One of my friends “well to be more accurate a friend of one of my friends” actually worked at Skyrim back when he was employed by Bethesda. Our mutual friend and I asked about how the guards knew about the star a while back And we were told it was because the star gives out a certain glow or something like that Makes it hard to conceal so Those who are aware of it and see that glow or sense it would know if someone was carrying it especially since how rare it is

I was playing the Elderscrolls: Blades killing a bone dragon that the notification of “ yet another 10 tiny details” showed up , and i just tapped on the notification 😁😄 the bone dragon can wait 😏
I have another fun fact I noticed just watching this. One of the dragons named in the Atlas of Dragons, Nahfahlaar, is a dovah whom we ally with during the Elsweyr dlc for ESO. Just thought that was a neat reference. Also the fact that the Dragonguard comes back during that expansion. It’s neat to hear he was protected by King Casimir II, but sad that he’s now been lost and unheard from.
I started playing Skyrim in 2012, and just two days ago I came to know that the quest to revive the gildergreen can be done in two ways, that's why I love this game and your videos Nate
I think the reason why so many Skyrim characters have ancestors with a similar if not the same job as them is due to back in ancient and medieval times professions were passed down the family line. Not only due to familial tradition but to keep those trades in check to make sure not too many people worked them. And who best to do it than people who had been born and raised into it.
I took a break from watching these for like 5 MONTHS and I come back to the channel and there are STILL enough tiny details to make a video about. THIS GAME IS INCREDIBLE
Bonus* Swim the waters toward the icon for Solestheim and on the adjacent island you will find a Skelton you can loot for a few septums and bone meal and sitting on the ground will be a few gold bars and the book Beggar with a dagger in it
About Azura's Star, it's more accurate to say it can hold any size white soul. The way you phrased it could be interpreted to mean that 'it holds multiple souls [at once]'. Regardless, the Black Star is clearly superior, since black souls are plentiful and 'grand' in size, but black soul gems are less readily available (and more expensive). Also, the Black Star can apparently store white souls, though I think the Unofficial Patch removed that ability.
It’s funny what that cook says about the orc, because that’s the true race of the Gourmet. If the soup doesn’t have Astrid’s special spice, I assume you aren’t automatically attacked until you try murdering to death “Is that your pet Mama, he looks really scary,” my character’s daughter asked that after Serana turned my Dragonborn into a vampire for the soul cairn. Now the daughter doesn’t stop saying it. Even when I’m no longer a vampire or werewolf, nothing is following me and it’s still being said. Glitch or what
My son: "He said a boy lived in that house all alone until the Dark Brotherhood came and got him. Scary, huh?" Me, the leader of the Dark Brotherhood: "Yeah.... Scary."
For anyone who's played the game passionately, that's clear from the get-go. So many dialogues, quests, locations, npc's, items, facts, etc. It's amazing to be honest.
I know its cheesy, but got of respect for you Nate. Great content. Simple. And actually shocking that you show me something new everytime in a game I thought I knew everything
I remember in one playthrough I sided with the Reiklings just so I could recruit them to charge the Ebony blade. For those who don't want to kill any named companions, that is an easy way to still max out the Ebony blade enchantment.
I've not watched all the videos, so forgive me if you already know this. If I recall correctly, you once released the tip that you don't have to activate an ore vein to watch the mining animation -- you can just equip a pickaxe and chip away at it as if it were an enemy. As long as you don't hit any innocent miners in the process, you're done quicker. Thanks for this tip, whoever gave it, because it got me thinking. You probably know that this process is governed by so-called 'Form lists', specifically the ones called mineOreToolsList, DLC2StalhrimMineOreToolsList and woodChoppingAxes. If you're on PC and have the Creation Kit installed, you can add objects to these lists yourself. If that's a piece of clothing or a misc item and you have it in your inventory, the game will treat that as if a pickaxe or wood axe was in your inventory and enable you to play the animation. If it's a dagger, you can equip it and hit the vein in a blinding pace for quick results. But the most cheaty method, which I've been using for a few years now (which is why I'm surprised I haven't heard others suggest it), is to make a very lethal concentrated aimed spell (ConcAim) that I have equipped by default, and then add this spell to the respective form lists. Cast and hold this spell on an ore vein, and the ore comes flying into your inventory in mere seconds. The more powerful the spell is, the quicker it works. If you've also made a custom Magic Effect with a customized Projectile (magic beam), you can cast it on ore veins that are incredibly far away. This does not seem to work on wood chopping blocks though -- here, having the spell in your inventory only means you don't have to lug a chopping axe around.
Hey Nate, not that it's too big of a note but noticing dialogue Gianna had for your wood elf, I recently used a wood elf too and got a different dialogue (she mentioned that she knew the Gourmet would be a wood elf and something about how being a wood elf gave me knowledge of herbs for cooking).
I don't know if you've mentioned this before, but during the hircine quest if you choose not to kill sinding and leave hircine takes the curse off the ring as the reward, but if you then go straight back into the cave and kill sinding, you will also get the armor when you leave again
Oh Nate. My dear, sweet Nate. I have come to you in a state of such terrible forlorn. Once upon a time, I was a loyal, humble follower of your wholesome content, and nary a day went by when I did not check my notifications for a new video from your channel... but my aspirations & notions of grandeur became too fierce to quell on my own, and so I found myself cast out into the cold, bleak abyss of the UA-cams. I only found any solace in Game of Thrones content, and as a fan of that world, I clung to every fragment of every badass theory that my fellow fans had put together. And so I began to believe that I was saved. I found a comfort & peace in the company of my fellow GoT fans that I hadn’t known since the time I first played an Elder Scrolls game. I waited of course, just as any other, for the Long Night to end & season 8 to finally rear its mythical head. And when it did... when the tide of cliche writing & shock value came washing over us, most were too foolhardy, or perhaps too attached to understand that the magical show that we once gathered & watched with starlight in our eyes is no longer the same. The magic that made that world so pure & wholesome compared to other tv shows was truly gone... vanished into the night, leaving the characters that we watched develop & evolve over the many years to a grim, cold fate that they did not deserve. The script was barren of anything impactful, especially compared to previous seasons. It was at this time... at this end, as the foundations of my newfound solitude were falling down around me, that I understood who had been there for me all along. And that all I needed to do to keep from drowning in this cold, dark sea of torment was reach out to him. To you. And so, treading through the waters of cancel & outrage culture, with one last good breath in my lungs, I spake your name. *”Nate! Oh, Nate... where for art thou, Nate!”* Now, at the brink of my own existence, sinking helplessly back into the abyss beneath my feet & losing all notions of hope, I felt a hand grasp my virtual wrist. A voice rang out, a voice so mighty that the very skies seemed to tear asunder, baying me to ease my troubled heart. Before I knew it, I was surrounded by my fellow brothers once again, sailing away from the very same waters which I had almost lost myself in. Now, as I warm myself by my hearth’s fire, I find what peace & comfort I can in Nate’s content, of which there is an abundance. With every new Skyrim details video, i find my heart warm with the heat of solace, knowing that all is still right with the world. For when the story ends... when there are no more details to be found in Skyrim... then, and only then, will we find ourselves truly alone. I am with you once more, EpicNate. My heart is yours, my sword is yours, and if you should ever be in danger I shall defend your majesty with both.
hows it going guys it nate here and skyrim is a very big game with a lot of content where even after 7 years most players dont know everything about it now on to our first item i have talked about it a lot on this channel before = the start of every nate video ever not even dissing i love you man
Here's a tiny detail you probably didn't know: Those barrels outside of Warmaidens in Whiterun? I don't think they count as safe storage for a homeless dragonborn, but I've stored excess items in them for a time without issue. Why bring this up? Well, initially, they contain some sort of fruit and veg, like apples and carrots. But if you dump armor and weapons into them, then visit Adrienne or Ulfberth and examine their inventory, everything you put in that they'd normally sell themselves will show up on their offered items.
I forget if Dawnguard and Hearthfire came out at the same time but if they did they probably used the same child voice lines for the hellhounds you could bring home from Castle Volkihar. I always keep CuSith with me
I don’t know if you’ve covered it, but if you’ve already leanrne parts of the whirlwind sprint when you go to the greybeards, they’ll say something like “I’ve see you’ve already started to learn the whirlwind sprint...” then teach you the second or third word, and unlock whatever is next in the shout
When I played through as a Wood Elf, Gianna actually says that she knew the Gourmet was a wood elf, because of their knowledge on foraged spices and such from the forests
I had got a secret I found in Skyrim (maybe idk) Use the unrelenting force in the bannered mare tavern, then leave, you will see (Idk if this is anything new, I’m not very well versed in Skyrim, I found this out because Lydia was in the way 😆)
More reikling secrets 1 they can pick any lock on any chests they can reach 2 they can carry unlimited weight as long you drop the items on the ground or put them in a chest 3you get a reikling wedding guest or atleast I did get one as my only guest on my side because I immediately rushed to thirsk mead hall and finished the first half of the quest but hadn't become chief yet so I'm not sure if you get the guest after completing the quest or if one only shows up mid quest 4try equipping your reikling with a dragon priest mask with the desired effects you want your reikling to have and also have a helmet with the same attributes or similar ones and you might accidentally get the glitch that can allow the reikling to Equip a helmet and dragon priest mask at the same time and turn him into an engine of destruction by stacking damage or defence effects (results may vary) it might work with any helmet but I find a helmet with archery bonuses seem to like to combine with the krosis mask at random times *if you get the glitch quicksave or just never take the mask from the reikling cause it might never work again or it might work every time it seems kind of random
maybe fun to add in the next video bit if you all didnt know the horse arvak that you can obtain in the dawnguard DLC is a reference to arvakr, arvarkr is one of the 2 horses in norse mythos that pulls the suns chariot. said chariot is driven by sol (another name for the sun). i just came up to me whilst i was studying norse mythos
I think I was one of the ones who posted earlier about the tenth tiny detail! I remember stumbling on it and thinking, "Does Nate know about this?" Well now he does :)
Hey Nate love you videos. I have tiny detail I don't think I've seen covered. Dark Brotherhood torture victims. After you upgraded the DB sanctuary if you do damage to the torture victims and interact with them like you're speaking to them they will direct you to hidden treasure.
Nate, there is a note in the house where Aventus stays. If you take windhelm as the imperials does the notes author change? The original author is Ulfric. Hmmm.
another stormcloak soldier was flung in the air by alduin during the destruction of helgen, right after hadvar and ralof run into eachother, also depressingly enough during that same event you can find a burned corpse holding what looks like a baby right before they meet in a house
I briefly remember, and I know I remember this but I just don’t remember where, that in a Falmer cave or Dwarven ruin with Falmer, that there was this one area where it was suggested that Falmer had captured some humans, including a human Nord/Breton woman. They were both already dead when I arrived to wipe out the others, but the way they were positioned next to each other...seemed to tell a story of its own. Not sure if you’ll ever find this, and it isn’t much to go on, but just a heads up!
Nate, always love the vids! As someone who has been introduced to Skyrim rather late, I love finding these little nuggets! Thanks for the entertainment!
I don't recall hearing you mention this one: At the highest peak of the Throat of the World, there's a reference to Minecraft; an item called the Notched Pickax with a unique enchantment.
Small correction! Children also say that line if you have a deathhound with you. That indicates to me the line was just copy and pasted for Rieklings too.
Random fact/glitch:at 2:21 I know how to get both the ring and the armor. First you must agree to help the Wearwolf, Once the mission is complete go find a bed and sleep for an hour. Then return back to the Wearwolf and kill him collect his fur. Then leave the cave and talk to the moose and tell him that you've killed the Wearwolf and he'll give you the armor along with the ring
I wish you'd stop with the _"X insignificant character is related to someone in ESO"_ secrets. They're not secrets about Skyrim, they're interesting facts about ESO, and it feels like you're using them as filler to pad out the lists. The rest of them are good btw, the one about the Reiklings was interesting as a look into how Bethesda does things. I wonder though if children say that about any other fierce pets, and it may not have been done in advance purely for the Rieklings.
I can see it now: TES: 6. A hero by the name of Nate can be found traveling around the continent. His hero name is Epic Nate. Once an apprentice of Hermaeus Mora, he knows everything about everything. And he is very happy to tell you a random bit of information for a measly sum of 5 coins. 5 coins for a piece of info is great. He can also tell you secrets, or tell you about hidden quests and unknown locations. He is also a historian. Which means for 10 coins he will give you a history lesson. And for 15 he will give you an entire history of your chosen topic. He also has great stories of his own and is a joy to be around.
I dont know if you mentioned this in a video but if do the side quest in Markarth where you get imprisoned in the silver deep mine and you side with the forsworn, later when doing the haunted house quest and you go retrieve the priest molag ball wants the forsword guarding the priest wont attack you and be natural and just let you take him.

What size are you pockets to be able to carry Azura's star in it lol
Dragon sized
I mean you can pickpocket daggers or even war axes out of peoples “pockets”
@@user-ys3jq3uf4p do you have a problem with the 20 different swords I'm carrying right now? Haha
I took a break from watching these for like 5 MONTHS and I come back to the channel and there are STILL enough tiny details to make a video about. THIS GAME IS INCREDIBLE
Bonus* Swim the waters toward the icon for Solestheim and on the adjacent island you will find a Skelton you can loot for a few septums and bone meal and sitting on the ground will be a few gold bars and the book Beggar with a dagger in it
Everyone: ....
TheEpicNate315: ANOTHER DETAILS YOU MISSED IN TES 5!!!!!
You know itsa amazing that after all this time we still learn things. So much lore and everything. This is by far my favorite UA-cam channel
My favorite guard comment when carrying a specific weapon
"Aye now there's a beautiful sword like a sliver of midnight."
Great video Nate! I always learn something thanks to your videos :) btw whats the armor in the thumbnail???
It’s funny what that cook says about the orc, because that’s the true race of the Gourmet. If the soup doesn’t have Astrid’s special spice, I assume you aren’t automatically attacked until you try murdering to death
“Is that your pet Mama, he looks really scary,” my character’s daughter asked that after Serana turned my Dragonborn into a vampire for the soul cairn. Now the daughter doesn’t stop saying it. Even when I’m no longer a vampire or werewolf, nothing is following me and it’s still being said. Glitch or what
It's kinda hard to notice these tiny details with 360p
My son: "He said a boy lived in that house all alone until the Dark Brotherhood came and got him. Scary, huh?"
Me, the leader of the Dark Brotherhood: "Yeah.... Scary."
I thought Skyrim was big but wow. Bethesda went all out
For anyone who's played the game passionately, that's clear from the get-go.
So many dialogues, quests, locations, npc's, items, facts, etc.
It's amazing to be honest.
And they haven't put no where near as much effort in any of their other works since
@@henrichvonruben9114 ikr fallout 4 was such a disappoint
I know its cheesy, but got of respect for you Nate. Great content. Simple. And actually shocking that you show me something new everytime in a game I thought I knew everything
Love your channel Nate keep up the good work
I remember in one playthrough I sided with the Reiklings just so I could recruit them to charge the Ebony blade.
There are so many things we've missed in Skyrim
*”Nate! Oh, Nate... where for art thou, Nate!”*
Now, at the brink of my own existence, sinking helplessly back into the abyss beneath my feet & losing all notions of hope, I felt a hand grasp my virtual wrist.
I used to be an adventurer like you, until i got murdered to death..
hows it going guys it nate here and skyrim is a very big game with a lot of content where even after 7 years most players dont know everything about it now on to our first item i have talked about it a lot on this channel before = the start of every nate video ever
not even dissing i love you man
Here's a tiny detail you probably didn't know: Those barrels outside of Warmaidens in Whiterun? I don't think they count as safe storage for a homeless dragonborn, but I've stored excess items in them for a time without issue. Why bring this up? Well, initially, they contain some sort of fruit and veg, like apples and carrots. But if you dump armor and weapons into them, then visit Adrienne or Ulfberth and examine their inventory, everything you put in that they'd normally sell themselves will show up on their offered items.
I forget if Dawnguard and Hearthfire came out at the same time but if they did they probably used the same child voice lines for the hellhounds you could bring home from Castle Volkihar. I always keep CuSith with me
People in here are correct, you should totally do a let's play.
Your profile is dark brotherhood. Sorry i couldnt help myself
The unique dialogue for the children also plays when you bring a Death Hound to your home from Castle Volikhar
The sound file is likely just because the rieklings count as pets.
It doesn't play that file for other types of pets...
I think so, my characters kids always say that about my mod pet rabbit
I don’t know if you’ve covered it, but if you’ve already leanrne parts of the whirlwind sprint when you go to the greybeards, they’ll say something like “I’ve see you’ve already started to learn the whirlwind sprint...” then teach you the second or third word, and unlock whatever is next in the shout
When I played through as a Wood Elf, Gianna actually says that she knew the Gourmet was a wood elf, because of their knowledge on foraged spices and such from the forests
🚫🧢
I had got a secret I found in Skyrim (maybe idk)
Use the unrelenting force in the bannered mare tavern, then leave, you will see
(Idk if this is anything new, I’m not very well versed in Skyrim, I found this out because Lydia was in the way 😆)
More reikling secrets
1 they can pick any lock on any chests they can reach
2 they can carry unlimited weight as long you drop the items on the ground or put them in a chest
3you get a reikling wedding guest or atleast I did get one as my only guest on my side because I immediately rushed to thirsk mead hall and finished the first half of the quest but hadn't become chief yet so I'm not sure if you get the guest after completing the quest or if one only shows up mid quest
4try equipping your reikling with a dragon priest mask with the desired effects you want your reikling to have and also have a helmet with the same attributes or similar ones and you might accidentally get the glitch that can allow the reikling to Equip a helmet and dragon priest mask at the same time and turn him into an engine of destruction by stacking damage or defence effects (results may vary) it might work with any helmet but I find a helmet with archery bonuses seem to like to combine with the krosis mask at random times *if you get the glitch quicksave or just never take the mask from the reikling cause it might never work again or it might work every time it seems kind of random
maybe fun to add in the next video bit if you all didnt know the horse arvak that you can obtain in the dawnguard DLC is a reference to arvakr, arvarkr is one of the 2 horses in norse mythos that pulls the suns chariot. said chariot is driven by sol (another name for the sun). i just came up to me whilst i was studying norse mythos
I think I was one of the ones who posted earlier about the tenth tiny detail! I remember stumbling on it and thinking, "Does Nate know about this?" Well now he does :)
Does Nate ever go home though 🤔 I mean he's always here so I wonder.
I like how that sailor at 13:27 glitches and keeps pulling out his piece of bread lol. (not to mention it transforms into a mug for a second).
Hey Nate love you videos. I have tiny detail I don't think I've seen covered. Dark Brotherhood torture victims. After you upgraded the DB sanctuary if you do damage to the torture victims and interact with them like you're speaking to them they will direct you to hidden treasure.
Me:Nate...... enough......How long can this go on 😂!
Nate:10 M o R e T i N y D e T a I L s
I want him to say Skyrim is Dummy T H I C C
Nate, there is a note in the house where Aventus stays. If you take windhelm as the imperials does the notes author change? The original author is Ulfric. Hmmm.
another stormcloak soldier was flung in the air by alduin during the destruction of helgen, right after hadvar and ralof run into eachother, also depressingly enough during that same event you can find a burned corpse holding what looks like a baby right before they meet in a house
I’m sooooo planning to get “Murdered to death” designed T-shirt With “~TheEpicNate315” at the back 😆
13:21 man wiping his side with bread😂
talos is praising me because i was ten seconds after this was posted
the Riekling bit is nice
I briefly remember, and I know I remember this but I just don’t remember where, that in a Falmer cave or Dwarven ruin with Falmer, that there was this one area where it was suggested that Falmer had captured some humans, including a human Nord/Breton woman. They were both already dead when I arrived to wipe out the others, but the way they were positioned next to each other...seemed to tell a story of its own. Not sure if you’ll ever find this, and it isn’t much to go on, but just a heads up!
I hope some day you will make part 69
I'm so glad a new video came out. I almost thought that Skyrim was dead. I can't have that as a Skyrim fan.
Skyrim is a chugnistic game. I'm sure there's a mod that turns the rabbits into big chungus, if there's not then someone will in a couple of minutes.
Go to hell
Azura got some knockers
Nate, always love the vids! As someone who has been introduced to Skyrim rather late, I love finding these little nuggets! Thanks for the entertainment!
I don't recall hearing you mention this one: At the highest peak of the Throat of the World, there's a reference to Minecraft; an item called the Notched Pickax with a unique enchantment.
Small correction! Children also say that line if you have a deathhound with you. That indicates to me the line was just copy and pasted for Rieklings too.
Thank you for more of this information, My Lord. With this, I can continue being your champion. The champion of Hermeus Mora
Random fact/glitch:at 2:21
I know how to get both the ring and the armor.
Hey hate i have a question
Before every 10 tiny details vid, do u have to google different synonyms of big hahahahahahahahahahah
May I ask what ENB do you use? It looks so smooth & relaxing
They say it for death hounds too
I can see it now: TES: 6.
Nahfahlaar in the book is also in the Dragonguard expansion for ESO, which came out after this video.
