You are so awesome Victoria! I am in 2023 but still watching your videos prepping me for the CPC exam i 2 weeks! Thank you for your time and you have a great teaching approach! Sandra in Kentucky
I'm preparing for my CCS, and your examples and explanation videos have been so much help. I graduated from an AHIMA Certified college with my associates and your videos have been so much better than my professors. Thank you!!
I found you when I first started learning about coding and went to online college and now am graduated with My AS in medical office assistance and now am going to take my Certification exam at the end of this month! Thank you for your help in understanding its a lot to take in, when you are just starting.
I love your new instruction video reviews. It has helped me the most. Especially doing the case studies. I watched them a few times each. Imfeeling more confidently, i may be able to tackle the case studies. Something i needed major work on. You are an amazing teacher!!!! Thank you so much. PLEASE keep on......keeping on doing case studies
thank you!!! I am currently studying for my CPC exam and I am beyond grateful for these practice questions. Look forward to the rest of the CPT chapters
Thank you so much for the videos and explanation. The AAPC course is so fast and the language is not easy. Your videos help me to get a better understanding I really appreciate you!
great video and very helpful how you have it set up. i can see the book pages clearer and i like how you show in the book where it is. and underline what we are looking for. wonderfully done. thank you!!
This video is amazing Victoria. It helped me alot with case studies which is my weekest area. Watching how you break it down has been a game changer. Any tips on Medicare questions?
Very helpful. Thank you. I’m thinking of taking the CPC without finishing the classes? Not sure it’s possible but very short on time. I really appreciate all your help.
You can always give it a try. My recommendation is taking practice exams, and when you score 80% on practice exams, you are more than likely ready for the real exam.
@@ContempoCoding Where do you find practice exams? I am currently in the classes but still getting 70 and lower on practice assignments. Any additional help is needed. My issue is not dissecting the question properly in relevance of importance.
I can get the CPT/ICD-10-CM manuals for an enormous discount from Optum however now that I have my AAPC manuals, I have realized that these manuals will be much better for the CPC exam purposes. It's so crazy how much variation there is from publisher to publisher! Sidenote: when my dad was an EMT in a small town, there were several times he was called for help with toddlers with corn, a lego and a penny inserted in their nose. That curiousity 😅
One thing that helped me with the COPD with Bronchitis is understanding that the Bronchitis is the infection. Which is the Code also: for the COPD. I am a newbie in CPC class so if I am thinking of this wrong please comment.
I'm having trouble distinguishing VAS codes from non-VAS codes. I couldn't find the VAS sub header in the alpha index under Thoracoscopy. Can you help me identify which are VAS from non-VAS codes please?
Anyone who knows can answer....In this video, Victoria said Surgical procedures are included in the diagnostic so I made a note to do not double-code. Is this just for respiratory or all systems?
Victoria, if a patient had cancer on the skin of their nose for example, would the code be in the respiratory section or neoplasms or skin or all of the above? Sometimes I feel like sections blur together and I get a little mixed up/overwhelmed. I am preparing for my CPC and I am trying to get my brain organzied somehow lol.
Like your show very much I have a question My English is not very good (not enough words) I am confused when facing a handwritten case, what should I do? Over time, my English will improve, but I can’t wait that long. I need to become a case medical coding practitioner within June. Thank you again for your program, let me know the path.
You’re teaching me more than my AAPC CPC instructor, like you’re really getting me through these classes and I cannot thank you enough! ❤
Love you going over problems step by step and process of elimination. Very helpful watching your methodology.

Should I be concerned that I my cpt 2023 manual does not have some of the codes that are answers for some of the online reviews for the exam?
Wonderful friend ❤

Am I right then to say that R codes do NOT ever go with C codes?
Victoria, if a patient had cancer on the skin of their nose for example, would the code be in the respiratory section or neoplasms or skin or all of the above? Sometimes I feel like sections blur together and I get a little mixed up/overwhelmed. I am preparing for my CPC and I am trying to get my brain organzied somehow lol.
If it's skin, it would be from the skin section. Table of neoplasms > skin > nose.
If topics in general are one to 2 years old are they still relevant? Will it be OK to follow an older video? (2024)
Like your show very much
