Of course some plants are going to die, it's part of the natural way don't worry about it.

Not only are you knowledgeable, but, your personality just radiates! You are such a joy! I always look forward to seeing anything you post. Blessings and all the best. Thanks and praise from Peterborough Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 ♥️

AWW lol, the way you reacted to the Aloe pup, SO ADORABLE and I LOVE Aloes!! I have the Red Maranta and almost lost her to spider mites, but now she's thriving by my Southeast-facing window!! Also, your Trandescandia is GORGEOUS!! I constantly have to trim mine!!❤
I got a bunch of different sansevieria early this year with some rare ones and now they are getting pups and I react in the same way. Every pup it's like "Hey Baby, welcome to the World" 😂
Maybe when you cut back the Zabrina you can put out or gift some good clumps of cuttings for the your friends and family and maybe even do a community box to spread her beauty and love ❤
Shoutout from india to all tropical plant lovers. I cant beleive how hard it is to have a tropical plant collection in countries where you have harsh winters and low humidity like yours. Kudos to you. Here, almost all of them grow like weeds. Except calatheas. They are evil everywhere in the world 😂
Over 3 months ago I rescued an Alocasia Polly. Root root was setting in and I couldn’t let that happen. Took her home and when repotted, 9 corms fell off. Thought what the heck, never tried before so let’s give it go! Using shot glasses and chocolate boxes I now have 9 grand-Alocasias (all corms grew 😱) and mom has 2 brand new, beautiful leaves. ❤️❤️
My favorite plant was a mango plant my daughter started fom a seed. One day we found an old hummingbird resting on it. We had to leave the mango plant behind when we moved for a year out of state. He did not survive😢 Will reattempt soon❤
Lol I hear ya! My favs change from month to month, I had no idea it would change, it was my Hoya carnosa compacta last month, now it’s my Alocasia Cuprea!
Well i had a long ass comment and well i lost it all. Lol Krystal, I just want to thank you. Thank you for sharing your plants, your experiences and just to show us that we too can rescue plants. After watching your first reel, which was (well honesty i cant remeber) but ever since then, I've learnt so much from you and what to look for when i rescue a plant. Even empty thos self watering vases lol. When you talk about a certain plant like the split rocks, ill keep an eye out when i go out. Now i have 6 split rocks! I've also propagated every plant i have, or trying too. Lol I can go on and on, and want to send you a picture of all of my plants, I've even given some of my rescues to a friend of mine who wanted a plant or two but afraid that she would kill them. But after i tell her what I've learnt from you, we compare our plants like theyre our kids. Please don't stop sharing your knowledge, your smile, and energy. Thank you!!! ❤
@@PlantswithKrystal Hoyas are just great. They do well outside if you got a north facing side of your house. Also, you strike me as a Vanda kinda girl. They can be held in... hold your breath.... VASES! :D
I fell in love with coleus the first time I saw it. Planted them in ground and boy did they grow quickly. Still have cuttings from my original ones. 🥰😍
You are just a doll, smart & sassy!! I completely empathize with your plant addiction - I'm right there with you. Currently living in Texas (hey, we had a great spring!), and staying in Long Island for 2 wks - so green & beautiful !😊😊❤
Ive been waiting for your upload. I just got a ponytail palm and tradescantia and was soooo happy about them. I wish i could find a huge ponytail like you have.
I remember watching your video when you bought the tradescantia zebrina. I live in sunny hot weather climate and I found that the zebrina grows easily. It thrives if exposed to the sun; it thrives if it's only in shades. It doesn't mind being overwatered or underwatered. It doesn't care whether fed tap water or rain water. This is a really easy going plant. I personally like it leggy, not bunched up in a bushy manner; it makes it easier to water. I first started following you on youtube shorts but glad you're posting longer videos. I love the way you arrange your plants in your home.
I love your long form content even more than I love your shorts, Krystal. 😊 My newest plant that I'm obsessed with is a Ficus Audrey. We had problems with pests the first month that I had her, but thanks to you I didn’t feel so overwhelmed when it came to treating them. We are both doing well now. Thanks for all you do, girlie! ❤
I loooove my alocasia polly. I recently picked up house plants after my husband gifted me an orchid because it was "easy to take care of and only needs 3 ice cubes a week." I did a ridiculous amount if research here and now i own a small mammoth sunflower patch still growinf befire bloom, my alocasia polly im in love with, two golden pothos, a baby monstera deliciosa i rescued from marketplace, and a polka dot plant. Today i noticed the monstera has a new leaf starting and i was ECSTATIC! after rescuing a dying monstera who wasnt living in water or soil when i picked her up and battling gnats, shes having a new leaf 🥺. Im the proudest plant mama today too!
HEY!! I’m in Indiana too. In the winter, I bring my plants inside and put them by windows and/or under plant lights in different spots around my house. I have way too many plants (my sister says my house looks like Jumanji) so I give a bunch away but I try to keep a small version of most of them.
I started with a small zebra inch plant and used cutting to make a bunch more! It roots SUPER quickly (hence the nickname inchplant) Now I give friends little baby ones. So pretty with the purple undersides and silver stripes.
Thank you so much for mentioning where you live. I wish everyone who does videos about caring for plants would do the same. I live in south Texas which so many of the growers don’t mention the difference in the weather influences for their tips. I used to live in the Seattle Washington area where almost anything would grow. Not true in south Texas. Also I love your emotional presentations. Thanks for being yourself.
My current fave is my phalaenopsis. She was drowning at the store so I rescued her a few months ago, and now SHE'S BLOOMING I'M SO SO HAPPY!! I think she's white, we'll see (btw at first I wouldn't buy her, you inspired me to try the rescue thing and now I love it) 💚💚

Of root growth and someone took it or threw it away 😭 and I was so excited to try my first propagated plant and try and move it into dirt and now it's gone

Yay!!! I love that you decided making this video, the succulents & cacti 🌵 one would be great too! I have the last one you showed under indirect sunlight, it's fragile and growing not too much. I will try not to let the soil dry completely and give her some direct sunlight during some part of the day. Cheers!
