I can't tell you how much confidence you have given me with my plants. I love doing plant chores whilst watching you, and the impact on my mental health that having the plants has had is amazing. Thank you 😊
That’s so exciting for you! I was a new mom this spring too!! Remember someone has to watch over them while away from home, it’s like having pets! Lol I’m blessed I found a plant lady that does vacay care while we’re gone to Hawaii to get married! 40$/hr! Should be under 160$ for the trip with 100 plants I think!
I love seeing you try new things (like drilling that big hole) as it gives me the confidence to try those types of things myself. Thanks for sharing your struggles, not just the successful end result! 🤗
Krystal.. ❤ your videos. I send them to my daughter all the time. Because you always seem to make me laugh even when I don’t feel like laughing. You are so cute and funny. And laughter is therapy. So you give me free therapy. Thank you so much.!
I started to watch your channel today and I’ve been watching all your films twice, because the way you talk about plant and your emotions makes me feel really nice and calm. And a new video, today - this day couldn’t get any better 😊 Thank you and take care!
Your personality is THE BEST, love you so much Krystal, we’d be besties for SURE Omgosh those shelves!!! I don’t have a cabinet but I’d find a way to set them up on my windows!!!
Thank you for always being a real one. Your videos and short-form content make so much feel attainable, especially for someone like me who has tons of anxiety.
Unlike many influencers these days, you actually show me how you too struggle with hole saws and spray painting. You make me feel not so inferior, because I go through the same things know what I mean? Thank you for keeping it realistic, it makes me love myself more
Thank you I was so scared of my plants dying I was ALWAYS checking on my plants and EAPESILY my monstra tie con I was always washing my leaves and wiring but you taught me that they are sturdy little guys and they will be fine 😊❤ like my propagation plants I am always worried about them dying, but your here just forgetting about them 😂thank you. You taught me all I know I really appreciate you ❤
Just have to say you started my monstera obsession (and plant love) and I just got one of my dream plants, a monstera thai constellation. Love your videos and my new hobby you helped inspire🧡
Very nice indeed Krystal. You are truly an inspiration to me in terms of getting things done yourself, being adventurous and brave in trying new things. Love love love those shelves in your cabinet...so pretty! Thanks for sharing this makeover with us. 🥰
I love ur videos!!!!!! I can keep rewatching them over and over again especially when I’m having a ruff day!!! 😂 but I do get the itch to go get clearance plants and baby them!!!❤
I have had to google so much "How to" since my husbands passing It has not been easy ( I loath putting things together) But I know he would be proud of all the things I have had to do and learn as I am sure your husband is so proud of you Love your channel Its my favorite (:
Google has been my best friend during this time and building as well. We got this 💪🏽. I’m so sorry for your loss as well Lisa. Huge hugs to you and thank you so much for your kindness!
Seeing you google how to use a hole saw made me laugh because that's exactly what I had to do. My set came with no instructions and I had no idea how to attach it to the drill. Trouble is, my memory is so bad that I'll have to google it again if I need to drill another hole. I have fully fitting safety goggles that I bought to use with my garden shredder. They are great for this sort of thing, and for using alcohol inks, but they get mostly when I'm chopping onions because they save so much pain and tears. You need fans in an enclosure but they help to reduce the humidity - as I know from my terrariums - and it can be tricky to get right. I love what you've done with the cabinet though, it looks fabulous. Now going shopping for a light meter. 😁
"you know that chair"- Me, staring at my set of kitchen chairs in my bedroom, all of which are holding the most plants they possibly can: hehehe i so want these little cabinets, but what i really need is a fat sturdy aquarium rack that i can just stick plants throughout>,>
It's ok 😂 my immature mind went there and giggled a ton. Lots of that's what she said, and he said, popped up in my head 🤷♀️🤦♀️🤣 I absolutely love the shelves you added they're so freaking cute 😍
Your excitement is so cute! I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets silly about this kind of stuff. I wish I had another room to devote to my plants. I have a craft room (9'x10') but that's not even big enough for the craft stuff, so I can only have a few plants in there with me. My dining room is the main plant space because the double "east" facing window. It's a disaster right now due to battling thrips :(
Have been following you on insta for a while. Love when you do these 'long form' videos too! You are my plant mom big sister and I have many happy plants now thanks to you ❤
Anyone who gets the rudsta wide (I think here is a rudsta tall) you don't need to drill a hole there's a gap in the top where the cords fit if you place them before closing the bar. Just an fyi. Also I never used humidifier in mine and my plants have been fine. But I don't have anything too picky I don't think.
Thanks for sharing with us your useful information and trying new things alsl you're so funny girl. Iam watching your channel from the beginning. Please bring us more videos. It is so relaxing and love to see your plants 🪴 take care 🙂 💕 🌵 🌿 🍁
I recently drilled a ho-le in a cabinet and I had a similar experience with it taking forever. That ho-le just would not finish. Btw, instead of hand turning the loosener/tightener (yeah nobody taught me the words either) you can push the little button to reverse the direction of the drill, and power the drill, while holding onto the loosener/tightener thingy, and it will loosen or tighten faster with the power coming from the drill.
What I have learned from the comment section from another youtuber who used a hole saw (haha) was that corded drills are much stronger and go through quicker! So, it's not you, it's your drill.
The only reasons, I can think of, that took you so long to cut the hole are wrong hole saw for metal and should of used a little cutting oil to keep the bit cool. However, you got it cut, and that's all that matters. I love your enthusiasm and videos. Keep it up❤!!!
Is mid 80s for humidity too high for a grow cabinet? My usually fluctuates between 85 and mid 90s if I leave it sealed up, so I usually tend to crack the zippers open about 30% on each side to let of the moisture out.
Have you considered installing mirrors on 2 sides of the cabinet? Might help reflect light back at the plants near bottom shelves if they love direct light. Also, could you do a video including aesthetically hiding cords? 🙈
Can you please give me some info about your fans and magnets and maybe where you purchased them at? I don’t use cabinets at all but I think they would look perfect for each of my plant rooms for decent airflow, I think 🤔 Thanks, Ginger from Indiana
I’ll say they’re also a great idea if you have cats and still want plants that are poisonous to them. I don’t have a cabinet yet but I have set up a few boxes in my big ikea bookcase that are for a similar purpose.
I really enjoy watching your videos your personally is awesome. You Crack me up😂. I love plants but I'm a beginner . I think if you made a video of the process of growing plants in water from early stage. Also transferring water plants to soil. And the process of soil plants transfer to water.. All my attempts so far had failled and I know I'm not the only one. Also it would be great to knows which plants are better grown in water, which plants are not ect. I would definitely be interested.
I’ve a question please could you tell how to propagate with clay balls? Im loosing a lot of my plants so I’m trying to propagate them. Thank you for all you do to help newbie’s like me.
Hi Krystal! I know this video is slightly old but I just recently bought a new rudsta tall. I already have 2 Rudsta wides but needed a 3rd, of course lol anyways I was wondering did you use barrina T5’s in these? And if so how many did you attach to the top of it when you mentioned in the video it was about 2000 foot candles?
So many kudos for normalizing the running of a Google search to learn a new skill!! Yessss!
I can't tell you how much confidence you have given me with my plants. I love doing plant chores whilst watching you, and the impact on my mental health that having the plants has had is amazing. Thank you 😊
That makes me so happy! I’m honored to be a part of your plant journey 🫶🏽

Yay!!!! Thank you 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
You can get some pegboard hooks with the pegboard baskets. So you can put plants in them. Then hook them to the back of your cabinet. 🌱😊♥️🌻
I love how relatable this video is. You had a plan but still had to stop & figure things out. Life is never effortless.
6:45 OMG THANK GOD YOU TOLD ME. I’m about to do this!!! I thought it’d be two minutes lol

I just love watching you ❤. Thank you for the videos and helping us all become plant parents. I hope you are well.
Your voice is just soooo nice. Your quiet enthusiasm like at 5:50 gives me so much joy without hurting my ears haha
Yay! Thank you! I’ve mastered the art of a whisper scream 😂
I love your personality! Feel so safe watching you! ☺️
You are just so darn much fun to watch! I have a crap ton of plants, primarily orchids, but truly watch you for the entertainment. 😅
Love it. Love the shelves too and your funny faces. You lift my spirits.
Thank you so much! I love it so much more now.

Absolutely beautiful. Just in love with how tranquil and elegant the look is. ❤
I am just procrastinating with doing my homework cracking up listening to you.🤣
Omg I've never laughed so hard during a plant video 😂😂 Once you started the hole saw my mind went to the gutter too lol
I always get so excited when I see your new videos!!!
I wanna try to transform a set of lockers into something like this! Excited to try it out

My boyfriend would be very proud of you for using your safety glasses 😂
So many metal shards flying, safety glasses were super important!

Looks fantastic! I just went shopping on Plant Story and now have to make an IKEA run 😂😂. Nice work!

Just love watching, love your sense of humor. This could go really good or really bad, either way Thanks for watching, 😂❤❤
You need your own line of self watering, low maintenance planters, pots, etc
That’s a dream! I would love that!
It turned out beautiful!
It's ok 😂 my immature mind went there and giggled a ton. Lots of that's what she said, and he said, popped up in my head 🤷♀️🤦♀️🤣 I absolutely love the shelves you added they're so freaking cute 😍

First!!! Yay!! Here for it on a Sunday morning - PLANTS 🌱
Hello!!! Thank you for being here!
I’m here for whenever you upload!! Those shelves!!! I must have them now!!! 🌱
Baby girl, I use spag moss and put a layer on top for humidity it does help 😘😘😘😘
I love watching your content. You are amazing and beautiful.

Great tutorial, Krystal. Now i know how to use a hole saw. Nice job on your cabinet. Can i ask where you got the wall shelf?
Love it looks great ❤

Thank you, yes! It’s all linked in the description for you.
I’ll say they’re also a great idea if you have cats and still want plants that are poisonous to them. I don’t have a cabinet yet but I have set up a few boxes in my big ikea bookcase that are for a similar purpose.
That lamp in the back 😂
My BEDROOM is a freaking cabinet at this point 😅
Happy Thanksgiving
Would love if you can talk about products you use like your light monitor thingy.
👍 I love it 🌼❣️🌼
I love you!
So how many plants do you have in your home? Im up to 29 plants and I just really enjoy this hobby!! Love your videos!!
I use my plant cabinet to keep the toxic plants away from my cats. 😂
That’s a great idea! Those kitties are so nosey.
I really enjoy watching your videos your personally is awesome. You Crack me up😂. I love plants but I'm a beginner . Please can we have more info on power supply/ cord organization?
My light chords are out of control 😅
Just in case!: if those peg boards are the ikea ones, I’ve heard from fair few sources that mold quite easily! Be weary
Would be cute to have a little mini self contained waterfall down on the bottom instead of pebble tray.
Go ahead
I think clear silicon for the gaps
Krystal how can you find a good grow light for plants? Like what do you look for? X
I’ve a question please could you tell how to propagate with clay balls? Im loosing a lot of my plants so I’m trying to propagate them. Thank you for all you do to help newbie’s like me.
Do you have a video on your grow light system?
My new friend!!!

What are foot-candles? I’m a novice , love the succulents.
Do you grow Christmas cactus? Any tips?
🖤
Could you put link where you got your shelves. Thanks
What about open shelves but add a humidifier in the room.
❤️🍀
KRYSTAL! I really need your help. I have two inherited beautiful plants that all of a sudden after years of me having them are falling apart!
You may have had your drill going the wrong direction :)
❤❤
Hello What color light do you use for the plants at home please?
Krystal how do I stop my hoya from growing? I need help hun 😢
Am I the only one who doesn't like the look of plants inside a cabinet?
I completely understand that.
