Mexican Blood Leg sounds like a wrestling move
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
3:25... I love it, that's some spidey attitude right there, lol... the walk of a spider that KNOWS she's beautiful
Not gonna lie, I'm a big fan of the 90's themed title screen intro!
Great video buddy! Beautiful species
Such a great video!
Your intros are like the best on UA-cam 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Excellent care & husbandry video, as always!
I'd love to see a video like this about Pterinopelma sazimai!
Obrigada Richard pela legenda em espanhol cara, era só isso que estava faltando no seu canal! 👏🏼❤️🇧🇷
Fantastic, and great information and beautiful shots of her walking about and along your hands, the soundtrack was also class!
Thanks! I am a huge fan of music...so i enjoy the task of sifting through tons of tracks finding music I enjoy to use in a soundtrack. Some people dont like that I have music playing in the background of my vids....but I couldn't imagine doing it any other way..lol
What a beautiful tarantula! I’m very very new In my love for tarantulas ( I’m still trying to talk my husband into getting one ) but your videos are helping me learn a lot so I know how to properly care for them ! Thank you ❤️
Ian always excited for Tuesday’s now☺️☺️
Thanks for another great video!!
Thank you for watching Walt!
Getting my SALEDONIA tomorrow omgggggooossshhhh! Wish me luck! Unboxing soon! Thanks for the videos! I been watching to get tips

Attendancr check, your no.1 fan from the Philippines!!! Again nice video bro!!!
Thank you my friend!
Awesome cinematography!! And a very informative video!
Thanks! It was a lot of fun to make. Trying to develop these cinematic skills.
Some really gorgeous shots of this beautiful tarantula, thanks! Love the slow-mo with the butt in the air.
Thanks :)
Dude! Your videos just keep getting better and better. Some gorgeous footage in this one. Definitely a species on my wish list. Keep up the good work. 🤓👍🏼
My Wife spilled the tea, said my Father In Law Got me a Juvenile Blood Leg for Christmas I thought he bought that for himself I saw him with it last time I saw him and he told me he bought it but he told my wife he bought it for me for Christmas and my wife accidentally told me..
Hi Richard,
Great video as always. I'd like to see you do a care and husbandry video on the Brachypelma Auratum.
Great suggestion. Thank you. I have it on the list !
3:18 that is one of the scenes why i prefer you over every other tarantula-keeper-youtubechannel! I always love how nicely you film your tarantulas, open and outside their enclosures. On most other channels you can see the tarantulas only for some seconds outside, when they are fed and bolt at the prey. Awesome Video!
Thanks! I really enjoy filming them like this. They are the stars of the show...not me. I'm just the guy holding the camera and talking about them. :) I'm an over glorified hype man for the Ts... lol
@@tarantulacollective Yeah your videos/enclosures and Ts are always presented very cool! I just love your work
Nice job Richard. Definitely getting one of these when the prices drop
I'd love to see about Aphonopelma Moderatum!
1st. i love your chanel
Thanks!
Really nice T , just happy to say I have one , and can be quick While growing up , the T spends most of the time at the top , thanks fir the great video , as always ten out of ten . be safe and most of all be happy 😃😃😃👍🏻
Right on, you be safe as well.
My A.hentzi SLING is super slow at growing! 😔 But I was happy to wake up to a successful moult this morning 😎👍 thanks for sharing 🤜🤛
Love these red legged critters, could you perhaps give us more info on selenocosmia arndsti? Not alot of info on this beauty, a video would be awesome on it.
TARANTULA IQ. Is right here.all you need 🔥❣️
Ooohhhh. I gotta git me some of these! 😁👍👍👍 gorgeous Ts!
Yes you do Maxy..they're such sweethearts
Fabulous video Richard! amazing colours and great to see some video of it's home area in Mexico. nice idea man. I managed to pick up one of these dudes a month ago but yeah they're expensive over this side of the pond and only available at 1/3" or 1/4". Sounds like I gotta hit retirement before Mengele here hits 3 ". Yikes.. *grin*
LoL....I feel that...some of my Ts might almost outlive me. Glad you enjoyed the video!
That song reminds me of Pink Floyd's "wish you were here" ! This sounds awesome too!
Great video well done on veiws and subscribers I'm new to the hobby you helping me a lot with your videos thank you
Thanks so much. And welcome to the hobby!
Great video as usual 🤙🏾Do a video about Pterinopelma Sazimai? They don't get enough coverage 😔
My favorite Tarantula
Planning to have one 😊
My attempted escapé Albiceps is still doing great and eating. I put all slings except for the tinytiny Chilensis out of their vials and in tiny food trays so they have a little more ground and ventilation :)
Very good video! :D Hi from germany! ;D
Hello to you all the way out in Germany! I hope to visit that area one day!
Hi rich...what about a top ten arboreal tarantula list? Mixed new/old Id love to see that. And I love the overlooked top ten 👍🏻
Beautiful t looks a lot like the Megaphobema robustum. I have one of these but not a fire leg think I need to go shopping 😂❤️
Such a pretty T!
Leeeeets Goooo!🔥
Hello Richard! I absolutely L.O.V.E. your channel! I´m a (former) sufferer of Arachnophobia but since a few years now i´m absolutely in love with those fuzzy critters! ^^ Unfortunately there is a species that i´m totally interested in but i´m not really able to dig a whole lot information up about them ... I´m talking about the "Chaetopelma olivaceum"; i really think that they are totally underrated and can´t seem to find a whole lot ppl who have them. Well, not here in Europe (Austria to be more specific) where i live. It really is a shame, i´m quite fond of them ... If you could be so kind and (maybe) one day make a Husbandry Video about them, i would be absolutely overjoyed!!! Even on UA-cam i can´t really find a decent Video about them .... that is really frustrating because i would love to keep them but - as a responsible keeper should do first - i need more information about them before i attempt to keep them; i want to provide the best care possible for them. Thank you very much in advance and have good one! :D
you are not the first person to request this species. I am trying to put together some info and experience so I can get a video out there for you all! :)
@@tarantulacollective OMG, you are the BEST! Thank you so much in advance, i really appreciate that! :D Love you to pieces!!!
Nice vid! Really having fun with my first tarantula which is a G. Pulchripes. Also, do you have a Ceratogyrus Meridonialis? Im planning on getting one so I need to know how to care for them
Do p.irminia. that one would be cool to watch
Desperate to find one of these in the uk to add to my collection. Seem hard to find. Thanks
Tina is here. It's 6:08 am. and nope, haven't slept yet so I'm hangin' with you, Richard
C.Fimbriatus & N.Tripepii for next Tarantula tuesday pls!
Can you do a video about the Lampropelma Sp. Black (Borneo Black)?? Would be awesome..! Greetings from Holland.
Mr. Richard im chris from Philippines do have any philippines tarantula :) can you do next video soon for them .. Thank you
Would you consider doing a video about gifts for tarantula keepers? 😱
Not only have I considered it...it is already in the works :)
Tom Moran did a top 10 beginner Ts list. Just wondering what your thoughts were on someone interested in getting there first T. Species and ease of care/ forgiveness of mistakes ect. My insect experience is limited, 4 years of ants and a year of amateur bee keeping.
could you do a video on the top 10 heavy webbers :)
Definitely. I have it on the list of videos to make and plan on putting it together soon.
Please do soon cant wait .I like the webbed up encloses
Ugh, I'm pretty sure my A. hentzi was WC. I make efforts to only buy CB, now, though!
How about a Poecilotheria video? Pokies are always beautiful to see.
I have a few more in the works, but you can check out my video on the Poecilotheria metallica here: ua-cam.com/video/ouHfMU4qkCA/v-deo.html
And the Poecilotheria ornata here:

I have 1
What a beauty 😍 in europa aphonopelmas are very hard too get.
I have heard that. They're such a chill and hardy species.
Nhandu Chromatus 🕷️💯
Richard, do you recommend the use of springtails in the tanks? thanks!
I do recomend them in humid enclosures.
Do you happen to own Pamphobeteus sp. solaris? Your Husbandry video on this specie will be exciting to watch. There are not many videos nor pictures after all..
Very informative video 👍
At which temperatures do you keep your bicoloratum?
I keep her the same temps as most my Ts. At room temperature around 70-72f
@@tarantulacollective
Thanks for the info Richard.😉
9:54 - 10:15 One of my biggest dreams. I'd love to handle a tarantula like that. Haven't had the opportunity yet, but I haven't given up hope. Also, here's a hopeful suggestion for a future care & husbandry video: Grammostola Pulchra (Brazilian Black). However, if you've already covered this species, let me know and I'll find the video on your user page :)
Thanks for watching this video! You can check out my video on the Grammastola pulchra here: ua-cam.com/video/3jLfkfrd0Z4/v-deo.html
Do you have scoripions? I want one but what kind is good for beginner
When they molt do they look more red right away? I cant tell the difference between the blood leg and the fire leg. My tarantula looked really red right after molt. Now its been a couple weeks and it looks more lighter colored. Kinda orange.
How do I tell the difference between my so called mexican fire leg and this one? I just bought it at petco a couple days ago and it’s a juvenile. It looks exactly like this one how it’s more orange then red but petco labeled it fireleg
I'd like to make this my first. Too bad they are so expensive :(
what do you use to drill holes in your acrylic enclosures? do you use the dremel you have in your amazon page?
Usually, that's what I use. Sometimes I use a power drill, but if you use a power drill you have to very careful because once the bit goes through the plastic the drill can slam down on the acrylic and crack it. That's why I usually opt for the dremel when making the small enclosures.
3:30!
h lividum please please
👏🏽🇧🇷
I have a brachypelma hamori... How often do you recommend clean their Enclosure..
I just clean out the bolus is I can find one can that’s basically it
Every week
6:56 where did you get that enclosure?
The acykuc enclosure I got from the hobby store...I think it is for a football or something. The 2.5 gallon I got from petco.
Do you have a cobalt blue? If not please get one. I had one for years. It was the most skittish and angriest tarantula Iv owned. The green bottle blue had nothing on the little devil
I have an adult female and a little juvenile cobalt blue 😎
No offense but I just wonder how much you spend on Ts each month?
I buy Tarantulas maybe twice a year. Other than that they're fairly low maintenance. Substrate is cheap, feeders are cheap, most of the enclosure I make myself from amac boxes that only cost a buck or two each or buy them second hand. I actually made an entire video on the topic you can see here:
ua-cam.com/video/MHoVlAaklco/v-deo.html
the_tarantula_collective thanks, I asked it because I am a student and is saving a lot of money on these critters
Im a student as well and I tell you the only thing I save up for this hobby is getting a new tarantula 😂
Is it crossbreed?
this species can be little defensive and show a threat pose when you disturb it too much
M Robustum
4th comment
if you where a tarantula witch one do you think you would be?
i think that i will be a curly hair tarantula because i have the same hair as her when i wake up
i would say the GBB because it is my favorite...but I think everyone else would say OBT...bc of my red hair and bad attitude..lol
the_tarantula_collective I guess I also chose curly hair because it is my favorite one but we also have some similarities and that’s why it’s my first (and only) tarantula
Really hoping wherever you live theres not an earthquake.
Luckily where I live there is very little threat of earthquakes, hurricanes, or any natural disasters like that. Largest earthquake ever recorded around here was a 2.6.
@@tarantulacollective that's great. I live in cali and starting to get into the hobby and I worry about earthquakes lol.
