I have studied with Dr. Yang a world renowned martial artist specializing in white crane kungfu, Chi Na, and QiGong. I have been practicing QiGong for roughly 10 years. I have only worked with Dr. Yang for 4 or 5 years. I am starting Kempo classes this coming January. Always great to know others are out there. Keep up the good work! Love watching your videos!
Eero, I have one question. How do you come up with all these exercises? One does not need to go to a gym watching your movements and exercises. To perform them not only takes a lot of effort and doing but from my observation these forms not only build muscles, can keep anyone fit but also - brain fit - remembering and doing all these beneficial movements. I'm 58 and was doing a bit of simple daily exercise forms for strength and little endurance. Since watching Vahva Fitness, I have begun to do more of your routines within my capacity. I am seeing positive changes and the benefits. Cheers to everyone else here. Thanks again Eero.
Thank you Paul. Lots of exploration and research with myself and my clients. Mostly, it comes from the understanding of the human body and how to move different parts
Beautiful! I've been wanting to improve my lizard crawl for a while, I'm too stiff in my movements and this gives me everything i need to work on to uncover that fluidity!
The basic in any martial art is the "Observation of Nature" It was so, for the Buddhist Monks for Tai Chi, and other martial arts. The body and its movement in time and space, reveal to us the fundamental awareness of existence, its "Raison d'Ètre" Reason for being. The synchronicity and adaptation of the body as the medium in movement, are beautifully choreograph as in a dance.
Ok I was trying something like this today but without the added tail wagging. Ill incorporate this next time. I like how I can go forward as I'm doing the odd pushups.
It's very beautiful, thank you. You seem to be really enjoying the pleasures of being able to move, to manipulate your body like that. This is more than just keeping fit for you, I think. It's very meditative, graceful, sensual, even shamanic, to watch. Primal, as what the others call it; very life-affirming. They say movement is life. I don't have the same 'conscious' relationship with my own body as you do. Keep it up, man. There's wisdom in knowing your own body as it is in knowing one own's mind.
It's really the same as with many other similar movements. If the lizard is so hard that it doesn't allow for a normal breath, then easier progressions should be followed
Hello Brother😁😄 Sorry Do you have a calisthenic exercise for the side shoulders, posterior or back shoulders and upper, middle, lower trapezius, thoracic and lower back forearm, wrist and rotator cuff and how to neck exercise?🤔
Yes, we actually master the moving lizard crawl with 10 strength exercises and 10 mobility drills in the program. One of the progressions is just holding yourself in the lizard position with one arm which is the same type of strength you need for the lizard twist.

How’s the difficulty in maintaining breath control and avoiding stressful tension in the lizard movement as compared to other styles of moving?
It's really the same as with many other similar movements. If the lizard is so hard that it doesn't allow for a normal breath, then easier progressions should be followed
Superb

In Movement 20XX program we master the lizard crawl with 10 exercises and 10 mobility drills. This is basically an advanced application of the basics
Is this the type of stuff you do with Movement20x?
Yes, we actually master the moving lizard crawl with 10 strength exercises and 10 mobility drills in the program. One of the progressions is just holding yourself in the lizard position with one arm which is the same type of strength you need for the lizard twist.
