@@El_Dee Thats why I much prefer the ebony blade if im going 2 handed. Never needs to be refilled just like the bloodskal, but it also absorbs health which IMO is the best melee enchantment, it swings as fast as a one handed sword similar to the longhammer, and can have its enchantment upgraded

A greatsword (2H) with more defensive enchants which gives fire resistance, magicka absorption and passive health when equipped. It looks gorgeous too; -Duskfang/Dawnfang: also a returning weapon (You could get it in Shivering Isles if memory serves), this one switches enchants depending on if you wield it during the day or at night. I would also put on this list: Umbra. An alternative to Chrysamere and the Bloodskal Blade, Umbra is a deadly greatsword with an even deadlier enchantment: 20 points of health and stamina absorption to keep you in the fight longer while debilitating your enemies, and a 20 second soul trap. This thing will easily refill itself. Just make sure you do, as its soul battery depletes very quickly.

Well, now I have a few places to explore. My collection grows. Thanks for the weapon and armour highlights. Now I can relax in my home, admiring my collection of legendary and exotic weapons. Maybe one of the new weapons added through the anniversary? I need to expand my collection of weapons and armour. Always something new to add.
I always have a harem with me, i just give them the deadra stuff. Serena carrying the necro amulet and dawnbreaker is one of the nastiest combos in the game.
I usually give the Sanguine Rose to my follower and a Staff of Storm/Flame Atronach to my Dead Thralls. Field a small army with me, my follower, my Riekling, two Dead Thralls, a Dremora and two Atronachs.
I wish I could play Skyrim for the first time again. Dragonborn is one the BEST dlcs ever made, specially if you're into Lovecraft. Cosmic horror as its finest. Great video!
Because I'm 99% sure this won't be brought up, the Pale Blade is a fantastic underrated weapon. It has two enchants at base without needing tradeskills, and it has a special quirk. If you get it at it's max level (only 27+), it actually does double stamina damage at 50 points, more than anything you could make without a full alchemy-set-boosted enchanting potion buff. Why does this matter? Because you can manipulate enemies who normally power attack into being just useless half the time, but also because you can ground dragons after just a few strikes. Makes a melee-only build shine in a lot of fights.
unless they fixed it in later versions the mace of Molag Bal has a broken script for recharging the enchantment meaning that you can keep recharging it even if the charge is full which lets you train up enchanting by just continually recharging it as for fiery souls you're better off just disenchanting it, it will allow you to have an even stronger version of the enchantment on ANY kind of weapon aside from a staff cool thing about zephyr is that it's innate draw speed stacks with the quickdraw perk making it even faster
My go to weapon is the Ebony Blade. There's a few easy friend kills, and once it gets up to full power, you usually drain health faster than you lose it.
The Mace of Molag Bal is my personal favorite, powerful, rechargeable weapon unlike most that needs to change. With this, get few gems Stones and/or the star and BOOM, A powerful weapon that basically free
For swords, I'll keep to Dragonbane. It's probably the only weapon in the game that specifically does more damage to dragons, and it lets me have my Samurai weeb moments along with my Viking rage moments. Anyways, gonna get a spells video to add onto this? I figured since you're a wizard and all, y'know.
I think the best part of the Fiery Souls enchantment is that when applying it to another weapon, the scaling isn't for the fire damage but the Soul Trap duration. By minimizing that, you have an almost infinite charge Soul Trap weapon.
Mehrunes' Razor: Thanks to my enchantment I can defeat every opponent in a single hit. That random iron dagger after the restoration loop: Look what you need to mimic a fraction of my power!
I learned a valuable lesson on my last playthrough. Carry many weapons or you'll end up dead from a Draugr death lord who can disarm you multiple times. He disarmed me 3 times and i almost lost the bow of shadows because of it.
The greatest weapon is whatever you smith on your own. Max your Alchemy, Enchantment and Smithing, get the book of Hermaus Mora, Oghma Infinium (it is essential to go back and forth base on whatever you're doing, if doing alchemy, get the path for that. Path of shadow for alchemy, path of Magic for Enchant, and Path of Mighty for Smithing). Aether crown is optional but it saves you the hassle of going back and forth to go to standing stones to change abilities (do assassin and mage stone as you do alchemy and enchanting , the first phase, and mage and warrior for enchanting, smithing, the second phase) and if you can equip notched pickaxe and 4 sets of ahzidal for +10 to armor and enchant, do so. Your enchantment is also affected base on the skill trees too. If you enchant elemental attacks, you need to up your destruction for better results so just a reminder. Do Alchemy that makes your enchantment potent. Then accessories that will enhance your alchemy. Repeat until you Reach the 33% enchantment to everything you can enchant. That makes your potion of enchantment reach their max threshold. Now make a potion for enchantment that enchant smithing. If you have champions cudgel enchantment, use that enchantment as it is the best enchantment of all. Since you have max enchantment, you have the double effect and it is up to you to get absorb health, magicka or stamina as second option. I suggest fiery soul trap though. You'll be seeing result as high as 900-1000+ physical damage, 900-1000+ for element damage, and since it is a champions cudgel, a chance to proc 3 elements at once, that leaves you with 2700-3000+ damage, and fiery soul fire trap with 900-1000+ damage. All in all, you have 3000-5000+ damage chance on every hit. Problem with this is fight with the three bosses (Paarthurnax, Miraak, Harkon), glitched out. You might need to rerun a save until glitch gets resolved or have someone fight for you and just sit your cute little asset as they take them down for you 😂. They can't laso kill you if you have a beast of an armor so no need to worry bout that. Just be careful with ebony as those enchantments you put can also definitely kill you back. I suggest when killing him, use cudgel effect with absorb health and ready your healing spell or pots in shorcut keys when fighting him. That is all.
Usually if I need to hit something, I just use magic since I am Spellsword usually, never got why you would mess with bows when dual handed lighting is a thing.
@@Subject_Keter An enchanted bow (even without smithing) can do more damage than dual handed lightning. On top of that the bow can be used whithout being noticed without the need of getting a certain perk. On legendary spells feel rather weak.
here's my pick Dagger: fang of haynekhtnamet Mace: Mace of Molag Bal Staff: Wabbajack Sword: Hopesfire War Axe: Cleaver Of St. Felms. Battle Axe: Tsun's Judgement Great Sword: Umbra War Hammer: Nerveshatter Bow: Dwarven Black Bow of faith / Bow of Shadows
@@User18dog if you have a follower that will use a staff, like serana, she will pull the rose out and summon her own dremora, then you can add your own two
I seem to remember the Mace of Molag Bal’s base damage scaling with your level, so if you’re planning on using it, I’d advise waiting a bit to do The House of Horrors. Though that might just be my bad memory
I think that the Champion’s Cudgel is the best war hammer, it has the chaos enchantment which is a 50% chance to activate ice, fire, and/or shock for 25dmg upon each strike
I would like to make the Argument for the Bound Sword being pretty OP. High Elves, Bretons, and Nords can get the Mystic Binding Perk stupidly early (for bretons you literally only need 2 perks), meaning it's possible to have a sword with 0 weight, a pretty high swing speed, and the same base damage as a Daedric sword, AT LEVEL 3! And because it's a Novice spell (and we need the novice perk to get Mystic Binding) it only costs 39 magicka to cast. And for an added bonus, at 30 Conjuration (which you'll likely end up with just from using the Bound Sword and summoning it in combat) you can get Soul Stealer which adds Soul Trap to all Bound weapons (except the Bound Quiver from Anniversary Edition), and at 50 Conjuration you can get the Oblivion Binding Perk, making it so that any summoned or raised beings up to level 99. And Remember, speaking strictly in terms of damage this only needs 2 perks, but if you invest all 4 you then have a mighty weapon in hand that can't be disarmed by shouts. At that point it almost doesn't matter that you can't improve it at a grindstone (but that's what Enchanting is for!)
When it comes to archery my favorite is the final dwarves crossbow with explosive bolts. With full smithing it is an almost guaranteed one hit kill as a stealth archer
There’s a ax and sword that do duo effects off of each other that are unique weapons I think it’s like woad and oah or something like that. I used them all the time in my longest play through.
I love the mace of what his face and the stunning sword. I hope next game has a system like Spellsword mod, where you can enchant a sword to lighting strike a target you hit. Then have unique stuff like a grand cut out for the dual wield pirate blades or the mace suckingthe life out the target to weaken them.
How do those daggers work well together? It seems to me like pairing an instantly killing weapon with a a weopon that just does damage will just cause ypu to lose all the damage done with your off hand. It seems to me like the second weapon wouldn't actually do anything. It would make much more sense to pair it with, say, a shield.
Let's be honest, if your using daggers it's a sneak build. Then in alchemy lingering damage health combined with poisons last twice as long everything is dead.
@@Christina-g4s why would you want lingering damage on a dagger whose main feature is an instant kill? Actually, if you're doing stealth, that's due to the high damage multiplier, right? So why even use the instant kill dagger, rather than something that maximises damage?

- You can use it in situations where your weapons are taken away like eg. in jail
- It can also capture souls with the right perk but doesn't need recharging
Only downside is the cost of summoning it. Depending on your race, it can take anywhere between ~180-190 magicka to cast so you need to invest in magicka to use it.
Didn't know that the mace can be increased by the augment flames perk and this is coming from someone who plays these games a lot since it came out
This man’s content is second to none 🔥.
Your Skyrim videos are entertaining and really useful.
This might be my favorite Skyrim channel. 🧙🏼♂️
Ebony blade is literally the most op you can’t die if you keep swinging
You know it's a good morning when theWelshWizard uploads.
nothing compares to weapons you can create, smith, and enchant yourself.
True but it is a lot of skill investment just for one weapon.
Omg I've never heard anyone pronounce staves like that, that gave me a chuckle. Great video too wonder what the next will be
How have you heard it?
That's... How you're supposed to pronounce it
Well, now I have a few places to explore. My collection grows. Thanks for the weapon and armour highlights. Now I can relax in my home, admiring my collection of legendary and exotic weapons. Maybe one of the new weapons added through the anniversary? I need to expand my collection of weapons and armour. Always something new to add.
Honestly, with that intro, I'm going to need to get a tankard of mead and watch more videos. :)
😂😂😂😂😂 the way welsh just folds in half swinging the bloodskall blade is hilarious
Clutch for showing us how to truly get out of the dark brotherhood test, i didn't clairvoyance shows up then I forgot 😅
Mace of Molag Bal is just unboubtedly one of the coolest looking weapons in the game.
18:22 What's the mod that shows the trajectory line for your bow and arrow?
Hi I love your channel this video is good keep up the good work❤
They're all fun, but it's so easy to make your own op weapons (and that's without absurd glitches ect).
It's not a bug, it's a feature
@@herbalyzoltan409 insane cope, just admit its abusing bugs
*A HAIL THE WABAJAK!*
I never get tired of watching these videos I still play Skyrim elder scrolls. to this very Day.
“Swift whisper of an arrow” is great
unless they fixed it in later versions the mace of Molag Bal has a broken script for recharging the enchantment meaning that you can keep recharging it even if the charge is full which lets you train up enchanting by just continually recharging it
as for fiery souls you're better off just disenchanting it, it will allow you to have an even stronger version of the enchantment on ANY kind of weapon aside from a staff
cool thing about zephyr is that it's innate draw speed stacks with the quickdraw perk making it even faster
My go to weapon is the Ebony Blade. There's a few easy friend kills, and once it gets up to full power, you usually drain health faster than you lose it.
I always, love dragon Bane, the cool aesthetics for it and the dragon killing aspect of it.
The Mace of Molag Bal is my personal favorite, powerful, rechargeable weapon unlike most that needs to change. With this, get few gems Stones and/or the star and BOOM, A powerful weapon that basically free
Ah, Windshear my beloved
For swords, I'll keep to Dragonbane. It's probably the only weapon in the game that specifically does more damage to dragons, and it lets me have my Samurai weeb moments along with my Viking rage moments.
Anyways, gonna get a spells video to add onto this? I figured since you're a wizard and all, y'know.
I think the best part of the Fiery Souls enchantment is that when applying it to another weapon, the scaling isn't for the fire damage but the Soul Trap duration. By minimizing that, you have an almost infinite charge Soul Trap weapon.
17:12 when the mage build sees an enemy rushing towards them
In all my years of skyrim im glad to say everytime i tries to play stealth archer i became a shield and sword knight of destruction
Mehrunes' Razor: Thanks to my enchantment I can defeat every opponent in a single hit.
That random iron dagger after the restoration loop: Look what you need to mimic a fraction of my power!
The best weapons are the friends you made along the way those wonderful frost/chaos enchanted stalhrim friends.
I learned a valuable lesson on my last playthrough. Carry many weapons or you'll end up dead from a Draugr death lord who can disarm you multiple times. He disarmed me 3 times and i almost lost the bow of shadows because of it.
Personally, my favourite is the Ebony Blade
Dragon Bone Plate, armour upgrades+this weapon? God tier.
Windshear is cool but what do you know about BOLARS OATHBLADE
I have never done an Archer build in Skyrim. I have very very rarely got my Sneak past 40.
Usually if I need to hit something, I just use magic since I am Spellsword usually, never got why you would mess with bows when dual handed lighting is a thing.
I always loved Assassin Archer. My sneak was always maxed and I'd just run around pretty much one hitting everything up close or far away ha
@@Subject_Keter An enchanted bow (even without smithing) can do more damage than dual handed lightning. On top of that the bow can be used whithout being noticed without the need of getting a certain perk. On legendary spells feel rather weak.
here's my pick
Dagger: fang of haynekhtnamet
Mace: Mace of Molag Bal
Staff: Wabbajack
Sword: Hopesfire
War Axe: Cleaver Of St. Felms.
Battle Axe: Tsun's Judgement
Great Sword: Umbra
War Hammer: Nerveshatter
Bow: Dwarven Black Bow of faith / Bow of Shadows
I remember when I first found the Razor as a kid 13 years ago, I flipped the fuck out. I was like "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THIS CAN INSTAKILL, THAT'S INSANE"
Also I love that enemy health ui
My favorite thing to do with the sanguine rose is to give it to a follower, that way i can have three dremora
How does that work
@@User18dog if you have a follower that will use a staff, like serana, she will pull the rose out and summon her own dremora, then you can add your own two
@@griswoldgriswold8150 oh I gotcha, I have followers but they’re pets I didn’t know you could have people followers
The wabbajack and Champions Chudgel are really good too. I’ve used the champions chudgels enchantment in almost every plalythrough
What mod at 2:15 makes it show how much dmg you do per hit?
Did you ever find out😂
@@Wadeyt123 i did not 😂😔
i love you the welsh wizard i love youuuuuuuuuuuu
I gotta say, my personal favorite of the unique daggers is Keening, I’m a big fan of the high swing speed and stamina and health drain
Me: Christ, what a day :/
@theWelshWizard: Greetings Wizard!!!
Nice video! Thx for advices, do u have the same for shields? :)
Spellbreaker is the best unique shield. It’s got the highest base armor and creates a ward that protects against spells
There’s a ax and sword that do duo effects off of each other that are unique weapons I think it’s like woad and oah or something like that. I used them all the time in my longest play through.
very off topic but all these years i’ve played and not once have i thought about getting a mod for health bars above enemies
Fiery souls with a twinsoul that actually applies meaningful damage is awesome
That wizard outfit is litty
I prefer the Ebony Blade over the Bloodskal blade but to each their own 🥸
I love the mace of what his face and the stunning sword.
@@tommarsdon5644 its used as a contingency plan or for when wandering outside and a sabre cat ambushes you.
My stealth characters are unarmoured,
I need a backup
@@Christina-g4s I see. Why use your offhand for your contingency though? Does Skyrim not allow you to switch instantly?
@@tommarsdon5644 my off hand would contain a 2nd dagger, with dual flurry perk to have really fast attack speed.
I don't smith or enchant with that kinda build, I make pure race builds so only spec into skills that start at 20 and 25.
Windshear is the wabbajack of swords it's just stupid fun and I'm all for it
Welsh you should make a video with ranking and reviewing your top 10 favorite Skyrim mods
