Yamaha Tenere 700 - Oxford heated grips full installation

Here's how to install Oxford heated grips on your Tenere 700 motorcycle. I connected to the auxiliary power connection, but you could also run them directly to the battery. I've installed these heated grips on a few motorcycles and they work great.

Great guide, thank you. I'm adding the same kit to the same bike and this is very helpful. I plan to install the controls on the handle bar using a 1/4in by 1in u-clamp. Seems to fit very nicely next to the left side controls. The tips about the auxiliary power connector is very much appreciated as well... thanks again!!

Wire coat hangers work great too. Golf club grip solvent and the hanger and grips come off reusable.

what if you want to install auxillary lights and heated grips? Should you plug the wire in the same connector or split the wire harness?

For lights you can use the 2-pin adapter. That's how I installed two Baja lights.
