My biggest worry with Dyneema is how it will look long term (wrinkling specifically). I'm an airline pilot as well and use some Ultra 200 pouches for work/travel. They get wrinkled over time from usage, which doesn't matter to me since they go in my luggage. Interested how Dyneema would look long term for a backpack though. Probably better than the Ultra material based on what I can see in your video.
JB- I saw your other video listing the estimated liters for each bag. Curious to know your real world experience. Is the Bullet 16 DC able to hold more than the GR1 21L? Thanks so much!
The contrasting spearheads are overkill and tacky, especially on something they're selling at a premium price. It makes the bags look cheap. I don't understand why they're so insistent on ignoring the community and their customers.
I really wish goruck would reconsider the 200d - the straps are so slippery and tend to slide towards the top outside of the shoulder, which is just no good.
Do you know if a 16 MacBook would fit in the m23 21L? I’ve see. Some say it will fit in the canvas models but not the robic. Just curious if maybe the dimensions or maybe fabric was more forgiving and can fit?
Hmm. The m23 is a waxed canvas design for me. I guess due to the heritage design. More rigid than goruck their cordura? *** Those zips will be a workout. I like the robic DC I have because it packs so easy. I guess due to how easy robic is? That will be less so with the dyneema? I'm not necessarily a waterproof zipper fan. But it's weird how the robic bullet has it now and the dyneema one doesn't.
Why get dyneema B182C when you already have the Ultra Kaidan 3 variant? Aren’t you basically just downgrading or do you just want to have a backup for the Ultra B182C?
@@JBOutside1I know you’re pals (see what I did there? PALS? 😂) with them down there, but I feel you’re cutting GR too much of a break for this. I got the Robic DC and took a fabric pen to it for 3 coats, and, yea, it looks ok. But a $400 bag? You really shouldn’t have to. It’s tacky. (I’ll probably still buy one, though lol)
Sick of bags that can stand rain. Welcome to Sweden walking to work and everything is soaked. Just bought the Evergoods CTB 26 in X- Pac and the pocket outside with watergaurd zippers couldnt handle it.? Dont know what to buy?!
Out of the three fabrics, I like waxed canvas the most. But at the same time, it's the least desirable material for me because I live in a hot and very humid climate. I got the M23 in robic, and so far, so good. But somehow, it is not as comfortable as the GRs with the 1000D back panel. 🤔🤦🏻♂️
Love the channel. I get the aesthetic and the community around GoRuck, but tbh they are one of the worst value for $ options on the market. To get it to be more than an empty book bag it have to spend at least 200-250. Just a tough pill to swallow. Def durable but there are so many better options.

You mean you don't like the crumpled up dorritos bag look? lol. Honestly, it's fine. My dyneema GR1 21L has been by daily for a long time time.
@@dylantodd9574 exactly lol. I think I'd almost prefer Robic. Still lightweight without the wrinkling.
Well I can say my original GRXC1 (shown in the video) has held up famously
I love the Dyneema crunch! If the olive waxed canvas M23 had been released with the webbing of the Dark Oak M23...chef's kiss!
Oh, nice combo!

Packs different but yes
@ thx champ
How does the crinkle factor of Dyneema compare to x-pac? For example, I have the Phoenix 2 for reference.
Very similar

Agree
I have a Dyneema GR2 26L and the one thing I wish for is side molle on it. The new one now has it but 34L is just to big for me.
Bummer
So this Dyneema collection they added side Molle and side grab handles, I wonder why scars won’t add this to previous Dyneema releases
Great question and I don't have a good answer for you
@@JBOutside1 appreciate the videos always and reviews! Also how much does the m23 Dyneema 21L hold compared to a GR2 26L Dyneema?
Out of dyneema and the xpac Goruck bags, which one do you prefer?
DYNEEMA

I hear you. I too wish they would limit the 210D to the training versions.

I don’t believe so
Love it saw they released a field pocket as well
Yes! A whole range of things

Not sure why they added that zipper tbh

They DO feel different and for those that don’t have the ultra…they can get this now
Could you share the weight of these bags? The weight listed on site don’t make sense (I assume they’ve copied/pasted and not updated them correctly)
I will…but traveling at the moment…sorry.
@@JBOutside1 thanks JB; appreciate that
It's the 45L GR3 that I was nicely suprised to see. But I'm bummed that they branded the collection with a white arrowhead... on dyneema... no bueno.
Black Sharpie...

@@michaeldegregory4674 I don’t see the issue with a white arrowhead personally gives it a pop of minimal branding

Tough call really
Goruck 1000d bags are way better to stand rain than most xpac

@@JBOutside1 Yup. 😅
I know you’re excited about that Mystery Ranch Dragon 2.0 dropping in a couple hours!
😁
@@JBOutside1 did you end up getting all 4 colorways? If not, I bet you got white and black ones 😃- every color is still available, surprisingly
When is Go Ruck gonna make a bullet with a water bottle pocket?
Never. At least not an external one

No argument on the pricing...but the dyneema is a little pricey across the board
Totally agree.
