Good job! I thoroughly enjoyed watching you repot into cool containers. I hope you enjoy growing plants and have success with it. I'm retired perennials nursery woman. In our long winters im enjoying indoor gardening w my house plants. Kokedama is so varied. I love that moss style instead of the jute wrap!
🎖️Your repots are the best. I totally agree with you that the pot needs to be the right design for the plant. I shy away from boring pots unless it’s a succulent that calls for terracotta to thrive.
When I cant fall asleep I listen your long plant care videos ( also I obviously watch it later because everything is so interesting) and take a fat nap. Ily benji ! Thank you for making amazing videos.
Thank you for being an inspiration for all of us! We love you, Benji!🤍 I love how your videos transmits peace, calm and happiness. Also demonstrates to us how we can enjoy and how significant and important are the smallest things that lives give us. I have so many plants at home and you have been an inspiration to take care of them more and more. Thank you Benji! Keep going, you are doing a great job! I hope this year, can be a great year to you, your partner and your family. God bless you and your projects! 🤍
can't believe this is 30 mins video. It's a real pleasure. watching your vid while having dinner. this sooth my soul. I wish I can have houseplants again. Thank you for the video!
these repotting videos are my absolute favourites!!! i mean all your videos are wonderful but these are just pure magic ✨💖✨ i think it was on the last one of these that i first had the strong flashback to bob ross' joy of painting, and this one has confirmed it even more 😊 and i really mean this in the most loving way btw, like you're not copying him or something mundane like that, just that you naturally have that same kind and thoughtful and self-aware vibe. like you're his reincarnation or something (i personally don't believe in that, but i do enjoy the concept as a thought experiment) 🙏 and i think you're spot on about making them especially immersive. it works so well that i was kind of sad how short it was but even had a similar moment to last time, where i got so involved that i almost started talking to the screen at one point 😂 this time it was the moment when you thought about putting mineral dressing on the money plant instead of moss and i was like "noooooi please no!" because even though i had just noticed how the arrangement was very tone in tone, it was so strangely perfect that the idea of changing it almost hurt me physically 😅 luckily it was just a short moment and then you saw it too ❤
Looking forward to you selling the moss on your site. I will definitely purchase this for exactly the reason you show in your videos... to grow and use as a top dressing. Thanks for sharing!
I'm so excited to hear that you'll be selling the passiflora again. I fell in love with them so much that about a year and a half ago I purchased one from you and it became my favorite plant in my collection. I didn't even have it for a year before I experienced some major health and mental health issues and struggled to keep up with the care of my plants. Unfortunately the passiflora was one of the ones I lost during that time. Since, I've only managed to find one local seller who sold me a passiflora obcordata (i think), but I haven't seen any colinvauxii. Can't wait to hopefully have another chance with one!
long videos are my faves!! insane video idea: make a 12 hour video CCTV style of yall just chilling doing plantss watching TV doing everyday things and the camera is just stationary at the corner of the ceiling filming everything. do this on your channel anniv or something on a special day haha just a thought!
I really enjoy your video ❤ you inspire me to create plant aesthetics for my home, yesterday I also created a kokedama and a hanging planter of a snake plant.
Hi there Benji, Loved your presentation on plants, so interesting. Sad to say, I dont have a green thumb. I've even killed cactus, geesh! Now my Mom on the other hand was really terrific with her flowers, fruit trees & veggies. She'd be proud to see her garden 2day since I hired a Gardner🌳🌿☔☀️ Till your next video, have a fun week!
Lovely video. My favorite is the orchid. I love the contrast between the industrial vibe of the cage with the quintessential beauty and delicatness of the orchid - and I love the off-set. I have a ledebouria. I dont remember where I got it. I planted it in the ground in shade, and it was very happy, but other plants were crowding it. I moved it to an old basting pan (with holes), "temporarily", where it has been living for years now 😂. It's still quite happy, has grown to fill the pan, and puts out a trove of blooms. Wonderful work. Here's to some clear skies! 🍻 from Ventura county 😊
Recommendation: The bulbous plant with spotted leaves is a succulent type plant, so I'd wait until you get dark pebbles. Otherwise, you could end up with rotten bulbs.
I have a Sanseveria collection on one side of my house and the structure and texture of that Hohenbergia really has my interest peaked in finding one online to order. The Money tree planter reminds me of a K-drama I watched last year where the giant tree ontop of a hill in the village was the pride of their town. I'm intested in a followup of that once you get it filled with the moss.
Hey Benji, I love your videos, mate! One thing you might not have realised regarding Paph care (the slipper orchid). They require hard water, so the combination with moss might not be ideal. Also, they are terrestrial and need to be berried deeper than phalaenopsis, for example and don't require much ventilation to the roots, and they prefer to stay moist. The third thing is, despite being monopodial, the fans are still prone to rotting. I would avoid spraying the leaves with water as the plant can easily rot and die. Ventilation can help to a degree but better safe than sorry. I must say, I too became a fan of moss after watching your videos. I even use cuttings from my aquariums and place java moss, flame moss etc in small bows. It's very easy to look after and makes for cool arrangements.
Thank you that’s great to know! I was just going to treat it like all my other orchids I’ve had but this is good info. I’ll probably end up removing the moss and using a lava rock top dressing instead so I can water with tap water.
I think if you put a rock or little stack off rocks in the orchid pot it would not only bring balance to the offset orchid, but you could also bring the texture of the rocks in the cage up to the top as well. Just my thoughts.
Benji, despite being so young, what made you decide to do a YT channel w/such a chill vibe? Are you just an old soul, or is this just in line with the life you're hoping to build for yourself?
You might wanna consider a mesh layer between a pumice/lava rock drainage base and your organic soil so the soil doesnt eventually work its way into the drainage. It's common practice in the terrarium hobby
You have such a refined sense of aesthetics 👌 I really like top dressings, but how do you know it's time to water without feeling the substrate? I'd be concerned that I might be watering too soon.
theo watching you through the window in the back 😭😭😭💗
🤣🤣🤣❤
He’s the cutest 💙
I love being able to hear the ambient natural sounds and the crunching of your jacket. Feels like we are there with you 🌱
except for the sniffs. love the content and i know i shouldn't react so badly but i can't bear it 🤧 love your work though - hanky up the sleeve!
If you know you shouldn’t react so badly, then don’t. Be kind. To yourself and others.
This is such a simple pleasure and it sounds like a great plan. 🫶🙌
I enjoy the more casual plant care videos too. Nature is messy. I never understood why people try to pretend it's something it's not.
you wouldn't believe my excitement when a 30 minute vlog popped up in my recommended. watching this as I eat lunch. perfect combo
Everyone quiet my favorite show just started ❤
i love that Theo is always in the background when you use this shot. It brings me a great deal of joy
Your voice is so calming. I could listen to you all day. You help me destress watching your videos. 😊😊

The money tree planter would be so good with a miniature home/village/ world display! Love your vibe and videos!
The little dog in the background is too cute for words.
I feel like Theo, watching and wishing I could join you.
Benji posts videos always precisely when I need a moment of quiet. Thank you for another wonderful and insightful plant video ~ 🌿
Just by looking at the portion of your home in the background can already tell how cozy your it is inside…

I see you Theo, haha. That is one beautiful Money Tree! Such a thick trunk! I still don't know how I killed mine. All of these plants are so lovely.

you have such a soft voice. it makes me feel calm. Loved the set up.
🎖️Your repots are the best. I totally agree with you that the pot needs to be the right design for the plant. I shy away from boring pots unless it’s a succulent that calls for terracotta to thrive.
I love how you work your magic matching your plants with your beautiful pots 😊
My days get better when you post ❤

Ojalá todos los muchachitos fueran como tú, haciendo el bien, echando pa delante
I would have been nervous to repot the slipper Orchid while it's blooming but the cage planter is everything! ❤
Your pot-paring videos are so inspiring. Tnx!

How are you able to pick your favorite? When all the repotted plants are art works!!! ❤👍🏻
You have such a refined sense of aesthetics 👌
I really like top dressings, but how do you know it's time to water without feeling the substrate? I'd be concerned that I might be watering too soon.
Can't wait for the new tour!! 🤩
