Why does Karen constantly interrupt, assume she is always right and Dr. Berg is wrong, and is condescending? I don't find that to represent fun banter or chemistry, or even wit. Dr. Berg, you indeed are kind, patient, and respectful.
I have known several couples like them...one interrupts or is rude and the other is respectful and kind. And they remain together for DECADES.
They dont just agree with what each other says all the time which keeps things interesting, not boring. It will keep them strong. They are 2 attractive, smart people with good chemistry.

All I have to say is if that’s how guys ask girls out on dates, I’ve been asked out way more times that I ever realized! 😂😂😂
It’s a lot smarter if you do it right o think, because then if she’s not interested she can turn down the invite without rejecting you as hard because it wasn’t exactly a date offering. Then you’re not as a crushed as the guy or awkward as the girl. It also protects you from girls who turn you down really harshly, though that could just be in movies mostly. But either way it’s safer and less awkward. And it also lets you get a feel for the person without fully initiating a full date. It’s like a pre thing.

It's good to know that i'm not the only one who is in the habit of interrupting someone as i'm either too excited to tell my side as i tend to forget once i wait for the other party to say his word. I know it shouldn't be the case but i'm trying my best in applying respect as it is still perceived as being disrespectful. By others however pure my intentions are... gotta contain that excitement of storytelling :)

They met in a professional setting that explains the lack of progress. Dr. Berg was more professional than he thought, and she was taking it professionally too. The chemistry was unavoidable, and here they are now.
Watching this couple, she is very blessed to have him. I can see why the other guy broke up with her. She's a very lovely lady and I can see how he was attracted to her. She really needs to learn how to let him speak. They have great potential but need to learn to appreciate each other's strengths without her feeling the need to one-up him all the time. Remember that she was a patient, so he explained, he needed to be gentle about how to ask her out, like almost a not a date. So in his mind, he WAS asking her out on a date, EVEN THOUGH SHE MAY HAVE NOT SEEN IT THAT WAY. I don't think he was shy. He did ask her 3 times, that's not too shy.

Ms. Horsetrainer I said I liked her, which you can do without liking everything they do. I also didn’t particularly notice the presence of what some people were upset about. She cuts in some, but she didn’t seem rude I don’t think. And it’s a story about both of them so it makes sense they’d each be critiquing the other person’s events of what happened, particularly a married couple. If she were cutting him off like every other sentence then maybe it would be more of legit issue.
