Gotta love it when you can sneak onto the track with your mates, and run a few races on your own. Some really nice close racing between the contestants too, gotta love that! In your race, it took you a few laps to get used to running backwards until you got used to it ... then some solid racing between the 3 of you right up to the end. The camera got a little jittery for my old eyes to watch when you were marshalling (so I couldn't physically handle that part ... as it gave me vertigo and an upset stomach LOL). We ran one of our carpet offroad races reverse to our normal direction, and we found it caused a lot of broken arms (2 in my own pits alone) as there were many more crashes, and the crashes were more ferocious when they did happen. Still, we're planning on reversing our direction a few times next season. Can't often do that for the outdoor tracks here though, as the jumps on a dirt track may be directionally motivated / challenged or even outright impossible to navigate. True to course, lots of laughs and giggles for sure. Gotta love a great night out with friends, doing what friends in common like to do! Thanks for sharing Fhuz oot.
Absolutely Fhuz.... I think it took 10 laps before I came close to an apex😂 Yeah with the camera wasn't sure how to capture it when marshaling a commentating a friend has offered to lend us an insta 360 next time so that might work better...... But yes some great banter and lots of laughs and as far as I know only 1 broken car..... Which is a result.... Have a top day mate cheers as always for watching and commenting 🍻👍👍
The standard race nights are always a ton of fun, but it was also a nice treat to mix it up a bit with the SNAFU night :) looking forward to another at some point.
Great night , well done both of you .
