It has been used for thousands of years in Brazil too.
In fact, India only started using turmeric for the first time because of Brazil ☺️
@@leetjohnsonI think you have to educate yourself then.

pgtips yes Indians have known this for centuries 🤷🏽♀️
@@betsy5889 Yep and now the Western World is capitalizing on this and many other Ayurvedic natural meds and Yoga as well. It is very nice to see so many people taking better care of their health.
Exactly!!
I just love dear Dr. Berg's caring, patient look and respectful attitude toward Karen. One more reason to admire him!
This is by far the best golden milk recipe! The coconut milk and cardamom beautifully balance the heat from turmeric, black pepper and ginger. And the quantity of the paste used is also just perfect.
Been drinking this for years now, its magical!
Dr berg and Karen thank you for changing my life and my mind .
Dr. Berg and Karen, this is absolutely the best golden milk recipe I have seen until now. I usually have this with cow milk but coconut milk version is too good. Thanks a lot!
I love the way you look at her while she is talking 😍😍😍...too much love and respect
True ❤️
She is the boss no doubt
I thought he looked impatient
It goes both ways..
Their chemistry is weird because they are scientologists.
I just started watching these recipe videos and you guys are such a hoot! Love your humour and the recipes are great too! 🇨🇦🇺🇸
U r such an inspiring person ur recepies are Soooo good tried many of them and I m really impressed thank alot
Guys, I have SO fallen in love with this channel (just as I have Eric's other channel). There's ALWAYS something I can make from things I have around the house, to make my day better!
One thing I would LOVE for you to add to the videos, at the end, is a simple slide/text over, with the macros. I think it's important, since, for example, this recipe is super healthy, but if not careful, it's a lot of calories that are easy to consume.
Thank you so much for all your amazing recipes...
I can almost smell those amazing spices! I already KNOW Imma gonna love this! ❤
I drink golden milk every night before sleep but I use only Milk, turmeric, black pepper powder and Ghee.
Same - I sometimes put in ground cardamon and use unsweetened almond milk + stevia and touch of honey for sweetener.
Wow, tatoos on 1:34,
These ingridents are enough bro for good turmeric milk
I didn't know you have this chanel. Subscribed immediately. Doctor Berg has saved my life!
Taste great! Thank you Dr. Berg
Absolutely love this stuff! Awesome before bed on a cold Buffalo winter night!
Thanks guys. I enjoyed this video and will be making this recipe.
dr. berg is my spirit animal
Wow SUPERB drink, will replace my need to have coffee in the afternoon right after my first meal of the day! And soooooo soothing and delicious! Thank you Dr Berg n Karen n Team. Yey
Been drinking this instead of coffee. This tastes and feels so much better!
Besides its health benefits it taste so good too especially in winter at night keep warm and help good night sleep.Love this drink but I like ginger better in my tea.
one of my fav drinks!!!! Those glass cups are cute
Oh wow! I have even planted tumeric. Been using the powdered form since the pandemic started because I couldn't go to the city public market. And Wow! Anothrr favorite, coconut cream in there. I was so impatient even when you were still talking about it. I would surely, surely try that. And your dear wife thought the same that I did put it on my face haha. My face loves eating what I eat too. More power Doctor. To your wife as well. She is wonderful.
I love this two
This is great! I use coconut milk too as I have a family history of Cancer so need to avoid the estrogen and IGF-1 in dairy. Thanks for sharing
THANK YOU !
Its root origin is from India doc...glad you are making america healthy again..
I've been using a tumeric ginger tea from Aldi, I add a little cream, as well as cinnamon and... slippery elm bark powder. It does help soothe GERD issues at night, has a pleasant taste, and helps me relax before bed.
Finally a cure for pain and suffering! I’m in! 🥰
You guys are so funny together. Thanks for sharing ☕️
How long does the paste last and should it be stored in the fridge or the freezer?
You both have a mighty chemistry between you ! I can feel it from here❤
This I've got to try!
I gotta say, it's amazing how this channel keeps coming up with new recipes. All of which are extremely time efficient yet are comprehensive in nutrition content compared to the original variants that can spike your insulin tremendously. You can tell that Karen really does a lot of experimentation in the kitchen, just as much as Dr. Berg who pulls out health information that's controversial to mainstream medicine yet surprisingly effective. Thank you to both of you for sharing this with us. Much love and appreciation from the keto community :D
this golden milk drink has been around for 1000s of yrs.. these folks are slow learners.. nice that they made a video!
Can't wait to try this ❤️
I love the way Dr. Berg looks at Karen all the time when she is talking..seems like their chemistry is amazing ❤❤❤
It's cos she's a wonderful woman
It’s the golden milk
@@antoniococotilo7019 yea😂😂😂got it
No - seems like he’s scared of her !
She talks like a pornstar.
Wow! Excellent recipe
I love masala milk tea!!!
@Karen...who's the amazing chef you use for your videos? She's awesome too! LOVE this channel! ❤
It really cleared up a skin infection. Just drank it in water. My Indian co worker said that's all they drink in his country for lots of ailments.
I am giving this a try today.😋😋😋
I made yr recipe yummy! However I tweaked a cold recipe-same paste but subbed organic ginger powder and used almond milk with a tbsp of unwhipped whip cream over ice and a sprinkle of my chai blend -less fat ? and so yummy😍
Looks yummy!!
Yes Karen, you can apply it on your face. 👍
😎
I believe that's a look of surprise on Dr Bergs face after tasting it. Happy New Year ppl 🇺🇸 This is what's up tomorrow. Gr8 way 2 start fresh.
We have been using it for ages
Nice.... I'm gonna try this..
✋♥️I just made it ,this taste nice 😋,i made it with fresh ginger and tumeric and almond milk and dates

curandero verde what is camu? Thank you
Wow!
Looks delicious
I just use almond milk, I tsp tumeric , 1/8 tsp pepper ( brings out the cumerican) and sprinkle of cinamon, and tsp honey in cup. So yummy n healthy
Almond milk is not as healthy as you think... unless you make it yourself. Look up the ingredients on the site bought type. Love to you!
Dr. & Mrs. Berg, I truly believe in your recipes, especially this one. I was taking 800 mg of ibuprofen 3 times a day and I went cold turkey and started drinking this miracle golden milk 2 times a day and the transition from the ibuprofen was a miracle!! No more pain and suffering. This drink is a God send! Amen 🙏 for Golden milk!! I just love you so much Karin! You are the only woman on the planet who can rock an apron with your illuminating smile!!
I will try this. Don't have Coconut milk.
Im taking the same amount ibuprofen, I have fibroids and be in so much pain. But I don't like Coconut milk
@@jannelson168 you can use almond milk, or regular milk (but you have to add a teaspoon of coconut milk or another fat, to activate the turmeric)
*coconut oil
So wonder, who is the cook?
Have been binge watching these recipes being made. 👍
i made this and it was fabulous, my paste was very thin, was this suppose to be cooked over the stove till thick like a paste. even with that being said it was awesome!!!!
Really tasty it's like KETO custard. Love it
I love golden milk lattes!😋😋
That looks yummy 😋
I grew up drinking this milk except used cow milk, especially during winter months since it has quite a warming effect.
Almond milk, cashew milk, oat milk, ......
I need further information. It appears that the paste you make first is not all used for one cup. So, how many cups will it season, and how do you store the leftover paste? How long will it be good?
Those glasses are so pretty!!
Thanks 👌🏻 for recipe! Markus & Co - Switzerland 🇨🇭
Thank you for this fabulous recipe!! GOD BLESS you!
First u should thax the Indians for inventing it
"on this planet" ... ❤️
I want to get this in a restaurant or buy a bottle at the grocery.
You’ve outdone yourself :)
So good .... you can substitute Almond milk and honey for those who cannot use coconut milk and stevia. Great for reducing inflammation and tummy bloating.
Can you tell me how much to substitute I am allergic to coconut. Thanks
@@michelebeardslee4259 I use 1 heaping tsp of turmeric paste, 1/8 tsp grated ginger(or to taste)1 tbsp honey and 1 cup almond milk.
Sprinkle with fresh cinnamon.
Turmeric tea is good too,
1 tsp turmeric paste, 1 cup boiled water, honey to sweeten.
Nana Knows thank you so very much. I will give this a try.
@@nanaknows2466 Does the the tea work as well
@@srianna0416 yes...I drink unsweetened turmeric paste tea everyday...helps so much with inflammation and arthritis pain. Bonus it flattens your tummy.
I made a drink last night that was pretty good, kale, almond milk, stevia, and a scoop of golden superfood bliss
A regular in Indian households for ages🤗
Doctors in Tamilnadu india ,recommend this drink for severe cold .
Dinner is coming 😂 ....love it
Karen you are doing a great job with this channel, thank you soooo much😍🤗. Your chef is also amazing 👏 😃💖👏
You guys look good!
Awesome tea, drink to good health. Thank you for sharing Karen.🙏
You can also add ground nutmeg
Thankful dr Berg and Karen ❤. Can i use turmuric powder in supermarket, is it good for drinking? Please advise drBerg ❤🙏🙏
Thanks to India.
Indian people drink this they have been drinking it since forever. It’s part of their cultural food . You guys love Indian foods it’s great
Love your shirt Karen! :-))
Got it, I probably won’t be cutting up fresh ginger, so instead I will do. Steep 6 tablespoons water with two teabags of turmeric ginger cardamom tea then froth in one can of full fat coconut milk and a few drops of liquid Stevia. Maybe with the vita mix where I can also heat it.
i am from Pakistán nice good thanks ♥♥♥♥🌷🌷🌷👌👌
How to store the left over paste?
happyflowers1212 I’d like to know also, can it be frozen?
Hi Dr Berg I have fresh turmeric !! It grow just like ginger
Cousins
I drink this regularly but with some changes. I only use Almond Milk, I add cinnamon and I also use fresh turmeric grated with the ginger. I top off with some melted (grass-fed) butter. I find the taste tainted too much by the coconut milk but it's not bad topped off with it instead of the butter. It's very, very filling!
Very nice, your recipe. Use ghee instead of butter, more beneficial.🙏
Rakesh Sharma Had not thought of that my friend, many thanks.
Yummy!!!!😋😋😋😋
Aww whenever I see Dr berg and his wife together ! 😍Couple goals
You can also as masala tea
I use Tumeric, pepper and nutmeg. Nutmeg has anti-oxidant properties. Nutmeg like Tumeric need fat to dissolve. Nutmeg balances Tumeric taste and makes golden milk less Tumeric tasting.
It's the good old haldi doodh (turmeric milk) for Indians!💛🥛
Dr berg I need your opinion about lactium for sleep is it really helpful with no side effects will it cause dépendance !?
Hi dr. If o use almond milk can i drink during fasting?
Thank you so much
I can’t find your powder called Turmeric Latte anymore on your website. I loved it and the convenience of it being in a premade powder with the ginger and sweetener already added. All I had to do was add milk of my choice. Any chance you will bring that product back?
Genuine question: why would you use fresh ginger but not fresh turmeric? I am contemplating making this and using it as it does sound really great. I have a cold press juicer. And want to make it by expressing the juice first. What are your thoughts
I have made this golden milk and it is so delicious, is it suitable to replace bullet coffee in the morning?
I bet you could freeze that too into popsicles, great recipe
I love tumeric rice ♥
Loved it. Can I add ashwagandha to my cup?
