I will have to say I totally agree, this is something I wouldn't purchase right away. When I think of a sandbag JC, I think of something to do farmer carriers with and a max weight of 55lbs isn't enough.
I'm not sure if I should pick the sandbag or this jerry can. I'm going to travel and this seems the best option to ruck. But definitely the sandbag seems funnier and more versatile. Would you ruck about 3 miles with a sandbag 2.0? Or just pick the jerry can for traveling and the sandbag once I'm back home to build my home gym. Thx!! And sorry for so many questions ^^
Sandbag 2.0 if I could only have one. Empty it out for travel and fill it up once you’re there. Fill less than full if you want to toss it in your bag. Fill it fully full to carry it and do workouts. Best bang for the buck.
@@Rucking I ended getting both. I realised if they’re empty they don’t take almost any space un the suitcases. Once I fill them up I can use both at the same time when working out so on leg day the amount of weight can be around 80lbs (Rucker+jerrycan inside + sandbag squats). On Christmas I’ll get the 60lbs for sure ^^ Thank you very much for all your replies !!
I'm going to travel and cannot take the plates with me. This seems like a good option. But I'm worry is so tight that I'm going to break my zippers. What's your opinion? Thx!! (By the way, thx to you videos I got my Rucker 4.0 20l)
It is tight, but it fits. If you are worried it is too tight and might pop a zipper, then just lose a little sand. // Glad the videos are helpful. Hope you enjoy the ruck.
It’s got two fabric dividers inside that go most of the way down with empty space at the bottom. So as you fill it the sand gets distributed. The sides are sturdy so they don’t flex out while carrying.
How would this do in something like a Tactical Tailor, LBT or USGI Assault Pack?
Not sure. I don't have those.

Agree.
Do you already have a plate in the Rucker when loading the jerry can or was the Rucker completely empty/ no room for your ruck plate?
Mine was empty, but it will fit when a plate is in there too.
Which boots are you wearing?
Will the 45 lb fit in a rucker 2.1 20L too?

@@getout116 Should, in theory.

@@Rucking awesome! I'll definitely do that. All the best my friend!
I worry about the weight distribution compared to a ruck plate. Does it make the weight more on the bottom?
It pretty much fills nearly the entire 20L bag, so it certainly sits differently than a plate.

For the masochist in the group will the jerry can fit with a plate in there?😜
Yup.
