Mrs. Sanborn having the presence of mind in that moment NOT to turn off the faucet using the taps is honestly the biggest brain move I think I've heard in an unsolved case.
And they wonder why people take the law into their own hands. It would seem that killers who get away with the murder of an innocent person can only have justice meted out by a person or persons outside our justice system. This monster beat a young girl and ran her over with his truck. He then went on living his life for decades, spent a year in jail awaiting trial and got to go home a free man again, with ten years of probation. If he should violate his probation, what would be his punishment? Twelve years of more probation?
I agree! As someone who used to work in the Prosecutor's Office, I feel that most criminal defense lawyers should be disbarred. Self-representation is much significantly cheaper and it gets just as good a result.
Plea deals don't allow for justice to be served, that last one nearly made me blow a blood vessel. Carla's family please know that others feel rage at deals like this.
Right? That bastard got caught with bloody red hair in his place, made a confession in jail, and police went "(shrug) Not enough evidence!" He got to live for almost 40 years before that print was raised, but then the DA's office adds insult to injury with that plea deal... did they even consult the family?? 🤬
He took the cowards way out rather than face up to justice and i have no doubt that he remembered the murder that he commited he simply feigned ignorance
DNA is pretty new, so at one time all the cases were solved without it. Sometimes it takes a tipoff, like when David Kaczynski recognized a certain pattern in the Unabomber's writing.
Everett's family learned the who, but must be saddened to know his death was so unnecessary. Kevin had the bad luck to resemble another man, who was being hunted by a bunch of numbskulls. Carla's killer needs to remember our justice system is imperfect, but Karma doesn't mess around. Someday he will come face to face with this knowledge. Bet he won't be smirking smugly then.
You are the absolute BEST true crime channel! Your videos are sooo relaxing, they are my ASMR💆♀️. Extremely shocked at the outcome of the last case🤯. But so glad to see a new video this Easter weekend🤍
That lady in Everetts case was damn smart! Thank God for her🙏🏼 That poor lady who was Kevins wife tho! All that time they were apart and God put them back together in such happiness. And to lose him to monsters who didn't even know who they were killing...jeez! 💔 Ok I'm totally gobsmacked about that last one. Carlas murder. WTF? HOW did they fix it so he got NO TIME? A plea deal that says you're free if you come to court? That's about it. Manslaughter? How does even that filthy lie allow that monster to go free? WTF. WTF. WTF!!!!!!! It's no wonder everybody running around killing. People saying that murderers get life, real life here not like other countries need to pay attention. Obviously that ISN'T true here either. Shameful judge etc. He was going to buy his own lawyer but it sounds like he bought the judge instead, or the DA. My heart goes out to these people. RIP🕊️Thank you HC🙏🏼😓🤬
How on the world is that possible? If they thought they had a weak case then who cares? Might as well go for it bc worst case he ends up free just like the plea deal.
Did I miss something? Was there a motive to Carla's random murder? Suggestion to Heavy Casefiles... it would be useful to put chapter markers at rhe start of each new case. Thx.
Great video topic. I first thought these might be cases solved by confessions. It seems wrong to say that I was pleasantly surprised by a video on this topic, but I hope you know what I mean.
Handing anyone a '1st degree murder' sentence in a homocide case of mistaken identity is gross injustice. Why even have degrees then? Why even have trials? Just do whatever you want.
20:25 you have you be flipping kidding me?! It’s bad enough that they even offered him a plea deal in the first place, but then they allow him another chance to take the same deal despite rejecting it…but then that’s the sentence he gets for beating someone to death?! That’s what they call ‘justice’ for this poor woman and her family?! It’s so wrong. It’s infuriating.
Great idea for a vid! Theyre so rare to hear abt compared to G.G., that U almost forget real Police work CAN solve cold cases! But thankfully a lot more can get solved now👍🏻 Good to know good ppl still exist out there & will speak the truth ❤️
Mrs. Sanborn having the presence of mind in that moment NOT to turn off the faucet using the taps is honestly the biggest brain move I think I've heard in an unsolved case.
She is definitely an unsung hero. Such a great job!
Whoever came up with that plea deal needs to be disbarred
Well, the judge did allow it.
No… whoever APPROVED it

They don’t care it’s not their family

That last one was disgraceful! An insult to the family! No jail because he’s already served time!>>>Ridiculous 🙏🙏🙏👵🇦🇺
I swear the criminals have more rights than the poor victims 😢
Plea deals don't allow for justice to be served, that last one nearly made me blow a blood vessel. Carla's family please know that others feel rage at deals like this.
What??? That last one is so disappointing 😢

Finally, solved cases without dna! Appreciate this unique niche of solved crime cases.
355 days for a cold blooded murder are they crazy
Perps in the second case have zero redeeming qualities as humans , what a tragic loss for Kevins' family and friends.
Please don't stop putting your content out; I miss your Videos!!! 💓❤💓❤

The plea deal shows us the justice system is not concerned with the victims of these crimes.
No known enemies you could have an enemy without realising that you have one

Oh, he’s going to violate that probation.
So happy to see you back.
Thank you for all the hard work you do for your viewers 💜
Thank you for your channel and for keeping these cases in the public eye. May we never forget these victims.
Finding the red hair should have been enough. What a travesty.
I love this channel ❤. It’s always good to see cases solved.
Poor Carla’s family, justice should have been served years ago; let alone the joke sentence. Carla received no justice.
You are the absolute BEST true crime channel! Your videos are sooo relaxing, they are my ASMR💆♀️. Extremely shocked at the outcome of the last case🤯. But so glad to see a new video this Easter weekend🤍
Murder and NO PRISON TIME? WTF
Yes! Thanks so much.❤
🎥✨ "Your video heavy case files are unmatched, truly incredible! 😍" ✨🎥
This is a real interesting video. Would like a sequel
Thank you for sharing. Take care everyone
The last one is sickening
💜 Thank you.
I’d love to see a slow transition from the old mugshot to the current one where the old pic fades into the new one to really see that facial change

Great job.good to see these cases being solved
(Psst, I think your description is from the previous bombing video)
Great work, Kenya.Your husband would be proud of you, to see that he got justice.
You know society is doomed when criminals have more rights than the victims
Thank you, HC.
365 days? WTF? This is BS
How on the world is that possible? If they thought they had a weak case then who cares? Might as well go for it bc worst case he ends up free just like the plea deal.
Gee, even I'm not related to Carla, my blood boiled by these pathetic sentence.
That last case is really an outrage; but so is killing someone to get a little cash. Thank you for bringing these to our attention.
Did I miss something? Was there a motive to Carla's random murder?
Suggestion to Heavy Casefiles... it would be useful to put chapter markers at rhe start of each new case. Thx.
A very nice video again thnx.

When I heard that Kenya told her family to take off their buttons because Kevin finally had justice, I literally teared up. Damn.
First! Never happened before! Yahoo! LOVE this channel
Kevin Drink’s case is really disturbing. A killer wanted to kill a witness and Kevin was collateral damage. A good man killed by evil men.

So sad that Carla Lowe's murderer was not punished for that crime. The slap on the wrist was an insult. The justice system truly failed Carla.
Wow, these cases…
Delano's murder could have been solved before 2013. That last case is outrageous. No jail time??
✔️
R.I.P. to victims prayers for their family and friends. Justice may not be served here but they will have to answer to a higher power God .
That was interesting
Really? Because he was murdered, it must have been his fault? Typical victem blaming.
The last one is insane. I suppose after Epstein this is exactly what to expect from Florida courts.
So, why was Carla killed?
Coward took himself out without even giving the family info about exactly what happened.
Um, your description doesn't match the topic.
Yes, at least the first one was... fingerprints.
Uhhhhh yes it does.
Carla's family had every right to handle that situation themselves after the system failed them.
