They did ask them during the tell all episode after the family went to Hawaii. All the middle kids were grouped together. Dayton and Aurora were there; not sure about Breanna. I believe Dayton said he wasn't interested in getting married at all right then because he wanted to travel and see the world first. Aurora said she didn't want to live polygamy but she did want to have a lot of kids because "I want my kids to have what I had." (Which is interesting, given the way things eventually turned out.)

I am making too many comments but children do not belong in conversations or in listening distance to know about Kody's marital issues with his 3 ex-wives & any of his 13 other kids. Kids do not need to hear the conversation of the dysfunctions of the Brown over-sized family. IMO we know little to nothing about what Robyn or Kody expect for their 5 kids. We know the 3 oldest, with Dayton having a 4 year college degree is that not one of them has any outside of the house job. None of them are contributing to family income or their individual income which seems, to me, ridiculous. So not only were R&K using the Brown family pot to buy, buy their kids also were being given money from the Brown family pot or given by K&R's portion of the family pot. That means other than TLC paycheck & money given by the 3 ex-wives no one has just some kind of out of the home job? Most kids today start parttime jobs at least in high school to save up for college or to have fun money to spend on stuff teens crave: clothes, DVD, music, prom, school dances. No special clothes for events. So Kody, who is head of the smaller version of his kingdom, has not kicked out any of Robyn's kids who are over 18 & he is also funding their lifestyles. It is obnoxious that Robyn's kids have no income of their own. According to Kody Cult rules, the 3 oldest kids should not be living at home whether Dayton is in a trailer on their home's property or not. Living in a trailer on his parents property is just having a bedroom that is outside of the mansion. Sure he eats his meals with his Mom & Kody.

Some of the other kids have said robyns kids are more sheltered and that will make them more socially awkward. I doubt they have many friends. Just saying...not trying to be mean.
Robyn said David was on spectrum. We know later Aurora anxiety issues. But at 16 or so she had a say in disclosure. For a few years David was still the legal dad so perhaps TLC careful not to gain his objection? I don’t blame Robyn for sheltering and helicoptering the kids that clearly have needs. My kid has needs. I also would not want to parent by committee. But I also didn’t chose to be married to a group of people also having to co parent more people myself. I would not want quirky moments captured on national tv. But I’m not on a tv show. She is step mom legally now and only now does she feel a parent to any of the original kids. Maybe since the court said so, maybe after the other women left? Maybe only to the minor one or two after the other women left? Do not eat food from fridge without asking? Not very gracious a host to even friends of her kids. Let alone bonus kids.
@@kristinesharp6286 If Dayton has some special needs issues that does not help for Robyn to intentionally marrying into a large polygamist family which is chaotic with so many family members to interact with. And, if Robyn wanted Dayton to be close to her for support while he attended college, it would have made sense to go to a college near Las Vegas so kody did not force everyone to leave LV for the needs of one kid! Why did Dayton apply to the college in Flagstaff if he had to be near mommy? Lots of questions because the giant move to Flagstaff is a big reason the 3 wives gave up on Kody Cult marriages.
