The benefit to the longhammer is that it swings fast, and is able to be used with the dragon shout that makes you swing faster. More dps, at least base dps. Which makes it the fastest weapon to level 2 handed.

The giants club can be equipped with console effects, and does like 80 damage with 15 two handed, and 125 with 100. It’s really fun to use, even though you can’t launch people
Four years late to the party, but theres a mod on nexus called "yeet weapons" that allows you to do the same thing - albeit, in a slightly less cool manner.
I just found the location of a Giant's Club that your player CAN wield. It's at the top of Karthspire where the hagraven sits. She's standing near a dead giant on a platform and in his inventory is a club that I'm able to use just fine on Xbox with no mods
dragon priest staff can also be obtained by stopping Nahkriin from ever collecting the staff to close alduins portal. doing this you are able to collect the staff at any point and the portal will stay open until you choose to pass through it.

Not only is the long hammer the highest DPS weapon in the games (and the signature weapon of my Dragonborn) but is also an amazing pun. I’m not sure if it’s intentional, but a weapon called the LONGhammer belonging to a guy named rod just feels to good to be a coincidence
When I got the oath blade the first time I was going into the grotto thinking "pretty sure a daedric quest happens here. May as well clear it before I come back" and was stumped when I found the sword
Good video, very nice selection of hidden weapons. Although, the low weight of The Longhammer only reduces how much stamina it costs to swing it. The speed is controlled by an independent stat. Normal warhammers have a speed of 0.6 hits per second, while The Longhammer has a speed of 0.8. That makes it 33.33% faster than a normal warhammer. It can also be enchanted, unlike Zephyr. Definitely one of the best weapons in the game. Bloodthorn might absorb 10 points of health, but it does so over 1 second, and the absorption can't stack with itself, meaning that you can only ever absorb 10 points per second, even if you hit 2 times each second with the dagger. So half of your hits wouldn't absorb anything in that case. That's why I made it absorb 10 points on impact and 10 points over 2 seconds in Awesome Artifacts. Absorbing on impact is much stronger for fast weapons.
Really good to know that, I was wondering why Nate was so sure weight and attack speed were linked, because I always thought that they were 2 different characteristics.
what would win: hammer wielded by the king of a dwemer faction, thrown to be found and literally the namesake for hammerfell, and eventually becoming a weapon owned by malacath himself. or: stick with stone on the end

I think my favorite part of your videos is you don’t just show me an object/item and it’s location. There is lore attached to everything and I fucking love it. Keep it up man!!
I've gotten that dragon priest staff pretty consistently by just killing him, placing it in the slot, wait for the whole animation to play through, then grab it and whirlwind sprinting into the portal. Much easier
Actually, the Ebony Blade, a Greatsword/Claymore resembling a very large Japanese Sword and a Daedric Artifact of Mephala is the fastest swinging Two-Handed weapon in Skyrim, possibly the fastest weapon in Skyrim, as well. It also does an Absorb Health enchantment that, when at full strength after killing a few friendly characters, does more Absorb Health Damage than an Absorb Health enchantment added to a Daedric weapon with your Enchanting Skill at LV. 100.
In a couple of my playthroughs I have actually found a giants club after killing the giant. It was in their inventory both times and i have used it more than once
Bloodthorn has one more hidden ability where the soul trap enchantment can work on dwarven enemies where it normally wouldn’t fill a soul gem because they resisted it
I mean, Bloodthorn is all nice and stuff, but once you are powerful enough to obtain it you are likely able to enchant a stronger dagger with a health drain enchantment already. So it's not really that powerful, it's just nice to have.
I’ve seen Longhammer before, and just learned about the Giants club a couple of weeks ago, but I’d always thought Blood Thorn was trash and never used it. Now that was illuminating
I found the giants club by chance when I 1st started playing in some how got Lydia to pick it up but I had to reload the save from earlier because it completely messed up her inventory
I play Skyrim on PS4 and on one particular play-through a while back while completing the quest A Night To Remember, after killing the giant (who's name I forget) that you sell Gleda the Goat to, I was able to pick up his club and actually wield it. It was my first time completing the quest so I didn't realise that I shouldn't have been allowed to pick up, let alone wield the giant's club. So I didn't think anything of it. Anyways when I first acquired the club it performed very well by the standards of a regular two handed weapon. However as I continued leveling up the giant's club grew increasingly stronger to the point where it did well over 100 points of damage. I'm not sure exactly what level I was when the giant's club reached it's peak or even what level I was when I picked it up as I stopped playing as that character a long time ago however I do recall being able to enchant it and I did exactly that. I remember putting a shock damage enchantment on it and quickly I realised the enchantment never lost charge making the club infinitely more powerful. It was by far the most powerful weapon I ever wielded in Skyrim. I was able to complete entire quest lines with ease and convenience and I was able to absolutely obliterate any foe that I faced in less than a few swings. I had a lot of fun on that play-through but eventually I felt I had done everything I had to do with my character at the time. Eventually I moved on to my next play-through and left the magnificent giant's club in my past. At the time of the writing of this account, the 16th of August 2020. I do still possess multiple saves of that playthrough and am able to provide proof of the giant's club. It is also worthy to note again that I play on PS4 with a couple of mods enabled (mostly enhancing AI as well as towns and cities) but I have never played with or even heard of a mod that would allow this on PS4. I also have completed the quest A Night To Remember on a different play-through since then and have not had the same thing happen to me.

what would win: hammer wielded by the king of a dwemer faction, thrown to be found and literally the namesake for hammerfell, and eventually becoming a weapon owned by malacath himself.

You cant remove it
I have a weird condition that I require something to listen to each night when I sleep. Honestly I found this channel while some nonsense was playing on the background and after months that I've slept with these videos, whenever I hear Nate's voice I just forget everything and want to sleep.

Yeah, same
A SPLENDIFEROUS game, Nate. Please, just once, I beg you.
Audio fixed...but "weight" is still spelled wrong...multiple times.
One of my favorite other Dragon Priest Staffs is the one you get from Forelhost
I think my favorite part of your videos is you don’t just show me an object/item and it’s location. There is lore attached to everything and I fucking love it. Keep it up man!!
"The force behind Skyrim's space program" XDDDDD so true XDDD
A real unique weapon is nazeem’s ability to annoy the Dragonborn
Nah that's a skill
A skill that can kill

I've gotten that dragon priest staff pretty consistently by just killing him, placing it in the slot, wait for the whole animation to play through, then grab it and whirlwind sprinting into the portal. Much easier

Yes

Actually, the Ebony Blade, a Greatsword/Claymore resembling a very large Japanese Sword and a Daedric Artifact of Mephala is the fastest swinging Two-Handed weapon in Skyrim, possibly the fastest weapon in Skyrim, as well. It also does an Absorb Health enchantment that, when at full strength after killing a few friendly characters, does more Absorb Health Damage than an Absorb Health enchantment added to a Daedric weapon with your Enchanting Skill at LV. 100.
Not if I use a potion of fortify enchanting that enhances that skill to about 4847278.....

Ah, bloodthorn... finally, one i actually knew. that hidden effect, was something new though...
In a couple of my playthroughs I have actually found a giants club after killing the giant. It was in their inventory both times and i have used it more than once
Bloodthorn has one more hidden ability where the soul trap enchantment can work on dwarven enemies where it normally wouldn’t fill a soul gem because they resisted it
I was able to get it by running past the person stealing the dragon priest staff and jumping in the portal.

*Desperately searches for a follower with a 100 Two-handed skill.*
Vilkas, maybe?
I mean, Bloodthorn is all nice and stuff, but once you are powerful enough to obtain it you are likely able to enchant a stronger dagger with a health drain enchantment already. So it's not really that powerful, it's just nice to have.
I’ve seen Longhammer before, and just learned about the Giants club a couple of weeks ago, but I’d always thought Blood Thorn was trash and never used it. Now that was illuminating
I found the giants club by chance when I 1st started playing in some how got Lydia to pick it up but I had to reload the save from earlier because it completely messed up her inventory
"Deadric daggers” proceeds to show a giant sword

Thanks to this video Bolar's Sword is one of my favourite weapons because it's always the first unique weapon I get
I play Skyrim on PS4 and on one particular play-through a while back while completing the quest A Night To Remember, after killing the giant (who's name I forget) that you sell Gleda the Goat to, I was able to pick up his club and actually wield it.
Provide some proof then
Hey now both my ears can hear this video, Thanks nate.
I manage to get the Dragonpriest staff by just getting it after opening the gate to Skuldafn. Nothing stopped from getting it.
Same here.
You can't take it back out. Actually try these things before you say them, they just make you look foolish...
@@Malkontent1003 What the hell you talking about? I just went there and got it after you open the gate you just grab it the portal to Sovngarde stays open. Grown a brain!
@@MrFantocan No, it doesn't, because you can't remove the staff once you've placed it back. Otherwise, this'd be a super easy item to obtain. Of course, it might have bugged for you, in which case, congratulations. Or, and this is the more likely option, you lied. Although, there is a third option, being that you might have a mod active that changes it, and not realise. Either way, good day, and maybe you ought to grow up a bit, rather than telling people to "grow a brain."
@@Malkontent1003 Lots of people can get it, I guess it needs a right timing, like if u leave it there it getts uncollectable. But I was afraid couldnt get it first time I played so after killing the Dragonpriest jus used it and instantly regrabed it. Worked fine.
Wait... no one got murdered to death here. WHAT'S GOING ON?
Love the description of the Giant's club, "The force behind Skyrim's space program", very relevant at low level ^^

God, I have played so much of this game like everyone else, hours in the thousands, and didn't know about any of these. The Bloated Grotto despawn, damn, thank you.
Long hammer is potentially the highest damage a player can do without mods or exploits. Combined with the Mace feat, being orcish so it can be upgraded pretty far,and the fact that it can also be double enchanted, makes it straight fucking beast mode for a vanilla weapon. I recommended any purist trying to dole out outlandish damage without alchemy and smithy stacking to grab it ASAP.
