@@MrWesQ I was considering that myself, but I I found the straps to be WAY more comfortable without the MOLLE. I did forget to talk about that in the full review. Though I did bring it up in one of my other GR1 videos.
@theskyislimitless 0 seconds ago Thanks for watching. I do not currently have any HB discounts. My contact there is out on leave becoming a first time dad, so I cannot inquirer about any at this time. But stay tuned! I will see in the future!
Also agree that the orange pocket is bad (particularly how it stands out in the main compartment). I waited for quite a long time for the slick to be rereleased (even emailed Goruck and huckleberry, both always stating nothing was planned, lol) and the ordered the bag within 2 hours from release. Just to discover this „special feature“ (no mention/pictures on the website when I ordered), which was enough to send it back, unfortunately.
I just preordered the CPL16. Should I cancel the preorder and get this in 21L? I’m curious to know which is the superior EDC bag. The only downside I see with this is that the laptop compartment is weird to get into.
I do love Evergoods, but I am not a fan of the CPL. I would 100% go with a GR1 ( prf.hn/l/eOBWxpo). I also really like the GR1 laptop sleeve. It opens wider than a side access laptop sleeve and is much easier to get the laptop in and out. One thing I found with Evergoods bags, is they cram so many features into a bag, it makes the bag hard to use. A GR1 has a great shape to fully load it out, and the perfect amount of organization. And I say this as a guy who currently has 4 GR bags and 0 Evergoods bags (I love them, but sold them all).
@@jeffgrantMEDIA I was looking at the bag from the link you mentioned but I see that the Coyote does not have the new quick access pocket near the handle like the black one does. It's strange as I can clearly see the black one has it but when you look at the Coyote's zoomed-in photo of the handle, there doesn't appear to be that same zipper pocket. Very unfortunate as I really like the Coyote color.
@@mr_red13 I have confirmed the coyote version does have the QA pocket and the 210D backing. Those are the old images. Huckberry is aware the assets are outdated and I have been told will be updated ASAP. I checked this last week for some fella's in an FB group.
Added shoulder strap MOLLE and a sternum strap to mine. It is now the perfect EDC/work bag!

Thanks for the review! I was wondering if you would have any huckberry discounts? Thank you!

While I am not a fan of the orange color, the utility of it far outweighs the "brightness" of it. I might need to update my 21L MOLLE GR1 now!

@@mr_red13 you're welcome!
Got this for few yers. 11 stars out of 10
@@andreasvonbalaban9410 agreed!
Agree on qap being like grey for this. Doesnt match the purpose / person who wouod use it of the bag.
Light grey would still make it easy to see inside, but keep that low key look of the bag.

Great pack right here.
