Hello all, it’s Abby from the video speaking here! Thank you all SO SO SO much for so many amazing comments! I have read every single one, appreciate every subscriber and I just can’t believe we are at 87K views!! I shared this video with the hope of 1 thousand views… Seeing so many people love it has been incredible and such a surprise! Thank you thank you!!! If you want to see what I do professionally (in the real world of presenting) my Twitter is @abby__hook! But for now… welcome to Hooked Racing and we’ll be back with another video very soon!🏁
First off this video was very well made. Young lady you have a great talent! You interview better then most professionals. Some of these car bodies are very well made too. Very proportional and crushable! Genius!!
Abbey you have definite presenting talent.. next top F1 ? What a fantastic day, found this by accident and I'm off to look at your Facebook page now..cos I'm hooked!!
enjoyed that i raced 1/8th ic rc stock cars many moons ago when we had a track at skegness .should have done banger racing the way i drove lol .great video good setup well run credit to everyone
Looks like a lot of fun. I raced 10th scale buggies and 10th scale touring cars through the '90s before getting into full-size rallying. Had the touring cars damaged quite often which was not the point and also rather expensive, but if the idea is to smash the cars up then everyone is on the same page. I prefer the alloy bodies as they fold up much like the full size cars.
This is brilliant! If only it had been around in the US in the 90s, well it kinda was at some tracks, but not everyone was on board. 😁 Awesome videio!!
What in the hell has UA-cam brought me too😂 it looks so fun, I'm into fast boats and fast cars but bigger, this looks like a good time, presenter is brilliant too, go hard and have fun guys 😂🤙🤙🤙
What a great concept. The cars are all custom and it's awesome how you can take out other drivers by crashing into them on purpose. Very enjoy able video.
Looks like a GREAT time!! I had COUNTLESS hours of fun as a young boy, making aluminum foil bodies for my ho scale slot cars, and racing them around, "smashing" them up!
Wow this video was really fun! I always wanted to try something like this. Great work to the reporter, it gives me F1 anchor vibes 😎 all n all, great racing to all n hope there are more racing coverages! 🔥
Fantastic and top notch video Abby really touched all bases. The sport, people and cars and fact open to all the family. I used to race18th and 1/12th stocks with my dad and sister at Hastings and then 1/12th bangers with my sons and daughter for a while in Essex and Suffolk. Keep up the great racing and videos.
Wow nice job commenting and introducing evrything, Id like to hear your comments during the races as well, some more detail on what specs your bangers are and how they are build would be great! Are you going to comment any other rc events? Your doing great!
Wow found your channel absolutely love this looks amazing and a good day out thanks for sharing love to come and photograph this see if I can capture some of the action
This is a great video! Question: what are the chassis? I saw a handful of Spectrum radios. I'm also curious what the bodies are made of. Looks like tin. Very cool, cheers from USA 👍
Sad to see no track martial on the track! I have sneaky suspicion that these cars hit a little different than the ones with lexan bodies😜😁😁😁! I love what y'all have done here making your own classes, IT'S BRILLIANT!!!
This came up in my recommended and I thought it was a bit strange when I clicked on it but I must say it was quite interesting. Your daughter does a great job and should certainly look at getting into motorsport commentating or interviewing as a lot of the rc stuff does translate into the real car stuff. Really good work on the video and good to see people having some fun and enjoying a hobby surrounded by a good community.
OMG! Too much fun! I did some Mini Stox racing in the past and that was mad fun too. Looks like your 1/12th cars are based on Mardave parts. But not sure about the 1/8th ones, are they scratch built? And the aluminium bodies are a genius idea! Bent it and mend it! 👍 Not surprised to see no track marshals though.
This is great, what a really professional production. I realise you can't make racing content quickly. But how about more videos looking at the cars, the scrutineering rules, how the bodies are made, etc. while we wait for more racing. This feels like the start of something much bigger.
That was cool. Never realized there was a crash up derby/race before. Very cool how the cars crunch up like the real one's. Also I wonder if anyone has ever finished without a dent.
Shout out to the reporter, she did an awesome job ! Sounded and even asked every question like a professional. That was cool
There seems to be a lot of racers with the last name Hook 😄
It's the accent 😂
Yes she did but does she have to do the intro right next to the generator?
If you take this talent to EVERY race in your area, I imagine you could get a lot of followers. Great job.
Didn't even know it existed. Everyone looks to be having fun which is the main thing. Superbly presented video.
Thank you

Such a great find! Do you all have a basic set of rules posted somewhere?
This was brilliant great job can't wait for your next meeting coverage 👍👍
Absolutely brilliant, there are rc bangers near ferndown Dorset

I knew instantly that I wanted the 606 Iron Maiden Eddie car to win. You can't help but smile watching this.
I still have the car! I threw away the small chance I had btw going in for a shot on a friend 😂 snapped a wheel off

What chassis and running gear are they using? Would be nice to know the set ups, what shells, what they are mostly based on... Otherwise, great video!

I build the cars and could send a few to the us 👍🏻👍🏻

they need this in America!
Great video looks like a fun easy accessible hobby to get into 👍🏻
Awesome video.. I like this style. Definitely would NOT want to be the one to flip a car over 😎👍
Looks like they have no track marshals. You just have to get lucky if another car knocks you back on yer wheels!
Wow nice job commenting and introducing evrything, Id like to hear your comments during the races as well, some more detail on what specs your bangers are and how they are build would be great! Are you going to comment any other rc events? Your doing great!
Found this on my fyp and I am so happy to see it. Are the bodies custom or is there like a shop? I'm in Canada and want to bring this here.

I should show this to my local track owner. What are the rules for the cars?
Great video and plenty of smiles. 👍
Hello from Massachusetts,USA.
now i know what to do with old traxxas and.associated cars i have around here thanks great video
Absolutely agree with the positive comments, great job!
It's so cool how they scaled down the thickness of the body metal to dent and smash like a real size car. So fun.
What a awesome and great looking race I do race RC cars but I like the metal bodies on there very cool
This was great new subscriber looking forward to more
A true natural in front of the camera! Look forward to seeing you presenting on TV!

The cars are awesome and very realistic. How are they made? Homemade Alloy metal fabrication?
Great video , race looks so much fun
i did this back in the 90s whit the mardave minis 😎

Have a look at my Facebook page, hooked 1/8th scale alloy bangers
Reminds me of the RC stock car racing of the 80's. Does that still happen?

RC for beginners... I love it!
Beginners!! We are experts 👍🏻🤣
I was today years-old when I discovered that RC banger racing existed. What are the bodies made from, thin sheet aluminium?
I am in if we get to kiss the announcer if we win! WooooHOOOOOooooo! 🤪🤣👍🇺🇸
Next year?! How about having Hooked Racing Winternationals? Get some snow tires on them cars!
Reporter did better than most in motorsports do haha. She did a great job. This was fun.
Show encontro de modelismo 🛻🚗🏎🔥💨🤩✌🏼

Yet another reason to move to uk asap....to enjoy these races!
That was cool. Never realized there was a crash up derby/race before. Very cool how the cars crunch up like the real one's. Also I wonder if anyone has ever finished without a dent.
I really like that reporter! She should be on the big screen.
They are driving to WRONG way! 😱🤪🤣👍🇺🇸
Nice insight to bangers, and also great reporting from his daughter, she will be replacing Holly Willoughby soon 😁
Epic video! will you be doing another video for the world final this year?
