Hey Nicki and John,
I'm pretty sure it is Leviticus/Deuteranamy that talk about this. It is old testament much like Passover and their interpretation of biblical polygamy. In Judaism there is also an order of feeding animals/pets before yourself and other things.
It seems like instead of biblical polygamy which many would interpret as Christian/new testament they should call it historical polygamy or Old Testament polygamy because I could see where it would be SUPER confusing. Even fundamentalist Mormons and LDS, have the idea of the law of Sarah to support plural marriage which is an old testament story. It is very old testament usage when it gets them what they want and new testament/religious tradition & interpretation when convenient(i.e. to have all sins washed away or to scare people with the idea of Satan)
All the polygamy in the Bible mentioned are cautionary tales. God didn’t want them to have a King because of harems and such. God gave in. And you saw clearly why.
They don’t respect anyone’s personal space.

The SUN said they found divorced papers for the original Richard’s couple. 2022. They also say the second woman moved away as well. Not idea when.
I had the exact same thought about sound of music and i said it to my boyfriend when doing the episode watch along!
They got all the worst lessons from the sound of music and didnt keep the beautiful landscape or cute costumes or great score!
Hens live a gosh awful existence. Some guy insists me and everyone come over cause there is a bug available to eat. OMG.

In my house, we do Random Squid Tuesday. On that holy day, we don our giant squid novelty hats and have presents and chocolate. Sometimes Christmas it's too full of bad memories and so I had to invent a new holiday.

Okay so I grew up with chickens and a goat. Not even children should be riding a goat. First of all for the ones light enough for the goat it's probably dangerous for the kid. And when it becomes a point where it wouldn't be dangerous for the kids then it's dangerous for the goat, because the kids too freaking heavy. I don't know that that analogy about chickens is true. But we didn't have roosters we only had hens because they were for the eggs. As I recall, and I've tried to block it out of my memory, my dad had the male chickens taken to slaughter. This may be why I'm a vegan. Yes John, I am a vegan. But I don't try and shove my lifestyle on anybody else. I just mention it now because I think that growing up with farm animals maybe why I am hypersensitive do any animals having to suffer at all. I promise I'm really a nice person and not at all judgy. Unless we're talking about Kody and Robyn, and then I'm kind of judgy
Can relate, my daughter as well. Chickens at my house, but at dad’s he bought her goats to raise. Neglected to tell her they weren’t for milk and soaps etc - killed us both when we realized she was supposed to sell them for meat.
At children’s rodeos, they rode sheep, not goats - am from Colo and it was called Mutton Busting.
