How could Adam Brundage's case go "cold" for so long? How could his murderer continue to use his belongings for so long? It makes me sick with the injustices of life.

The video said that he was the suspect, but there was no evidence to snare him with until the DNA hunt found him out. People used to react to the "obvious" and we had lynchings. Though it may be horribly frustrating to require evidence before conviction, that assumption of innocence without proof of guilt is one of the reasons our country's legal system, with all its flaws, is so much better than many other countries' systems.

It is a total injustice. My questions are, how does someone pay property taxes, if the person who owns the townhouse is dead, without that being noticed. How does someone drive another's vehicle without paying OR with paying for the car registration & car insurance, if there is no official document making them a co owner or owner upon death, which gives them the right to pay these bills. Also, it is probable that if the most likely suspect works at a rock quarry, that he got rid of the body there. The whole thing is ludicrous. I have to wonder, if whomever investigated this case, was told to not excavate the quarry because of the astronomical expense and time that would have been put into making that happen. I always feel so bad for the family of someone who is missing pretty much knowing who the responsible party is and the police refuse to delve deeper into the obvious suspect. I am glad the killer has been identified, however, anyone could have figured that out from the get go. There are circumstantial cases with way less information available!

Poshlady43 most people don’t have roommates for fun. Most people can’t afford an apartment or home plus all the other bills they have. Maybe we need to look into why the rich get richer and wages have dropped and benefits are non existent.
I am from the area and it’s not cheap, even “bad neighborhoods” are now $1000 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment and even that would be “cheap”.
But I have a problem with the 3rd degree murder. I used to work at a strip club and one of
The managers/bouncers was given 3rd degree murder after he punched a guy and he fell and a pebble he hit caused him to pass away. The man was the abusive ex of one of the dancers who was close with the owners gf . Even with a restraining order he wouldn’t leave and he was drunk. After he talked shit to the owners gf (who was a waitress and he was sitting exactly where she had to pick up her drinks from the bar) so he kept taunting and being belligerent so finally dude was kicked out and they called a cab.
He promised he wasn’t going to do anything and then promptly went back in. Then did it again. After this the dude is wasted and talking shit and Jack (manager and bouncer)told him to wait next door and off the property and he flipped at Jack and started punching him and finally Jack just clocked him and he fell on a pebble and died about 2 weeks later.
The MSM then painted the victim as perfect and Jack as a raging maniac. A good family man who sold drugs, multiple arrests and protection orders from women, ran through her money to buy/use drugs , wasn’t paying child support, and a long list of of other things? When Jack **really ** was a great family man. I don’t think he can have kids but he raised his wife’s daughter as his own and did anything and everything for her.
Jack pled to 3rd degree murder mainly to spare his family and he got 20 years. Yet we let pedophiles walk with “counseling “.

Like the video states, they had suspected him from the beginning. No one would notice that and think nothing of it nor do nothing. He had an excuse for it, and without concrete evidence, there's nothing you can do. You HAVE to be proven guilty. Lucky he even confessed to it at all because there'd be no closure. The body was buried too deep and most likely would've never been found without his cooperation. It sucks and you may not like it, but without those protections in place, innocent people have been put to death. So they followed things exactly as they should have.

@@tablescissors Bullshit. If you think only sociopaths and narcissists kill and live on, you're sourly mistaken. People kill when they feel too strongly, when they feel like they can't control themselves. Sometimes, even when you're perfectly normal, you feel nothing afterward.
But who says they went on like it was nothing? Maybe they cried themselves to sleep, maybe they were pledged by guilt, maybe drowned their sorrows in alcohol? Who knows? You're not in their brain, the fact that they *look* like they're not affected, doesn't mean they're not affected. Like Panonymous Bllom said, they most likely dont. You really want to confess to police that you murdered someone? If you did, your life will most likely be over so if anyone were to had just killed someone, they WILL hide it but internally, they will probably be fighting their demons and be very conflicted. The fact that you assume that they just stroll through normal life is a stupid notion to have. It's like people with mental illness. You most likely dont notice that they have it until they said they do. People hide their emotions in public to try and avoid looking like a weirdo. But internally, they are struggling.

If he didn't have a record, and had a wife who was a private detective, he had a good chance of clearing himself---unless he knew or strongly suspected he was the killer.

Families often feel overwhelming injustice in a system that can't sentence their loved ones killers to the same terror they inflicted upon the victims. I'd say Parabon and others are getting closer to balancing the scales for Lady Justice. While some perpetrators may fear death and others life imprisonment, ask any stalking victim, that anticipation of a promised attack is terror all the same. Kind of makes you want to go around quietly humming "Bad boys, bad boys....." and see who gets squirmy.
