Krystal, you just make videos the way you want, hon. You're showing the real, day-to-day process. ...of plant care and emotional healing. Love is sometimes a messy, tedious, frustrating yet needful thing, whether it's for plants or people. You just keep doing you. ...and we'll tag along. Praying for you, girl! ❤️
@The rainbow doge In the Southern states in the USA, Hon or Honey is a term of endearment. It’s a good thing. And I totally agree. Krystal you make any kind of video you want. We will be here and root, get it, for you all the way!
You're helping lots of people, with your videos, me included. I'm grieving my husband too, 39 years together, lost him 16 months ago and I am broken. I love plants and have bought a lot in the last few months and because of your videos, most of them are still alive!😊. Keep going, stay strong. ❤
I don't own A SINGLE PLANT in my whole home, but I watch you because of you 😊 I love your information, humor, calm voice, and seeing your plants thrive! ❤️ You are awesome.
I’m sorry your going through this difficult time. I appreciate you sharing a slow and quiet day though. I’m struggling at the moment as well. It was nice just to accompany you through the “mundane”. Sometimes it’s the mundane that gives us a little reprieve from what is weighing on us. ❤️🩹
You know, some people are so comforting when doing absolutely mundane things and talking. You’re definitely one of those people. It feels like hanging out with a friend. Ive always wanted a carnivorous plant but am definitely intimidated 😅 Hugs to you❤ i wish you success (whatever that is to you,) peace, resilience, and all the good happy wonderful things
It takes courage to surpass insecurities and filming a vlog about simple things you do day to day and im happy you post those vlogs cause these are what I enjoy ! When you like a content creator it doesn’t matter what they post, you watch them for them ! Hope your having a good week ! 🤍
I could watch videos like this all of the time if u put them out. It’s like hanging with a friend, listening to ya chat about life and plants. What more could ya want? 😊
I’m horrifically sick and in bed, and Krystal? Your low key energy is perfect today. It’s grounded and comforting, and you don’t need to feel bad for not always operating at a 10. Few people do! Low key hanging out with friends is good, too. And I like that wall reorg - it’s kind of like shiplap for plants. I’m a fan of hanging propagation bulbs from window….
Who wants to see this? I do! Love to see the plants, how to take care of them and I love the talking. It's so calm and real. Keep doing it girl! I'll keep watching! Lots of love
I feel the same. I lost my son, an undetected heart condition at barely 18😱😫😭 I try to stay busy. But I'm glad to be home, then I see him everywhere. I know he wants me to be happy,,
You're authentic which is more welcome than "entertaining" sometimes. No one can be "up" all the time. It is a talent to engage in a way that viewers feel like friends just chillin' with you. Keep on keeping it real. We love you. 💜
As a new follower, I just wanted to say that I LOVE these videos!! As someone else mentioned, some of us feel lonely. Watching your videos as I'm doing my planty things helps so much more than you know! I appreciate and thank you for your hilarious personality and awesome tips and tricks! Keep making videos, however you feel comfortable ❤
Krystal, I wanna take a moment to say thank you. I found your Instagram a while back when I wasn't in a very good place mentally or physically, right around the time that I decluttered my whole home. I took notes from your posts, assembled all the greens that I found, and made it my personal mission to pamper them back into prosperity. This Friday I was able to pot up the first baby bunch of spiderettes, I saved the mother plant whose roots were completely rotten (she is now growing new ones all over!), my ZZs are finally getting the light they deserve, my completely neglected leggy pothos got cut up and is now rooting left and right, and the kalanchoe that should have crossed the river a solid year ago came back to life in water. You have given me the push I needed to take better care of my small indoor jungle, and it sparks so much joy in me now, I check every plant each morning and encourage them. And I'm certain I'm not the only one you're helping to heal with your posts. Thank you so much for sharing both your chaotic energy and your personal growth process. It really means a lot. 💚🌱
I completely relate to needing more space. Plants carry feeling and responsibility, which can be tiring if you’re surrounded by it all day. I think your plant room is so genius, you can go in whenever you want and leave the door closed when it’s too much. Grief is complex and invades all facets of our lives. Please take your time and take care of yourself. ❤️ I hope your pain eases soon.
No idea what you’re going thru in your personal life but this plant community LOVES YOUR CONTENT! YOU ARE AN AMAZING CREATOR and these long-form videos are wonderful. Keep ‘em coming. Your uploads are always a delight.
Your comment about something falling on you in your sleep reminded me of what happened to my brother. Back in the 80's ghetto blaster days my brother used to have music loud. There is a shelf that goes around the room where their beds were. Our cat decided to walk it during the night and stepped on the play button. The music blasted scared the cat who hit a globe that landed on my other brothers head. lol. Same brother also fell down stairs carrying cat and he left scratches all over his face. Bad luck.
It's okay to have days where you're not always upbeat. Sometimes we have to be sad a little to appreciate more the happy days and the little things in life that make us happy ❤️
Some days you win the race, some days you're just lucky to make it to the end. We all have those days, weeks, months... I really love this video especially because you are being real and showing that you cannot be high energy and up all the time. .. And that's perfectly fine and normal. I'll be over here with you just trying to make it through the day and do the things I can ❤
I lost my wife 18 months ago and noticed that going on trips by myself or doing bucket list items are usually followed by a new grief wave. I love your short videos, but your long videos have a different relaxing low-key vibe that works well too.
Yay!!! Love your long uploads 💚🪴🌵 ((and when you have sponsors💰)) *edit* I'm also trying to get organized to feel more calm... So sorry you're feeling like this. Sending happy thoughts/prayers 💚💚💚
@@PlantswithKrystal and I'm sure you know this because you said you were just over thinking but I think it needs to be said: these videos are NOT boring 💚💚💚 also I hope you're doing okay.
If you ask me, I love your long-form videos. I just very recently started getting into the plant hobby for about a month and a half now and I always have you running in the background while I'm going about my plant chores myself. Something about your videos makes doing plant chores something I want to do every day. I myself am the only one in my inner circle who cares for plants the way I do, so when having you play in the background, it keeps me company and secondly, I feel like I have a best friend who cares about plants just as much as I do. This is because when going into plants, you were the first person to pop up and I've always tagged you along with me on my plant journey. Thanks to you, I already have a small plant collection of 13 plants with one more on the way. I just wanted to thank you for introducing me to a world I never thought I'd get myself involved in.
I’ve been struggling with the death of my grandfather. His passing actually inspired my love for plants, because I wanted to keep a peace lily I got in his honor alive. I am so sorry for your loss, and I pray healing over you. I enjoy your upbeat and your low key videos! Hold your head high. Your light is shining brighter than you know!
Not even sure how I found this channel. I truly believe I’m a great plant mama! Reality is I kill half the plants I bring into my home. Your videos are great and have me laughing and crying. My word! Then I found out a little about your life. I lost my husband when I was very young, it’s been 15 years. My grieving muscles are a lot stronger and are still developing. I love your genuine expression of your emotion. I wish I had your openness a long time ago but am so grateful I found you at all. You’re such a great communicator. Thank you for letting so many people in your experiences and life.
Your voice, your attitude and your vibe are what I’m here for. Long or short, I’m here for it. And because of you, now I have a windowsill of plants. So far they haven’t died!
I would watch you paint a room!! hahah I like having videos like this on the background as I work on stuff on the side. Its calming and informative and it makes me feel like I'm not doing things alone at home. You just make videos however you want tho!
My peace lily is in water but it's blooming..also, my Alocasia Polly is blooming as well ...must be happy ..your plants are beautiful and Mr. Puppy is awesome
❤❤❤ I feel your pain My husband passed away in September 2023. It’s so difficult Thank you for sharing your love and happiness I find peace and comfort in you ❤
Krystal, watching this video I felt how lost and exhausted you were feeling, but noticed that taking care of your babies your spirits lifted a bit. You even laughed a bit! I love watching planty people sharing their maintenance plant chores. It never occurred to me to scrub the roots of plants growing in water. 🤦🏼♀️ So, thanks!! As for the window wall, if I had that glorious space I’d fill the wall with lush hanging plants and put up the optimal light system to make them happy. I wouldn’t want to cut the natural light from the window, but would cluster three or so larger plants directly in front of/under and just off center of the window. Hang in there darlin, and know you are loved by many!!
Dear Krystal, I am so sorry for your loss. Coming back to a quiet home is also an adjustment. Plants give many of us a purpose. I thoroughly enjoy your videos. 💕
I only recently found out that you were grieving and it shocked me! Your videos are always so happy and bubbly and they always cheer me up! I can’t believe how well you hold yourself and how strong you are with what you’ve been going through! Your long form videos are absolutely NOT boring.. if people think they are, just remember you make those videos for you ❤ Thankyou queen for showing up x
You are not boring at all. I appreciate that you’re real and sometimes that means post vacation blues. Totally normal. I love your content and I’ve learned so much. Thank you. ❤
Not boring!! When you go slower, you talk more about what you’re doing, the reasoning, the future for the plant. Good info, girl! Thank you! You’re such good company. 😄😃🌱🌵
As a women who lives in Indiana who needs some help when taking care of my plants, I love this. I'm doing my pkant chores and you are here with me it's nice.
You went on vaca I went and bought a beef! I think the low energy is from trying to not crawl into the comfy cozy sheets. I like chill and chat videos while I have tea its calming and also laughs..
I just came across your channel recently and it’s very comforting. Lately I’ve been too depressed to do literally anything at all. It gives me a little motivation when I see you pushing through! I’ll watch your videos no matter how low-energy you feel while filming ☺️
I Can feel you girl. I'm mourning the l'oss of my dog and it's been a year almost. If this house remember you too much that your beloved isn't here everyday maybe it's good to change house ? And actually go into therapy ? (But be carefull with the médications, even more if it contraint opium or stuffs like this.)
Time stamp 10:30. You said this type of video is boring. Idt it's boring. I love watching plant chore videos and listening to the plant enthusiast talk so passionately about their collection. Don't stress or down yourself hun. You are doing amazing!! I just know i speak for all your followers when I say: We love you and wish you all the best in the world. Sending lots of positive and healing vibes dear! 💝
UA-cam gods send this video my way today. Just came back from holidays and feeling really down, not ready to go back yet. Thank you so much, I feel less alone ❤
You just keep doing you, regardless of the thoughts creeping in about who won't watch or dislike etc.and so on. There are a lot more of us that will hang regardless of the feelings you're feeling . Real knows real and appreciates it, the fact that you tufted it out and finished the video shows how much heart you got.
Hey, Aoife from Dublin, Ireland here :) Your videos are never boring (ref you saying so in this video!) in fact I love the longer ones, very calming, relaxing and informative. hope you are doing ok.
It’s not boring, I wanna see you talk! Seriously these videos are the one positive thing I’m holding onto right now, I really appreciate you taking the time to share pieces of you with us❤Thank you and we love you
We are all here because we love your video's. We appreciate the time you take to share you info with us . I'm in a position that I can't have all the lovely plants right now so I live vicariously through yours . Keep the video's coming. 💚🌿🌱🍃
hello ❤ I recently followed you within the last month and the more you pop up on my youtube, well… how can I not love a video about plants? I appreciate your humor you bring into it too, you have my boyfriend and I cackling at times. I can tell you are such a genuine and amazing human and I just wanted to say thank you. I can relate to you in a lot of ways, one being how I can’t put anything above my bed in fear of an earthquake (in Iowa) turning me into a flat Stanley. Another being a close loss, I had lost my father a few years ago, which is actually what made me care about plants more than I did before (his peace lily gifted from hospice died almost a year ago from my failure of knowing how to take care of different types of plants). I just want to say I admire how open, honest, and strong you are. Thank you for letting me come on your plant journey and teach me things along the way! Me and my 77 plants (holy yikes I counted for you and I thought I had MAYBE 30… but propagations feel like an addiction at this point 🥹 even if I ran out of people to give them away to 😂) so thank you for all your tips and tricks! ❤️ sending much love and positive vibes to YOU 🥰
I’m a high energy, bubbly person- I am feeling down myself and when people like us who are used to that happy energy, on days we are down or don’t have that energy going thru us, it really throws us off…. At least for me.. and I am totally matching your energy right now, bc I’m going through some stuff as well… I love this video and feel like your a friend from afar- do you and be you, these videos are connecting us all in different ways- be real- that’s the best you can be!!! I pray each day the pain lessens and one day those memories that once were painful to think about, will be sweet memories and comforting- hang in there Krystal, you can do this 🩵🫶
I enjoyed the video, but I'm usually a low vibes person. I love seeing how others live, and your plants of course. Personally this many plants would be overwhelming for me, so take it easy. I especially loved the carnivorous plants! Take care and sorry for your loss 🌵🪴🌺💚🕊
I found you through UA-cam shorts, but I’m loving the longer videos! The shorts are fun, but these longer ones feel more personal and informational. I was wondering if you’ve ever considered doing an update video? Like updates on plants you’ve rescued and stuff that maybe goes more in depth than the shorts? Oooo or a video about plants you don’t vibe with? I love favorite plants videos, but I love it even more when creators talk about the beef they have with some plants haha
I missed this video when you posted it but today seems to be the day I needed to see it. Your honesty about what's happening in the moment is so generous and kind hearted. I appreciate seeing others going through the ups and downs of life. You help me feel more normal. ❤
i’ve had a stressful week and it’s not even over and i’ve had a stressful morning, i JUST sat down for breakfast and saw you uploaded, what a blessing 🥹
I’m grieving too. It sucks. I learned that it doesn’t go away. I just made room in my heart for it. I don’t know how many plants I have…maybe 100…inside and out. I enjoy your videos and you’ve helped me to not be afraid of looking at roots and cleaning them up. I think you’re very informative and a delight!!!! You have a good and soulful spirit.
We get the post vacay dumps when we get back from holidays, it’s like a mini depression that lasts about a week or so. But you do you, be yourself, we love you no matter what, all the parts of you. You know you don’t have to be high energy all the time. It just isn’t realistic ❤ oh and btw, you’re not boring, it’s like hanging with your bestie We’ve got those industrial looking rods over or near windows, I hang plants and lights for the plants on the rack underneath. They’re gorgeous as a part of our decor. We actually use the curtain rod on one window to hang lighter/smaller plants, works great, we never close the curtains so it works for me!
Love your videos by the way! You are real, relaxing, inspiring, motivating, hilarious, human, normal, ENOUGH! just do you and allow us to join you as you live! Keep on keeping on! Hoping you have a better day
Your feelings are completely normal. i constantly battle the maximalist and minimalist inside me 😊 It takes time and experiences in order to figure out what works best for you. Don't feel bad purging either, if you didn't go for the more in one area, you may have not realized the less is more lesson! Someone will always benefit from your overflow. You are loved girl. enjoy your time home and give that puppy a good squeeze for me! man he's cute!!
I love your personality. Had no idea you were dealing with grief. Thank you for making these videos. They feel so genuine and just good! I hope your videos are helping you as they are helping all of us in some way.
don´t worry about making every video entertaining or full of informations, just do what you want to do in your way. I enjoy some relaxing videos I can watch or listen to while maybe doing my own tasks, or just unwinding after a work day. And I´m sue there are a lot of other people thinking the same. Also, do a rod above the window and hang some plants, I have that and I love it. Afterwads you might be able to decide about the plants on the walls.
I love watching your videos. Not lying. It’s the best after a long crazy day at work to relax and just watch you tend to your plants. I have my house plant day on Sunday so I enjoy watching and learning about other house plants. For your window dilemma, in my laundry room, I have a tall narrow window. I bought a shelf made of three boards and rope. It fill the window perfect and I have all my tiny succulents and cacti on it for the best sun. But because they’re small, they don’t obstruct the view much. Just a thought. Hang in there girl.
You are amazing. Thank you for inviting us to your home. I love your shorts, but also, these ones, so much! I'm sorry you are feeling overwhelmed. I work with angelic messages and I would love to give you one as a gift if it resonates! Just tell me and I'd love to send you a message from your angels and guides. My name is Catalina, from Colombia. Sending you tons of love. You are what's right in the world. Don't forget it! Thank you for everything!
I love these long form videos, everything is so short nowadays which is why we always seem to be bored. But i recently took up houseplants as a hobby after having my baby and watching you has helped me try to slow down and regulate myself. Long form videos I feel like are so much better for your brain ! So you don’t need to overthink it, it’s hard to find good UA-camrs that are real and make slower and calmer content
I loved this video so much. Thank you Krystal. I lost my Dad a month ago at 93. His birthday is June 5. I’m so grateful that you showed up in my feed about 4 months ago. I love plants and I love your puppy. I have a 2 year old mini dachshund, Ella. I lost my Mom in 2012. Grief affects everyone in their lives and I so appreciate you. I LOVED the short of your friends taking you to the capybaras. I love them too. It had me googling to find out where I could find some to interact with in Western Canada. Love you and your content! 💕🇨🇦
Omg I know this video was so long ago but just know you, your beautiful energy and sense of humor calm me in a way I cannot express. Sending you loving and healing energy and I hope you continue to make more laid back videos like this! ❤
Thank you for sharing this video. I often shame myself for having low days. It’s reassuring to know I’m not the only one. ❤️ This was very calming to watch.
Post holiday blues are the worst I find I fall into a slump after I’ve been away somewhere but to me that usually indicates I haven’t been looking after myself and the holiday was more needed than I realised. That feeling that hits when you get home usually prompts me to have plenty of rest and self care 😊
I do love your longer videos, you could be watching paint dry and I would watch right along with you 😉 Think everyone is the same when they come back from a holiday, know I used to hate it cause the reality of life smacks you right between the eyes. Stay strong girl you got this 🤗🌱💚
I recently started watching your channel, Krystal. I saw a shorts of you saving orchids and then started to watch your shorts one by one. Then I decided to watch long videos and I absolutely love them.
I loved just watching you do your daily tasks, your presence and love for your plants is relaxing. Please keep it up 🌱💚 but also take care of yourself firstly !
Hugs from Texas❤ You have a generous, loving spirit girl. So many wonderful things are in store for you. I often talk myself through rough days just to stay sane. ❤
I'm glad you're showing your authentic self, no need to always be high energy or feel the need to entertain people, you being you is more than enough ❤
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and attitude and for showing and talking about what things are really like. I'm a newbie to plants and your videos help me believe in myself being able to 'do it' - whether it's keeping my small handful of plants alive, or taking care of myself when basic tasks seem impossible. You are surviving an extremely difficult time, and I think that is commendable and anything beyond that, like 'acting high-energy' or 'bouncing back', is a bonus, and not an expectation you have to meet. Sending you love and blessings.
Please do more videos like this. Some of us are lonely and it makes us feel like we have a friend with us during the day ❤
You’re so kind 💚 I definitely will. Thank you!!!
@@PlantswithKrystal it's definitely lovely, I might play this again later while I try to clean my room

Sweetie, you are not boring. You hang in there. Your energy always impresses me.
Believe me we talk to ourselves as we take care of our plants. You’re just doing it on camera!!
That’s something to get used to on my end for sure!
These are my favourite type of long form plant content, love seeing how people do things differently to me around the house 😅
Thank you so much!!!! I love to see some new blooms!
❤❤❤
I feel your pain
My husband passed away in September 2023.
It’s so difficult
Thank you for sharing your love and happiness
I find peace and comfort in you ❤
Krystal, watching this video I felt how lost and exhausted you were feeling, but noticed that taking care of your babies your spirits lifted a bit.
Krystal we are right here with you for both the good days and the not so good days. Just be you. Thats why we are here.
It truly isn’t boring I love these type of videos it’s so peaceful and real ❤
I dont think your videos are boring at all, i had a rough day and watching this is making me feel alot better ❤
This was honestly extremely relaxing to watch. I like how you are so familiar with each plant, and know exactly what each one needs.
Your Real about who you are ~Sad or Happy. It’s real.
My depression knows me too well, these videos help many of us. Thank you
I’m grieving too.
It just isn’t realistic ❤ oh and btw, you’re not boring, it’s like hanging with your bestie
We’ve got those industrial looking rods over or near windows, I hang plants and lights for the plants on the rack underneath. They’re gorgeous as a part of our decor. We actually use the curtain rod on one window to hang lighter/smaller plants, works great, we never close the curtains so it works for me!
Your videos are awesome NOT boring. We all have those moments. Happy planting!
I left my thanksgiving cactus outside and it is getting so cute and bright green. I feel the same with clutter in the bedroom.
I love that you are showing us real life. The coke down from vacation is always so odd on top of life just continuing on.
This was really nice, I relate a lot. I'm grieving for my mum so it's nice to watch someone like me. Dogs and plants are my favourite distractions
This wasn't boring at all! You're lovely and your videos are very relaxing and fun.
No where near boring, fun to hang out. I did some plant chores myself while watching. ✨
Post holiday blues are the worst I find I fall into a slump after I’ve been away somewhere but to me that usually indicates I haven’t been looking after myself and the holiday was more needed than I realised. That feeling that hits when you get home usually prompts me to have plenty of rest and self care 😊
Definitely needed a lot of self care after this one 💚
I do love your longer videos, you could be watching paint dry and I would watch right along with you 😉
Think everyone is the same when they come back from a holiday, know I used to hate it cause the reality of life smacks you right between the eyes.
Please keep it up 🌱💚 but also take care of yourself firstly !
i LOVE your videos. whether you are bouncing off the walls or more subdued, your presence is very comforting and i also learn so much!
Hugs from Texas❤ You have a generous, loving spirit girl. So many wonderful things are in store for you. I often talk myself through rough days just to stay sane. ❤
Post vacation blues are a real thing for many people.
I'm glad you're showing your authentic self, no need to always be high energy or feel the need to entertain people, you being you is more than enough ❤
Krystal I think those floating bookshelves with trailing plants would look amazing 🤩😍
