As a 55 year old motorcycle guy, when anyone starts telling me what they think I need to know, it usually ruffles my feathers a bit, BUT, I have learned a lesson on every thing you mentioned the hard way. I hope the younger guys watching pay attention. There is a lot of valuable info here. Great video.
The only thing in this one I find pretty dim, is... I live next to Maine ... there is NO helmet law.... I would rather someone finance a 100$ helmet with their new bike, than to roll out without one...
Some helmets are cheap... if a dealer doesn't want a guy buying a new bike they are making thousands off of... Maybe they shouldn't complain if he wants to add a 100$ helmet... or give him one he can afford..
Wouldn't that be the thing to do instead of complaining someone wants to add a helmet on their purchase? Seems like a lot of judgement and not enough helping hands to me :P

Gear is TOO easy to get a hold of for the excuse to finance all the neatest, shiniest, and most fashionable BS instead of passing along a decent helmet, jacket, and chaps with EVERY ride that rolls off the lot... It's a scam to finance the stuff and YOU KNOW IT...
If you didn't, you do now... There's no excuse... You shouldn't have to finance it, considering how much money the bastards make on the initial price of the bike sale alone. ;o)

@@gnarthdarkanen7464 my first helmet brand new was 75 and it was from the local H-D dealer... of course I didn't finance it... but the last thing I would do is try to shame anyone out of financing one and riding without... I know gear is easy to find.. I know bikes are... my shadow being a 1983 with 80k I got a 2002 SV 650S a few years back wit 2500 miles on it... for 1700$ ... know all about deals and I don't buy when I can't afford... but it's peanuts to think that someone should be looked down upon for doing it IMO... AT least they are wearing gear... without mine.. hitting the deer I did at highway speed would have killed me most likely... helmets save lives... don't be a squid even if you need to finance it....
Everything this man says about motorcycles can be applied to cars as well. Car dealers do the exact same thing to their customers.

I'm 61 and have been riding off and on for 41 years. I love how when I walk into a bike shop and salesmen usually try and avoid a conversation when they see how old I am. I'm no psychic, but I'm going to assume they couldn't be bothered trying to hustle me into a big sale. Keep up the good work. You are making a lot of sense.
I agree with you I am 83 next Monday, and the sales team make a dash for me, when I remove my crash Helmut they loose interest. I was riding bikes before their grandad was born, Lol.

Learn to understand how your bike works and how to work on your own bike. Take a class if you can. You dont need to become a Master Mechanic but I feel its important to at least understand how your bike and car runs so that if a breakdown occurs you have an idea of whats going on. Sometimes its nothing more than a blown fuse. But even if you cant fix it yourself an honest mechanic will appreciate that you understand what hes talking about.
You can learn to do basic tune ups, change the oil, new plugs. Youd be surprised not just how much money that you can save you but what you can learn about how your engine is running too!

Don't even sign any contract to buy stuff you Can afford, without thoroughly understanding it - because you might pay more than you thought regardless of what the salesman says to you about it.
I bought an extended warranty knowing Ducati has iffy reliability. I ended up with the most reliable Ducati on the planet, nothing broke ever.
I feel for you, being let down by the bike like that :)

@@slowerthansound I know, right? I remember seeing somewhere that only 27% of all Ducs are problem-free in their (first year). I don't recall the actual time/mileage, but 1 year works for me. I think it was on Fort Nine's channel.
When is that warranty up? Wear all your gear and watch out when the time's up. 🏍️
--- was a Honda/Yamaha dealer ( Morgan City, Louisiana ) for 13 years - and did NONE of those things to my customers. The only 'In House" financing we offered was that from Honda and Yamaha - and discouraged using them - instead, we offered them a list of banks/finance companies that were motorcycle friendly ( this was in the 80s - early 90s and many banks and credit unions simply would not finance bikes ). As for trade ins, dealers really don't want them unless they are heavy into a used bike market - we weren't. Trade-ins are a PITA - you have to make TWO sales ( the new bike and the trade-in ) to complete the cycle and the trade-in was an un-known factor. I would take a trade-in, but told them upfront the only way I could afford to take it was to steal it - and they would be better off selling it themselves. Extended warranties - didn't offer them - not even the ones from the manufacturers. ALL extended warranties are nothing but "additional profit" for the dealer and the "warranty company" - what they actually are is an insurance policy - in order to even offer them in Louisiana, I had to become a licensed insurance agent by the state. You tell everyone how bad they and how they take your money, and then prostitute yourself out to one and make their sales pitch - for money. They are no better than any other, they just explain that what they are is an insurance plan. As for a salvage title, those are always a problem for somebody, and it is required by law that the buyer knows they are buying a vehicle with a salvage title. However, you can get some really sweet deals buying salvage bikes BEFORE they are rebuilt, and if you are knowledgeable and competent, can build some nice rides and save - esp. if you know you are going to drop it and scratch it anyway and don't care about paint perfection. What did I do as a dealer for my customers ? little things, like open the shop at 2 am on Sunday morning so they could get parts to get their bikes up and going because they had just crashed them and it was a race weekend. Or ride 45 miles each way to pick up a Goldwing from another state that the owner called you 5 minutes before the shop closed on Saturday ( 1 pm ) because they had just blown a tire: and then stay at the shop with a mechanic for 3 hours removing all the chrome and garbage to replace the tire. Or let the local ABATE chapter meet there on Weds nights because the local Harley shop wouldn't. Or show up at the shop on Christmas day to repair the front end of an ATV that a kid got for Christmas and his cousin just ran into a tree with. Not every dealer isn't a hard core biker first.
Most of this seems like common sense to an older, more experienced bloke like me, but it’s all terrific advice, especially younger riders/buyers.
Got my first motorcycle 2 days ago a Kawasaki z400, when I first went to the dealership I talked to a salesperson told him I’d never ridden a motorcycle and he tried to get me on a gixxer 600 as my first ever motorcycle, good thing I did research and knew that was prob a bit too much bike for me to start out on
Similar thing happened to me. Salesman tried to get me to buy a Suzuki sv1000 for my first bike.
Glad that you resisted the sexy bike up sell. Too much power and very easy to get yourself in trouble. And then there goes that 10k bike vs 4k bike
My first bike was a Ninja 500. Awesome first ride, It was plenty on the freeway, I could put my girl on the pillion, I loaded it and camped off it for 4/5 days...
Way more bike than it's spec sheet would have you believe.
I took a "step up" to a Ninja 650, the '06 model. It's a better mother and frame let down by ergonomics and weird suspension. Trying to get the seat low means the seat to pegs distance is SUPER cramped. I ended up putting some foam pads on the seat and bungeeing a sheep fleece over the top just to get my legs to stop cramping.
It's a much "better bike" but it doesn't fit very well.
When I finally get around to a next bike, it'll be something like a Triumph Tiger. I went to a triumph/ducati dealer and sat on everything they had, and the only bike more comfortable was the Multistrada.
My first bike was also a Z400, I got one the first model year they came out, AMAZING bike, I should have kept it!
I read somewhere the average lifespan of a GSXR600 before an insurance claim is 72hrs!!! Lol

A very simple and rather basic example. Was the ancient definition of how one falls victim of slavery! Some of the most common were:
- Captured during war.
- Being born from slave parents!
- NOT BEING ABLE TO PAY IT'S DEBTS!
Nowadays a large portion of our societies. Tend to fall into the two last statements! Curious and somehow shocking detail, is that in so many cases people predispose themselves for the last one. On a volunteer basis!!
Well, it's called consumerism society for some reason! Many simply don't understand who or what is being consumed! ;-)
Stay "Free"
Dad bought an aftermarket warranty on his 2015 Cummins , but because it wasn’t a factory warranty had a whole bunch of conditions etc attached.
Had a $2k est fix on the truck which was covered under warranty however in fine print he found out that if he lived within 100kms of a GoAuto dealer he HAD to get everything done there, oil change etc. His address was registered at 96kms away from the dealer so they completely voided his entire warranty because he got an oil change done by a family friend who runs auto shop in the small town he lives in (certified mechanic and all)
If he lived 6 kms farther away, would of been completely fine. One of the most bullshti loopholes I’ve seen in a while .MAYBE If he was doing oil change himself I could possibly see it. But a verified mechanic and no issue stemming from that was related to the problem what so ever, but because it was in the fine print they just did a blanket void of everything.
If you want extra warranty ALWAYS go factory
I used to work at a Honda and Harley-Davidson dealership. I've seen and heard a lot. Good advice in this video.
I was offered an upsell from a dealership. I was buying an FZ600 in 1988 for $3300, but was offered an FZR400 for $4900. I balked at the idea of getting a smaller bike for more money, but in retrospect & should have gotten the FZR400. The dealer knew me & understood my needs (and bike ownership in general) better than I did, and the FZR actually outperformed the FZ in every aspect & became a rare classic, while the heavier, two-valve, air-cooled 600 was a quickly-forgotten parts-bin bike, albeit a decent one.
Having worked at various mainstream dealers, (Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha,BMW ) I was expecting to pick this apart but, it's all good information.
Getting approved at bank before shopping can save a ton of money, but don't tell dealer you have 'X' amount or you will be spending all of it plus some.
Most fun buy I ever did was checking there were no penalties for early payment, signing all the finance forms and going back the next day with cheque for total amount.
Bank had 18 months zero percent interest for new customers so I ended up paying well below sticker price
Yep-good stuff here. What drives me nuts is the reluctance to tell you the price of the bike. Website says click for quote, you give your info and they call and talk to you. 2 days later you still don't know how much they want for the bike.
When I buy my next bike I will get it from you. I love dealing with people with honesty and integrity. You have that sir.

I have never seen a dealer anywhere make videos like his. Let alone be up front. Although dealers act like it. But I have purchased from other dealers and when something is not right they say as is no warranties. So before you go and say something negative about someone do some research on them. Clearly you don't watch his videos because if you did (as I have for the past 3 years) you wouldn't say that at all. I have seen this man give people their money back because they had a problem. Well I would believe Sean would make things right. He didn't get where he is screwing people over.

@@mosmotorcyclejourney9067 Being Christian doesn't mean he offers incredible deals. All dealers will sell their vehicles at higher prices than what they are worth. That's how they make money. A private seller is where you will get good deals. Which is one reason I prefer to buy any vehicle from a private seller. It's going to be cheaper and the private seller who has owned the vehicle for 3 years knows WAY more about the vehicle than the dealer who bought it last week and drove it twice. I completely trust that Sean is a very good dealer but I'd way rather buy from a private seller. You just have to know what you are looking for. Test everything yourself, read the type of person you're buying it from, etc.
@@rideroftheforce5245 you hit that 100 percent on the head. I agree with everything you said. I have been following Sean for years now and I have seen dealers screw people over. Not saying he doesn't but I do know he has returned money to some people because they were not happy with what they purchased. And that right there in my eyes makes him a better dealer then most. Dealers favorite line is as is where is and no refunds. But yes I have just purchased 2 1500 goldwings from private parties that I got way more cheaper then at a dealer. And they did go down on the price to where a dealer will not.
Sean is a good dude. Ive purchased a bike from them and traded to them as well and for one of the first times in my life didnt feel like I was getting screwed by a dealer.

Sean I’ve been watching your channel for years and years. It’s cool to see how your shop has grown and expanded and your company is succeeding. I really appreciate the efforts you go to to keep people informed about motorcycle selection and purchases. Life is still kicking my butt as far as disposable income but I genuinely mean this, SRK will be at the top of my list to search for a bike when I’m ready. And like you, this will be a cash buy which is part of why I’m still waiting. No need to take on unnecessary debt for a fun purchase. Stay safe and keep up the great work!
A dealership I visited today did the exact opposite of upsale. They tried to get me to change my mind from a Shadow 1100 to a Harley Street 500 because I'm 18 and they assumed I'd had little to no experience riding, despite the fact that the bikes were only 500 bucks apart. It was actually kinda refreshing :)
I was 20 in the Marine's. Financed a CBR 900RR, first real bike for 16% interest with all the gear. Broke every rule you just listed, but in my defense I didn't think I was going to live that long. My surprise still alive 35 years later but I did trade the bike in to the same dealer ship for way less than I could have got.

I’ll be 70 in November and if after being mowed down by 3 drunk drivers and 2 legally blind Florida drivers I ever decided to get on a bike again, your shop would be my ONLY choice to buy from.
Been riding since the early 70's it's nice to see a young man that learned from his mistakes or listened to his dad . Could be Sean is just a smart kid, great video kiddo this should be recommended to anyone looking to buy from a dealer.
I'm 61 retired motorcycle technician and have been in the automotive truck and motorcycle industry for all my life. Service manager, service writer, warranty administrator and training from every manufacturer auto and motorcycle manufacturers.
Everything that this man has said is straight up the whole truth. He covers the buying industry . "SOB" standard operational bullshit. The service department is a whole other side of the industry that is there to take your money. Its not as bad as problem with motorcycle service but the Automotive industry is the Worst! I'm glad to hear someone speak out on the atrocities that the sales management does trying to sell you what you don't need. Excellent video.

The real problem (as I see it) with purchasing any vehicle is that the consumer is intentionally forced into a relationship with a dealer and this is "by design". There is no buying direct from the manufacturer. Motorcycle, car, boat, quad they all lock down the distribution channel: Manufacturer->Dealer->Consumer->Used Market. I would like to see a video that illustrates what real value the stealership adds to the product. BTW, love your channel.

Reviewing the dealership is a great tip especially when you're looking at a brand with the next dealer being 80+ miles away, ie Ducati, Triumph, etc in some states. When I found that people travel far and wide to come to the dealer near me, it helped seal the deal.
This is why SRK cycle is a great business........HONESTY. I wish there were more people like this honor and integrity

Yeah well the average person cannot really just slap 30k$ on a counter just like that. BUT make sure you bargain / shop for your finance. look at different locations. sometimes, travelling a few hours can save you a few thousand bucks

My biggest hurdle at dealerships these days is knowing more about their products than they do. Now, I am an enthusiast and like to learn about all different styles and brands of bikes. No reason a salesperson should not know the basic specs and features of their bikes and their competitors. It is a widespread issue in my experience. It doesn’t keep me from buying because I do my research and know what I’m buying. It’s just annoying and lazy in my opinion.

Got my first bike when I was 14. It was a stolen recovery that didn't run for $75 out of my pocket and pops took me to a college night class to learn how to rebuild the motor that was 1979. Now I only buy from owners and maintain them myself.
First bike was a Ducati. Bet you didn’t know that they made a 125 huh? Long time ago, was great. Been thru a lot since then.
I work at a small dealership. We try to recommend new riders smaller machines but everyone wants the 600 sportbike or a big cruiser. Trade ins tend to need some work. But it always dumfounds me when a bike is sold or traded because it needs tires!

I paid cash for my bike. I was treated like poop from a previous salesman, so I bought my bike from his Co-worker in front of him and his boss, making sure his boss knew why.
I'm about to do that. I went to a shop here in AZ. Bike is worth 2800 according to NADA and Bluebook. I offered 3k cash cause it was in good condition and they were asking 3500. They came back with the "final price" at 5800 because dealership and ran my credit to finance it. Some people man...

@@thewhiskyscout1238 back in 2008 I bought a brand new GSXR1000 with cash. The dealership told me they had to run my credit even though I'm paying cash.
@@nateg.6187 This exact process landed me a sweet deal when I bought my wife a honda CRV in Texas a few years back. I got it slightly under its fair market price. Salesman was a little annoyed but it was December and he straight up said he was still making some commission on the sale and it was going to Christmas gifts for his kids. That's the only success story I have tho. I've been raped on numerous other vehicle and motorcycle deals over the years.
@@nateg.6187 You are correct. I have walked away many times, one time, in particular, my wife still talks about to this day. To me, vehicles are just objects with specific uses, I set a limit on what I am willing spend before I leave and go withdraw the funds from the bank for the purpose of car shopping. one time in particular, I thought the salesman was going to hit me out of anger (literally shaking he was so mad) after I told him I only pay cash and all he wanted to do was talk monthly payment, as I walked out. My wife was clearly worried as we were walking back to our vehicle as he was literally stalking us. She asked what would I have done had he assaulted me to which I replied, "it is not what I would have done but what our lawyer would do about it". I have been yelled at called names and politely asked to leave, I try to keep a sense of humor about it all though.

Wow, real talk in this video. Great information on the dealership processes of selling, financing, etc. Thanks for sharing because I learned a ton of things from you. I financed my first bike way back in 1998. I was working full time, I had finished paying off my car and I got a low interest rate for the loan on my ZX-9R. I stopped riding back in 2009 (sold the bike) and started a family and bought a house. Now, I'm financially stable again and want to get back into riding. I'm earning more now, so to your point, I prefer to pay cash for my next bike. I;m at a point in my life where I don't want anymore 'monthly installments' for five years, if I can avoid it. One less bill to worry about. Great tips in this video. Thank you. And, your last tip had me on the floor with your "Man up!" comment. I agree wholeheartedly.
Awesome video very helpful. Not looking to buy a bike but still helpful when buying a car. The warranty part was on point. Got screwed from a used car dealership who sold us on the warranty. I don't hold it against the dealership but the warranty is absolutely garbage. Awesome video you guys are awesome 👌

Good Video Great info that very few people know about, I used to be a Claims adjuster and dealt with total Losses, the information that the average person DOESN'T know is scarrrrry. I have taught so many people over the years on how buying cars and bikes works. Dealerships HATE me to come in to buy anything.
Those after market warranty companies had my mom freaked out. She bought the factory extended warranty on her new car. The letters from those companies are written to trick you into thinking you’d already agreed to it. Because of that I had to go to the dealership three times to make sure the one she actually bought was active.

Very sound advice. I'm a 63 year old Harley rider looking to by another scooter. I went to 2 Harley dealerships in the Central FL area, and experienced 2 totally different types of salesman. One listened to what I wanted, and was interested in putting me in a Heritage. The other, wanted to sell me one of what he had the most of on the showroom floor, going as far to say that if I got the Street Bob I'd have women all over me! Absolutely correct my man. TOP (2) best ways to get the best deal. 1- Pay cash. What else can I say. 2- Get your financing prior to stepping foot in the dealership. And for God's sake, DO NOT impulse buy. Relax and do your research. Know exactly what you want and with what options you want. Know what you are willing to buy already on the bike and what you are willing to add to the bike after you purchase it. Again, first and foremost, if you HAVE to finance like a lot do, get your financing to take with you and you don't tell them anything till you are done with price negotiating. If they ask, all you have to say is that you haven't made that decision yet. Once you are satisfied with the price, then simple, here is my financing for the bike and leave knowing you got the best deal you can. If you take your financing, then there is full transparency between you and the bank. Otherwise, the dealer will not only make profit on the sale, which I am definitely ok with, and they will also make profit on your financing. Thanks for the excellent video my friend. Been watching your channels for awhile now and learned a bunch. Looking at a low mileage 2008 Dyna Street Bob , and watched a lot of your ride videos and feel better about buying this one.
As someone who works in finance this makes me so happy. Lack of basic financial literacy is a big problem even in developed countries and those people are often taken advantage of instead of being helped. I don't live in the US but if did I would drive a long way to buy my next motorcycle from you.
I agree that you should always come in with your own financing. I don’t know if getting financing is different for bikes than cars but We got financing for our car from our credit union and they basically just gave us an APR percentage and an agreement to finance - not a check. Still, when we went to buy, the dealer was able to beat the percentage the bank offered so we went with them.
This video reminded me of another one of yours from a long time ago. A lot of gold in both!
It also reminded me of a time when I was buying a bike at a large, multi-brand dealership when a guy bought a beautiful, brand new R1 just before me... And then dumped it over at the first light a block away.
We all heard the crash from the dealership floor inside and could see him struggling with the remains through the large front windows. I remember the salesman immediately telling a co-worker, perhaps his supervisor, "he told me he could ride!" Having sufficient drama in my life already, I bought my bike and loaded it up.
I was all set to buy another bike yesterday myself... But my son, a medic, knowing this, texted me a photo from a call.
Three dressed Harleys and the lady in the car still drove over one, claiming she didn't see them. It was a bright sunny day.
It's important to know your capabilities as well as your surroundings.
Some people shouldn't ride some bikes. And some places are certainly more treacherous than others.

When i was looking into getting my first bike i wanted the fz09 but knew the fz07 would be way better for a starter. The salesman tried to talk me out of the 07 into the 09, long story short he was let go before i ever made a purchase and the new salesman steered me away from the 09 into the perfect bike for me

I've been badly stung by letting go our two cars by a car dealee here in Australia. I'll never forget them and infact, I tell all my friends not to go to that car dealership which is a major one over here.

I dont agree with that. I live at home and make over 100k a year and financed my 12k dirt bike because when I get money I spend it. I could be dead with my job tomorrow im not dying with money in the bank. And I am not unqiue. Thats 99% of the population that is just like me.
@@rhysl4759 cool... Your life your choice. Go for it. Great you earn so much at a young age! I hope you are happy and live a lot longer than you think you might. But if you do get old it would be really nice to know that you have an army of dollar bills working for you and you have a lot less concern because you have your whole future financed from your savings and investments. Also, you kind of said it, 99% of people live like that. At what else in life do you want to be just like everyone else? If you act like everyone else you'll have the same level of success as everyone else.
I suggest all young people take a class in personal finance. I took one at night at a community college decades ago and it was very beneficial.

RIGHT TO THE POINT... I have over an 800 credit score, always getting a lowest interest rate when purchasing any of my Trucks but, when i went to an HD dealer to purchase a TG I wasn't aware of them charging me 11% until I was reading some ppl complaining the they were charged a very HIGH rate also. I went and got a refinance at 3%...NEVER will I purchase another bike and NOT check out the interest rate....

Ty for being so honest . I have been saying for years that dealerships will tell you a higher interest rate than the bank says . That crap should be illegal
Harley offered me 14% interest rate. Then lowered the rate to 11% after increasing the dealership fees. I said no to both. They came back at 9% but didn’t include my 2500 down payment. I left the dealership. Bought a Honda Valkyrie same day at 3% and Honda matched 1500 of my down payment
@@souschef4489 cad dealerships do the same thing . Like how they always walk back to the finance manager saying you want lower payments . It’s because they drop the interest rate . Bank may say ok they can have 4.2% dealership will come back at 9 and tell you anything under 10 is great . Lol 😂

I live off of a fixed income. Military disability. And have a family . So money’s tight always 🤦♂️😂. We miss going for rides in the country. Had to sell my bike to make ends meet . Give me 4 to 20 years and I will be at your shop 😊

I honestly can't wait to get a bike again. In 2019 I bought a 2004 Honda shadow sabre to remember my dad by because he passed away a month prior and he loved that bike. And unfortunately I got hit with hard times in 2020 and had to sell the bike.. that by far now has been my biggest regret.
Never tell a dealership you are paying cash.
Sort out the deal, get all stuff thrown in if you can and make the price as low as possible, they are banking on you financing it to make money.
Then at the very end you say I'll take it right now with cash here's the amount we agreed on
Also, never mention using your own bank until AFTER you settle bottom line. As Sean said, this takes away their back-end on the loan, so they may try to make up for that somewhere else.

Thanks for the very informative video; it gives valuable advice for people who are going to buy a motorcycle from a dealership.
Something else to consider with trade-ins is that you will only pay the sales tax on the difference in price between your current bike and the new one. It's a pretty noticeable amount that helps offset the loss from trading in the bike vs. selling it to someone directly.

After this he then presented an alternative that he knows about that operates a little different, is it advertising? Yes. Is it paid advertising? Maybe. If you care about warranty then check it out and if you dont then let the white noise of indifference wash over you and don't be offended.

The financing part, I told the dealership where I wanted them to call and when they told me what the interest was I called the bank to verify. You lie I fly, you need my business and I have no issue going somewhere else

Thank you for putting this out there. Luckily my husband and I both work in the industry in a different field but luckily knew all of these things but I am amazed daily at how the majority of people whether it is cars or bikes do not.
I went on Google to look at some of the reviews for a good laugh 😅🤣 there was some good ones, all of the negatives seem like there from people who don't ride, type of guys who like the idea of riding but not so much the actual riding. You guys are awesome keep it up

Thanks for the straight talk. At 72, I think I've paid for all of the bikes that I could fit into my life, but newbies can certainly benefit from your wisdom.
The trick to all this stuff is know how to use a calculator. I've financed bikes that had incentive programs on them that made borrowing the money better than pulling money from interest bearing accounts. If that happens, throw your gear on there too. If you know you're going to pay off the gear or whatever quickly, you'd be out less $ in interest by rolling it on the loan than using a credit card... depends on the rates. Use a calculator.
In 40 years of buying cars and bikes, I've only met maybe two sales people who were knowledgeable and honest- and I've owned well over 100 cars and a dozen bikes. Every other instance, they either didn't know the product and made up or guessed incorrectly at details or attempted to hide things, change numbers (to their advantage), or straight up lie. Most recently a BMW dealer in Brooklyn told me it was illegal for them to pay me for the equity in a leased vehicle I was trading in- trying to scam $11,000.

I bought a 2018 S1000rr in uae for 70000 and next year bmw came out witg a new s1000rr and when i went to trade in my bike for the new one they offrred me 50k for it . And note that it had no problems at all no paint issue not mechanical issue .

i'm almost 40 and i delayed gratification for almost EVERYTHING in my life until just last year and while i am now happily enjoying the dumb materialistic things i have, i'm angry at myself for not YOLOing it and doing these things sooner
I did that, I was at a Kawa shop, the salesman was trying to sale a ninja to a guy with no experience, I asked his girlfriend if she loved him, she said they were going to get married, I told her he was going to die, the owner asked, who sponsored me in racing, Why, I told him not to make him a statistic for money, he dropped me

Thanks for the informative tutorial. The image of GFs buying Harleys for guys is hilarious. In the early '80s I worked at dealerships when the commission on selling an extended warranty was more than the commission on the sale of the new bike.
