About me
Hola a todos 👋🏽 I’m Jerry, I learned Spanish from 0 to fluent, have taken the Spanish C2 mastery exam, and I make videos to help you learn Spanish and connect to the people and cultures that surround this beautiful language. Whether you're just starting out or want to keep improving, I've got something for you, so come aboard and join this Spanish adventure! 🥂
Do you think it's still important to learn other languages even with the technology we have today? 💬
i’m argentinian but my parents white washed me and didn’t teach me my language or culture. trying to learn my language myself in america is sooo hard😢
Argentinian Spanish is sooo cool 🤩 Happy that you’re learning it now that you can-it’ll definitely challenge you, but I think it’s worth it. I’ll be learning it at the same time as you over in NY 🙌🏽
@@JerryRegistre awesome, good luck! 🤞
how the f@ck white washed you? argentinians are white too .-. do you mean they "americanized" or "yankeefied "you
If you are from USA your culture is the one from USA not argentinian culture, you are a foreigner for us.
It's great that you want to reconnect with your culture ...but it's it's weird to describe growing up in North America and speaking English as being "white-washed". That in itself is a very "American" perspective. Consider that Argentina is the "whitest" country in Latin America with more of it's population identifying as "white" than in America! Most of the population immigrated from Spain, Italy and Germany.
Remember, Spanish, just like English was originally a European or "White" language that is now spoken globally. Both English and Spanish are spoken by people of every continent and every color!
If you're at the point where you watch series to learn yet, I suggest Rebelde Way. I originally started with Mexican Spanish, but Rebelde Way is such a fun show, I can't stop watching it. I just hope it doesn't negatively affect me learning Spanish.
Your spanish is amazing man. I hope to get to that level someday
Thank you man-still learning everyday. You definitely can get to and surpass where I am if you stick to it 🙏🏽
I am from spain and personally I like the argentinian accent much more than the castilian one, however i am from galicia so we have as well a distinctive accent
So, you are the real gallego 😋

The translation and adaptation are flawless. ¡Aguante Argentina!
Keep Grinding My Brother!
I appreciate it bro! Trying to work as hard as you 🙏🏽
Hi I really enjoyed this video. Just a really quick correction @3:02. Rio de la Plata means “River of Silver”
Thank you! 🙏🏽 I stare at these subs all day, and the words start to blend together, so I always miss something
Yep. But there wasn't any silver found there. Not like Potosí in Bolivia. Either the early Spanish explorers named it out of "wishful thinking" or maybe they were being poetic if it looks silvery in a certain light?
In my opinion spanish from Chile is more hard because my first language is spanish and I don't understand to much spanish from chile
I need to go visit Chile soon. Where did you learn Spanish originally? Spain?
@@JerryRegistre No I was born in Guatemala and Spanish is my first language then in the United States I learned English
@@itsluxno02 I’m learning Spanish and if you’re into gaming content, I watch this gamer with the channel name JuegaGerman. He’s from Chile and I could never understand him because of how fast he spoke. I kept watching him because I enjoyed his personality and I know he’s really funny, even when I don’t understand much. But the more I watched him, the more I understood
@@aliennvomet I know who JuegaGerman is, he's a good youtuber but he doesn't speak with his accent if he spoke with his accent I wouldn't even understand him
Chilean here! I confirm, Chilean Spanish is the hardest 😂😂😂
Sir which spanish speaking country would you compare your accent and dialect?
I originally learned in the south of Spain (Sevilla) but have since learned from friends/teachers in Mexico. So I’d say a mix of Spain and Mexico
He oído la misma cosa.
Cuyo/s = whose, Quien/es = who/whom ( Not trying to be a Smart Alec, just like to help)
Try learning Spanish in Chile 😂😂
Oh boy 😅😅
As an Argentinian but not from Buenos Aires I agree with the porteño guy. Spanish in Buenos Aires is a terrible Spanish. In the provinces we speak it better.
