Brilliant video. Ive just bought a kamtec mini and going to start racing at my local club for the first time. Very helpful. Never raced before so im a total newbie
Thanks for watching and commenting glad that it resonates and you can take some learning away from this.... Hope your well and enjoying your racing which is the main thing 👍👍👍👍
That's what I like about the Mardave platform, it's simple, with everyone running near enough the same spec, the skill is in the driver, not the tech. Was around the racing scene in the mid 90s, it was Mardave minis back then, the design has changed slightly, at least with the steering set up, I remember it being a very thick brace holding the front castors, now they're wishbones, looking through my 30 year old scrapbook with an exploded diagram of the 1980s Mardave mini confirms the change. Very good video, makes me want to get one to hoon around indoors 😆
@@BrensRCracing nice and thanks for the help. Got facinated that the cars is so simple yet seems like these brings loads of fun. Im not in UK but hope mardave ship outside UK, going to send them a mail.
I ran a mini in mid 80s, on an oval track in Edinburgh, can't remember the make, but wee all ran stock, had red bumpers, track was marionval models. Can eney of u out thear help with wot car we ran? Memory not so good nowadays. R.

Racing Reliants, I used to run with a tighter mesh on the gears. It helped me with not spinning out (as much😅).
