I absolutely love my 07 warrior. The most versatile bike i know. Ive seen some who have completely transitioned to a bagger with fairings, engine guards and hard bags, all the way to cafe racers! Lots of get up and go, and fun & easy to work on and modify
I have a 06, had it for over 12 years now. Absolutely love it. Currently on the fence about selling it tho, cuz I picked up a street glide 3 yrs ago, and don't necessarily need 2 bikes, but the warrior is a beast, and fun to ride. Thanks foe the video
I have been blessed with the opportunity to buy and resale used Motorcycles, and I have had two different warrior XV 1700. Traded one of them for a Suzuki M109R2 and just sold the other one about a month ago. Those bikes are extremely fun to ride, and surprisingly more powerful than I expected. The two I had was 2002 models, and if I could afford to pick 5 bikes out of the 20 to 25 that I have had this year" one would be a 2002 Yamaha warrior xv1700 we named the Gray Ghost. That bike was super nice! As a matter of fact I traded it even money for a Suzuki M109R2, and turned around and sold it for $7,500 dollars. I think I had $1,500 in the Warrior so I had to do it.

I had this bike for many years UNTIL.... Loved it so much. The ergos aren't the best after a couple hours, but for the Sunday beach cruise or quick canyon run they are epic fun. By the way, the fuel tank isn't the biggest. You get about 110 miles out of it .. riding the bike the way it's meant to. And that means a fill up 1-2 times/wk. And... there is no fuel gauge which is why i know exactly how far before a fill up. Great bike for what it does best.
I own that movie, I only watched it once, but I actually really enjoyed it, my wife was watching something else on her iPad , but I didn't care. I'm just here warming up my brand new endorsement on my license because of you! The course in South Florida was really, really hot, I almost used bad words against you when doing those cones! Since you're a dealer, you can get wholesale pricing. I've never ever seen these bikes go less the $7grand. They are nice. Too bad they're not made anymore and like used H.D. it's next to impossible to get a bike that's not been trashed out in some way. This one here is the right color too. Same with the M109R LTD.
Finally singled across this channel. Watched bike and beards (too much) until I noticed I was letting my life slip away. Recently picked up an '04 V Star 1100, one owner, clean, some (much) assembly required basket case. Got the engine together, installed, valves checked, just got the parts and cleaned/assembled carbs today (a few weeks late- it snows here) can't wait till spring. I wanna ride out east to check out your shop and say hi.

You get the idea and the weight categories are easily found online so anyone else who asks can be pointed to the same data with no added effort or wasted time on your part.
If you liked the Warrior you should look at the Yamaha Raider it came after the Warrior in 08'-17' 1854cc/113ci 99hp/85hp to the wheel, 240mm stock rear wheel that you can throw a 250mm with no mods, 40 degree total rake, with 4.2 gal gas tank, with up angle gas tank so basically a Yamaha Chopper. You can get them on CycleTrader.com new old stock as old as 14' for about $12K with no miles never tilted, (new old stock).
Depends on what he liked about the warrior, it is hands down the best cornering cruiser ever made, by virtue of being fairly tall and having a sportbike rear tire.
Yamaha makes a goodbike... I started riding again when I hit 50 and started on 650 and months later 950 and then the Stryker and now my Raider...love this bike.
Lol I had the exact same experience with my warrior. Even had a batwing and bags on it. Traded it for a ktm 1290 super adventure.. Which was too good somehow. Sold it, got a stratoliner. It's got the feel I wanted 👌 The motor of the warrior, but some touring ability
I traded for a 05 Yamaha Warrior and it's a blast , I usually ride super sports and this isn't that but what i like is cruising @ 65 mph on the freeway and gassing it she pulls impressively and fairly comfortable ride .
Yeah i ways wanted a Yamaha cruiser, really good bikes. But man 1600 cc is still a lot of bike I'm my opinion, I have a Honda fury and it has plenty of power. The Harleys are much heavier for their size in comparison to Japanese cruisers and have more power generally but I'm sure the vstar and road star bikes have a lot of pull especially if they have belt instead of shaft drive. Aloha from Hawaii, wish we had a dealership like yours out here.
I'm usaully not minding stopping every couple of hours to stretch & fuel. Warriors were never meant for cross country cruising. Love it on a day ride and a adult beverage with friends...
Hi Sean, those are Great looking Bikes. I think the only reason people sell them, is because they wanted a Harley and couldn’t afford one. So they get this Bike and Ride it around a few Thousand Miles and sell it because it’s not a Harley. If you had louder Pipes and could blind fold someone and let them Ride it( I know they can’t Ride blindfolded). But they probably couldn’t tell the difference. There’s nothing wrong with Riding a V Twin that’s not a Harley.👍👍by the way Sean. I think it’s great that you read the Words of Wisdom before each Ride. I’ve got to make it a Habit of Praying and giving Thanks before each Ride. You’re setting a Great example for everyone Sean.👍❤️
I looked at one in 2004, a leftover and it would have been a good deal at the time but the factory muffler was HUGE. It looked like it could have been used as conduit for roadside drainage. It totally turned me off to the bike. I bought the YZF600R instead and loved it.
Hey Shaun, you totally got me back into riding.... had a kid - got a busy job and I let my old bike rot for 6 years - now I need to rebuild it... been watching your channel for 3 days - weather is warming up... pulled the trigger on a cheap Vulcan 1500 in great shape. Your test drives have reminded me what it is like being out there enjoying the ride - the air, the smells, the growl of a good set of pipes and of course the fun. Thanks man!
A have a '98 Vulcan 1500 Classic -- it was my first bike and I love it (cost me $3k private party, then another 1k in repairs to the electrical and clutch). The torque is amazing and I like the heft but due to the age and some questionable aftermarket mickey-mousing by the previous owner its not reliable. So I also recently bought an '05 Honda Shadow 750 for $3500, which isn't nearly the same but its nimble and fun. But the Kawasaki is definitely my fav. There's just something about a big beastly bike.
It’s funny how I’ve basically settled on two different channels for videos related to motorcycles. Both are informative, sometimes funny and always helpful. Both are also from guys who are strong believers.
Unfortunately, the MT-O1 was never sold in the USA. I did get to rent one for a day when I was in Europe. Awesome bike too. BTW, I still am the original owner of a 2002 Warrior.
Well, here in the States, we have this thing we like to call a "speedometer". It reads mph and kph at the same time. NOW, I apologize for being a smart-aleck, but it is my nature, and I cannot help myself.
Awesome video thanks for taking the time what would be great is if you excluded the current price on these bikes As always God bless you and stay safe out there 🙋♂️ 🇬🇧
People keep forgetting the biggest V-twin ever made Vulcan 2000.I truly believe they'll become a collectors bike. They are so hard to find one, monster torque!
A good friend of mine had one and let me ride it several times. It had great torque, but my problem with it was twofold. 1. Even mild turns drug parts on the ground, and 2. If you laid in to it, just when you think "here it comes....! you get... the rev limiter." It was such a tease with such a low redline.
I'd so love to own this bike. I had one bike in my life when I was in the Navy and have been longing to get another one. This bike reminds of it. Maybe some day. God bless, great channel.
After thinking about it,all of my bikes have been Yamaha lol. Fzr 600, yz250 dirt bike, now a 07 v star custom 1100. I love the striker, raider, warrior. I guess I'm a yamaha fan
I wish I owned a dealership. A used one like this because you don’t have to carry a particular brand. And there is something exciting about the chase of a good deal. I mean of course new bikes are fun but it’s fun finding those deals.
bought an 07 warrior as my first bike last march and absolutely love it! i debagded it for a clean look and always get compliments on it. has V&H pipes and sounds amazing. the price that you can get this bike for right now is an absolute steal. would love to see some race comparisons
I have an 04 Warrior... has a PC111 and big air kit and Samson Sweepers... Black w purple ghost flames and drag pipes... Wouldn't trade her for much anything... She handles hands down better than my VRod had...
The rumour that it has R1 components probably originated with the MT-01. That bike was only available in Canada, Europe, and Australia. Maybe others could have it but not the US. It had the motor from the warrior + R1 components like brakes and fork.
This was my dream bike when i was 14, back in 2004. I had a chance to buy one in 2017, but i think it was too much bike as my first bike. I ended up buying a V star 950 & love it :)
I'm 6"4 so I guess I'm taller then the averige man, and yet I ride an old Ninja ZX6R from the 90's, and it fits and rides great. Even tall riders like myself can practically fit on and ride any bike, only depends on how badly you want to. :D
Sean, love your videos, been watching for a while now. Question for you. I think your audio sounds good and was wondering what your mic setup is like. I wanted to start vlogging myself and have a GoPro Hero 7 Black for video. I can't connect a microphone directly to the camera without an adapter that has been out of stock for what feels like forever so I was wondering how you record your dialog. Any guidance you could offer would be greatly appreciated!
I can not believe that somebody actual called you sexist for that, i guess some are just so bored and miserable that they have to find something to complain about
Love you guys, great videos. Just wondering though...does Sean crack the other guys up all day? He reminds me of Ziva on NCIS as he always, ALWAYS gets the sayings wrong...LMAO. "Walk the Floor" ...killin' me! 😂🤣😂🤣
I would drop the cash in a second if I saw one of these for $3500, but bike prices are insane where I live. Almost considering buying your Triumph and having it shipped to me
I don't know. I'm into the new parallel twins everybody is making because nowadays they're essentially two 450 dirt bikes engines next to each other... Four strokes have come a long way long way ever since Yamaha was allowed to cheat when they created the YZ400F forcing everybody to go four stroke. Two stroke still have their place though. You better never forget them...
Great videos my favourite bike channel but you guys are lucky bikes are so much cheaper in the USA , when you give the price on a secondhand motorcycle to buy it here in the UK it's roughly double.
Had one a while back. Paid $2500 for it....guy was moving outa state. Keep it for a bit...then sold it for $3500....still had the "canon" exhaust. Fun bike to ride.
I have the royal star tour, but I feel like I want a bike that I can just have fun on. And if I can "walk the floor" with that bike. It might be a must get. :))
Been riding a Warrior since 02' bought new.In love ever since. Rode several other bikes but nothing has compared yet. Almost pulled the trigger on a V Rod Muscle but could not justify it because it was pretty much the same type of bike. Looking for a shift to a XSR900 maybe. Dunno got to ride it first.
They kinda ruled AMA pro street class for a time. I still want to gray market a MT-01 FROM CANADA. Lots online. Low "kilometers " How much can you ride? Michigan by the way.
I was just looking at this bike on your website, then looked for a UA-cam video earlier today of a test drive and I didn’t see it. But lo and behold here it is!
Like your vids... keep it up. However, you said Harley was running an 88ci which is a 1340cc, but it’s 80ci that is the 1340cc and I believe the 88ci is a 1450. Keep the rubber side down brother.👍🏻

The fact that he does the scriptures before each ride, I was sold. And he does give great detail and information on the bikes he reviews.
Awesome video thanks for taking the time what would be great is if you excluded the current price on these bikes
As always God bless you and stay safe out there 🙋♂️ 🇬🇧
People keep forgetting the biggest V-twin ever made Vulcan 2000.I truly believe they'll become a collectors bike. They are so hard to find one, monster torque!
Just my kind of bike. Terrific looks, killer colour and certainly enough power for me. If Sean fits at 6'2", then I will. Yes please!😎👍
A good friend of mine had one and let me ride it several times. It had great torque, but my problem with it was twofold. 1. Even mild turns drug parts on the ground, and 2. If you laid in to it, just when you think "here it comes....! you get... the rev limiter."
It was such a tease with such a low redline.
Agree had it loved it but definitely needed to be a little taller And a little more top end
It’s a Hardley all basically the same as every other Hardley.
The saying goes "Wipe The Floor" Lol...
I think it's "Mop the floor"........
Mop the floor.
Bought my 03 last summer with Kury grips & mini boards with Bub pipes and a bikini fairing for only $2800 (best money I've ever spent on a bike) 😁
I have an 04 Warrior... has a PC111 and big air kit and Samson Sweepers... Black w purple ghost flames and drag pipes...
Wouldn't trade her for much anything...
She handles hands down better than my VRod had...
Chuck Antel Showt you treed the bike Flore drie Wheeler piaggio Mp 300 2 wheels in vrond top speed 140 lex kantoor Holland amsterdam
Yet another reason for lagging HD sales... why buy new, when there are so many great deals _used?_
Yes! I remember that movie, and the theme song, "In the City" by Joe Walsh.
The rumour that it has R1 components probably originated with the MT-01. That bike was only available in Canada, Europe, and Australia. Maybe others could have it but not the US. It had the motor from the warrior + R1 components like brakes and fork.
I was sorry that I sold my blurple colored 2006 Warrior almost immediately. Bub exhaust, jet kit, cosmetic mods, de-badged: it was awesome.
This was my dream bike when i was 14, back in 2004. I had a chance to buy one in 2017, but i think it was too much bike as my first bike. I ended up buying a V star 950 & love it :)
I know I enjoy your channel! 2 thumbs up!
I'm 6"4 so I guess I'm taller then the averige man, and yet I ride an old Ninja ZX6R from the 90's, and it fits and rides great. Even tall riders like myself can practically fit on and ride any bike, only depends on how badly you want to. :D
Sup, just Shane!?
@@JonsMotoGarage Yup its me esé, how are you doing? Glad to see you here amigo haha :D
@@ItsShane79 Good times! Just got back from a short ride on the grom. Lol.
That was one of my favorite bikes of the time. Never owned one but I still like them!
Your videos a a joy to watch , thank you Ky
Oriental muscle. I do like that Yam with attitude!
I can not believe that somebody actual called you sexist for that, i guess some are just so bored and miserable that they have to find something to complain about
Or a liberal
Love you guys, great videos. Just wondering though...does Sean crack the other guys up all day? He reminds me of Ziva on NCIS as he always, ALWAYS gets the sayings wrong...LMAO. "Walk the Floor" ...killin' me! 😂🤣😂🤣
I actually have the sound track to the movie “the warriors “ on L.P. Good music Joe Walsh old rock and roll!
The floorboard/pegs... You aren't overwhelmed. You aren't underwhelmed.
You're just whelmed
I would drop the cash in a second if I saw one of these for $3500, but bike prices are insane where I live. Almost considering buying your Triumph and having it shipped to me
I don't know. I'm into the new parallel twins everybody is making because nowadays they're essentially two 450 dirt bikes engines next to each other... Four strokes have come a long way long way ever since Yamaha was allowed to cheat when they created the YZ400F forcing everybody to go four stroke. Two stroke still have their place though. You better never forget them...
theres one used im looking at with 21k miles. is that too high for being air cooled?
Great videos my favourite bike channel but you guys are lucky bikes are so much cheaper in the USA , when you give the price on a secondhand motorcycle to buy it here in the UK it's roughly double.
The little bottles on the fingers scene is synonymous with the movies "Warriors" lol
I've got those same pegs on my m109r they are universal. I like them super comfy.
What do u think of the Suzuki M90 , it has a 1500 c.c. engine and 5 gears, could the 5th gear
be a high gear or as good as a 6th gear?
Best channel on the subject
Great content
I like it! I'm only 5' though. Will I be able to reach the foot controls?
Had one a while back. Paid $2500 for it....guy was moving outa state. Keep it for a bit...then sold it for $3500....still had the "canon" exhaust. Fun bike to ride.
I had an 02 or 03. It was a beast. Loved that bike.
I'm a 56 Year old Man I like your Videos on Bikes I want to Buy one from you on and off road bike
This was fun. Just seeing it now. Thanks!
I have the royal star tour, but I feel like I want a bike that I can just have fun on. And if I can "walk the floor" with that bike. It might be a must get. :))
I remember sitting on one back in 02 when I was 18 thinking how huge and badass it was lol , same purple color
Dream bike, even though the Raider is more powerful. But also heavier. Only thing the Warrior needed was a 6 speed transmission.
That's a really nice machine cruising powerful
Love that bike. I miss mine so much. I had one very close that one.
It’s actually, “Mop the floor”, when something will just kill it.
Never saw one and unfortunately no tour around the bike? Left side remains unseen on the video... ?
They kinda ruled AMA pro street class for a time. I still want to gray market a MT-01 FROM CANADA. Lots online. Low "kilometers " How much can you ride? Michigan by the way.
I was just looking at this bike on your website, then looked for a UA-cam video earlier today of a test drive and I didn’t see it. But lo and behold here it is!
How about reliability, how many miles can a 102 usually survive before rebuild ?
Seen some of these Yamahas over 100,000 miles. Same engine in the other yamaha cruisers,
"I'm not a...". Nice save there buddy. Yeah!
Cruise control? ABS?
Why is there no wind noise in your helmet?
thats why i subscribed is that you do the verse thing and i like the era ur born. ya u didnt forget the warrior movie. nice
Like your vids... keep it up. However, you said Harley was running an 88ci which is a 1340cc, but it’s 80ci that is the 1340cc and I believe the 88ci is a 1450. Keep the rubber side down brother.👍🏻
The saying that you were looking for is “Walk the dog” or “Mop the floor”!!!
"Walk the floor", "mop the dog"....all the same. :)
(singing): "I'm walking the floor over yoooooooou." --Ernest Tubb
Wish i had seen this in May. I would have bought it. I like my moto guzzi v7 carbon dark i bought but this here is a proper muscle bike for a great price.
Lol "mop the floor" is the phrase you were looking for.
2:08
Mop the floor bro. LOL!
