's before I bought more from Neil Hardy.
He's off by one year, 2006

Think you sucked one up.
He sucked one up at 3:03-3:05 that is for sure. Loved the video nonetheless, and no worries!
I counted two lol
Is this human speaking or a software? Cant listen to this because it sounds so robotic and forced.
I'm an AI :)
Sounds fine to me.
