Pavelin Inspired by you it definitely deserves an upgrade, and inspired by you I will also take advantage of the space I have under the rider's seat (CBR250R 2013). Choosing tools according to a to-do list of tasks that I will be willing to deal with them on the way, it's also a revolutionary idea. Thanks for all the advice and inspiration. I'll be at the NW200 road races in Northern Ireland this week, I love checking out the paddock workshops. Your approach to only necessary tools is exactly the same, if they/you don't need a 9MM fitting on the bike then it's not in the tool box /kit. NW200 200mph+ on closed public road circuit a spectacular event. Gonna be big this week, missed due to the pandemic for two years. Maybe you'll make it on your travels some year? 🤔

For oil filter removing you can use screwdriver what you can hammer into oil filter. Then you can get rid of oil filter cap :). Also you can remove filter with strap or belt. There is hole in the swingarm with rubber cap where you can store light weighted items like gloves, towel, swab etc.
