In Persona 3 MC overcomes the fear of death, and he doesn't view death as anything scary and that's why he used it without any difficulties unlike Yukari who knows the Evoker isn't an actual gun but she is still afraid of death. The Evoker is the symbol of death and 'shooting' yourself shows you accepting death without fear and accepting your own mortality. This is just some info on the Persona 3 awakening because I saw people who are new to the series ask why he tried to commit suicide and weren't joking.
I only just started playing Persona 3 FES today and absolutely agree. I have the settings for Yukari and Junpei on Act Freely. Junpei will occasionally use his persona, but at this early stage, Yukari is only using her bow.
Well isn’t that the whole theme of persona 3? That death is a natural state of life, you will live and you will die. And the faster you learn that you will die, the faster you’ll be able to live life.
Well, honestly imo, the male Persona 3 Protag/Minato/Makoto was never scared of death but just doesn't care if he dies or not since the accident on the bridge
Well the PSP couldnt take it. Im still hoping for another P3 remale to come to combine P3F and P3P together. So the female character get some nice cutscenes and gets The Answer storyline.
Ya know i just realized. The students of persona 1 were able to bring in weapons and guns (im not sure, haven't played P1, would like to eventually) into a hospital. They even brought in a fucking axe! My how times have changed.
well the hospital was filled with demons....or did they have those before the Personas...or did they just magically appear in their hands when they got personas?
that's what I thought after I posted that earlier but I wasn't sure really. Especialy because it's been awhile since i've played P1. Its just weird because I remember some of the characters in P1 having weapons to start with and some didn't and that was never explained
Dude but P5MC loses his glasses in the Palaces so we all know he has no idea what the fuck is going on, he's just attacking every unnatural blob he sees.
Defril Prihadyansyah I don't think we're ever told that they're fake. However, the inventory does list them as "trendy glasses", so take that as you will.
P1 and P2 : Fights some enemies (Gets Persona) P3 : Bang. (Gets Persona) P4 : Says "Persona" ( Gets Persona ) P5 : Gets a mask, rips it off his face while blood pours out of his face, got fully caught on fire, then got chained with the persona while it is coming out of him. God the difference is real. (Edit : Wow, so much likes lol thanks)
Mega Hyper Gaming you are wrong P2 character awaken their persona by burning their sister in the japanese shrine wearing power rangers mask its from the flash backs of the game
Mega Hyper Gaming P1 and P2 got their personas because they played the "Persona Game" hence why they are also all wild cards and everyone can enter the velvet room due to Philemon personally gave it to them
Kotori-nyan nope if they are wild cards they all should be fool arcana lol Philimon is just powerful back then that he can make persona users summon multiple persona
Nameless Protagonist The reason why the protagonist starts as the "Fool" arcana is because the Fool symbolizes "beginning". P3 onwards used the tarot arcanas as a plot element such as "Magician" arcana serves as the tool/push for The Fool to embark his journey and fulfill his destiny. Please don't state others as wrong since you're actually the wrong one here, they trapped Maya in the shrine so she won't leave but Tatsuya Sudou decided to burn it. The very definition of the Wild Card is that the user can wield multiple personas. Not because it is the Fool Arcana. You should try reading into the tarot meanings way deeper
P1EP345: The protag is in a life or death situation and summons their Persona to help save themselves and their friends and save the world. Shows the beginning of change to the characters. P2IS: Everyone gets a Persona because they insulted someone by calling the Undie Boss. ... I love P2IS.
Persona 5's scene certainly LOOKS the best but just doesn't hold the same intensity as Persona 3's awakening. I think it has to do with the music used in P3's scene coupled with the imagery of Thanatos breaking out of Orpheus that just makes it feel more powerful.
Gonna have to disagree fam, as much as I love P3's Awakening. Willpower was a goddamn amazing track to awaken to, plus Joker's face, with the blood running down his face, followed by the grin and subsequent Awakening are utterly unmatched for me.
Guys don't worry, they brought back "Awakening your Persona by shooting yourself" at the end of Persona 5! But the only difference is, *_someone else does it for you_* :D
Reading comments about a game you haven't finished is the least thing you wanna do on youtube. But that was a month ago, you probably finished Persona 5 by now.
For P3 and P4, I love that each characters have different way of shooting (shoot at the side of head, forehead, chest...) or crushing the card (hand, kick, pistol...)
cestalia It is designed after a Venetian costume, notably inspired by the work of Casanova and by the image of Death. The borders of its hat and the scarf are used to evoke the image of Medieval Italy. Of course it looks awesome.
P5 all the way man. Just look at that menacing smile. if i remember correctly, his soul and persona were chained to hell. So those chains you saw that just broke off him? Yeah... thats him taking off the chains binding him to hell. i think.
P3 still the best for me, although P5 awakening is sick and cool, still, for me, not only you need a gun-like evoker to summon a persona in P3, the persona you summon isn't a lvl 1 persona like others protagonist awakening, you just summon a fukin lvl 64 ultimate death persona, Thanatos to fight a supposed to be first full moon boss, the magician boss shadow, so hard that you never had a chance to fight it, even in vision hall
For me P3's awakening is the best because there's literally a kid who tried to shoot himself, but instead of that obtained the weird giant thing that helps him fight weird-as-fuck creatures
If you're curious about the dialog from Eternal Punishment, here's the original English Joker: Persona, Persona- Call out your Persona! (summons a demon which attacks) Katsuya: What is... this feeling? Helios: I am Helios! Bearing the ancient sun! I am the one who violates the night. I shall become your chariot! Ulala: Kya-! I can't take it anymore! Callisto: I am Callisto....the one known as the most beautiful of the nymphs. One who is weary of romance, I shall show you true love. Maya: .......? Maia: I am thou....thou art I.I cometh from the sea of thy heart. I am the brilliant mother, Maia. Joker: That's it, keep it up! But I'm not gonna kill you just yet- I'm gonna let the demons kill you. Slowly. Remember, you can't run from fate!!! (Cut to Philemon)
Also, Ulala (as well as Elly from EP) and Katsuya share English voices with Yukiko and Teddie (original) respectively. Eikichi obviously is Kanji, as is Kei. Mark is the second Teddie, Lisa is Elly from the P1 remake; Maki is Yuzu from Devil Survivor. In case you were curious.
Personally, from what I've seen, I like both halves of 2 and 3 Portable (Female Route, especially). I haven't actually played any yet, but I've been looking to pick them up (P3P is surprisingly hard to find) :)
Damn, I'd rather grab a card than shoot myself in the head, or rip a mask off my face while spontaneously combusting into flames. P4's awakenings seem waaaaay less painful.
I kinda wish persona 6 would try something similar to this. But in this way, the protagonist is still a wild card but it uses the affinity system like in 1 and 2 where depending on their arcana the party will be locked from certain persona. But In the protagonist’s case, Thier limitation on what certain personas they can actually improve (from normal to great) depending which arcana Thier hanging out with. Basically customizing their arcana but that just me
Persona 1's Awakening Scene: 00:00 Persona 2: Innocent Sin's Awakening Scene: 01:20 Persona 2 Eternal Punishment's Awakening Scene: 03:34 Persona 3 (FES)'s Awakening Scene (Male): 05:34 Persona 3 Portable's Awakening Scene (Female): 09:00 Persona 3: The Answer's Awakening Scene: 11:33 Persona 4 (Golden)'s Awakening Scene: 13:53 Persona 5's Awakening Scene: 15:26
If you don't look bat shit crazy when summoning your persona then you're not doing it right. Only truly good summoning are done by those who have potential to reach god level harem king status.
The anime style has improved so MUCH! BUT PERSONA 5 SHOULD BE A DAMN ANIME! LIKE, DO YOU SEE THAT?! TBH, P3 and P5 awakening is best ❤️ 3 is better though. Wished in P5, he says "persona" but he was in too much pain and that was too badass 😂
3 years late... but in p3-5 these were awakenings, like they summoned personas for the first time in their life. In persona 2 everyone in the main cast had personas since childhood, so Eikichi didn't awaken to persona because he was pissed, he just summoned it to whip some ass as per usual
P3: **shoots self in head to summon persona** P4: **crushes tarot card** P5: **tears face off to summon persona** It went from 100 to 0 and back to 100 again, wtf
I mean i like the whole concept of tarot cards It prob more went something like from 100 to 20 to 90. Like ripping off a mask is cool and all but god damn shooting yourself is so frightening .
Persona 5's awakening is easily the new bar, as it should be being the newest. It is an absolutely epic awakening with great animation, awesome music, and Arsene's voice and dialogue are badass (as is he). "Am an thou, thou art I. Call upon my name, and release thy rage!" Persona 3 comes in second. Even though the animated sequence leaves much to be desired, the whole concept of shooting yourself in the head to summon your Persona is second only to ripping your face off in terms of hardcore. That and Thanatos ripping apart Orpheus and then violently killing the Shadow is pretty dark and epic. That scene is also the most the MC emotes in the entire game. Persona 4 follows with superior music to P3, better animation, and Izanagi is awesome. That being said, its relatively subdued compared to the other two awakenings.
P3's is by far the best directed of the three. P5's is the coolest in concept and in terms of the thematics that are at play (and obviously no Persona holds a candle to Arsene), but nothing about the cut itself really stands out. There's this false idea out there that good animation means fluidity of movement, but in reality not every cut needs much movement to be effective. P3's awakening is the perfect example of this, with its use of color, of precise, flashing shots, and silent suspense, building up to catharsis -- everything to give the moment suitable weight and substance, and put together an atmosphere. Individual bits and pieces in the other two might strike you as more impressive, but in terms of the composition of the scene, nothing has it beat. Everything in it comes together perfectly.
@@jacoblong6864 First, you're late. Second, it's my opinion, but I think you'd have a hard time showing how P5's opening succeeds better in the terms that I've described. Of course, I'm all ears.
My favorite is either P3's awakening or P4 the Animation's. I'm saddened that the protagonist of P5 doesn't say "Persona" like in the past 2 games, but at the same time... That awakening is REALLY good and makes sense as is.
Kuma Suna IKR?! I loved the animation but why no "Per....so...na", I get so hyped when they phrase that word like their throat is cut. Adds much more feelings but well it's still so good.
I didn't answered the OP I answered Darioxi, who first of all you can't know if he's japanese or not. And yeah I agree that the VAs are really good but I'm also saying that I like japanese VAs most of the time better than english ones. Don't get butthurt over nothing.
I"m not butthurt, just calling out a weeb. I do know he's not tho, it's called looking up. If anything you're the butthurt here for taking my reply out of context and taking a swing at me :)
tbh I'm a persona 5 fan, but Persona 3 is so cool with the "shooting in the head" concept. Although, the "bloody face from ripping the mask off" is pretty badass too. I think Persona 3's Awakening is cooler, but Persona 5's persona itself and his release into that form was cooler. What happened to Persona 4's awakening is the real question here...
Been 4 years, but crushing the tarot card was probably meant to symbolize taking control of one's own future/finding one's true self or something similar.
Late but.. he got a tarot reading by Igor before than he even arrived to Inaba. I understand that crushing the card could mean to rebel against the destiny written in the cards. Appart of that he has a low image of himself so he has no struggles accepting who he is that is the main theme of P4. His inner struggle is different to the others.
Persona 1: Played a game to get their persona. Persona 2: Burnt their "sister" alive to get their persona. Persona 3: Shot themself in the head to get their persona. Persona 4: Crush a card into pieces and get their persona. Persona 5: Ripped off superglued mask off their face and get burnt alive to get their persona.
@@dokkanbattleplayer2921 I think it is kinda hard compare the strenghts of the protags. We actually have to define what is "being stronger" first. Measuring raw personas power, maybe? Still, would like to know about how you came to your conclusion
I just love the p3 awakening more than the other because of 3 reasons: -he didn't flinch while putting the evoker on his head since he does not care if he dies -his persona went from level 3 to level 80+ (and being the very definition of death) in a few seconds, ghastly wailed the boss without putting the fear affliction on him, then went back to low level -he then proceeds to kill 2 shadows by himself with his persona that went back to being orpheus (a major greek deity) That wasn't like the other awakening, where their persona is represented as powerful, but that's all (and btw, he's the only guy in the story that is able to use 2 persona for a combo attack at the same time)
P3 is the best and P5 is the second. The reason why it's so great was because a high level Persona comes by ripping out the mouth of your initial Persona and destroying all the foes ahead.
Persona 3 has the best scene. Persona 5 has the best transformation. For Joker, just being a raw transformation of everything that defines the word "persona" really adds to it. Everything changes, his character, his attitude, personality, mentality and 'literal' spirit.
Im probably in the minority, but i love P4's awakening the most... since it basically proves hes the most accepting of who his inner self is. He doesn't have to 'force' it out... like the others do. P3 literally has to mimic killing themselves to get persona's out. And its shown that its actually really dangerous to use this method. P5 is less forced than P3... but they still have to tear their masks off by force. P4, especially the MC, just summons it with ease. XD
Well that could be true but didn't Yu get his power directly from Izanami and that's why he could summon his persona easily, that and the fact that he started out as a blank character so he really had no personal issue to overcome.
Its so ironic that P2 has the dumbest awaking scene, but has by far the best story out of all the persona games. Hell its story is even better than most mainline SMT games.
Methods of awakening to a Persona: P5: Breaking free from societies chains P4: Coming to terms with your innermost complexes P3: Acquiring a will to live in a world full of death P2EP: Being attacked by a psychotic serial killer P1: Being attacked by supernatural monsters P2IS: Getting teased by Lisa Silverman I believe we all know which had the most impact on the characters.
I love how when the majority of characters summon their personas, they whisper it like it’s some sort of sacred moment, but when Joker and his teammates cal their personas in the game they practically scream “PERSONA!!!” x3
P3 : I just want to die P4 : I need friends P5 : Lets live a normal life *gets blackmailed* ugh *stops blackmailer* let start a nor... *gets blackmailed again* Welp shit
persona 3 was obviously the best one. played persona 3,4 and just finished 5. watched gameplay of persona 1 and 2. p3 was the most thrilling and most exciting awakening ever!
Persona 2 EP is an interesting one A crazy psycipath just summoned actual demons from who the hell knows and is hell bent on killing you in a way that'll make you suffer And due to the stress, BAM, a voice calls out to you from your mind B o o m Enter your guardian angel about to save your ass from a crazy murderer: your Persona
i love how all of them from p3-p5 when they summon their persona end up with a crazed smirk on they face like they know that they gonna fuck some shit up now
I personally think that Arsene is the best (visually), the only thing i hate about him is he has some of the worst stats ever and require devoting a shit ton of time working with him to make him actually worth using
Well you could always min max him it would still be better then sataneal lol, but really doe the hardest persona to get and it aint even good? What? Ill stick with my alice and yoshinitsu
Arsene is bad? Orpheus is way worse at the start. No resists, 2 weaknesses, and only 3 skills, and a good bunch of the bosses can exploit Orpheus' weaknesses At least Bless isn't a common affinity in P5, and you can use solitary confinement for easy Resist Ice, and Arsene has technical damage to abuse through Dream Needle
Seeing as the first persona I played is still my favorite the best awaking is Persona 2 Eternal Punishment. Maya, Ulala and Katsuya are confronted by a sword wielding, bag wearing and demon summoning psychopath in a school hallway. I knew this game was going to be special at that moment. Persona 5 is my next pick just for the level of bad-ass our hero gets as his persona awakens. That jacket, mask and red glove combo with that smirk is just so damn cool.
The answer is boring af, is only grinding. All you need yo understand answer it's just everyone become inner emos cuz blue Jesus dies and he become a door
Lemme tell you why p3's protag is the strogest. HE HAS THE POWER OF THE UNIVERSE! But unfortunately his enemy is unkillable so the protagonist sacreficed his life to become the seal of their enemy. Btw the enemy is not evil it is only the harbinger of death brought by the desires of humans. So if you let p3's protag vs yaldaboath, he can easily defeat him withouth dying. P.S Don't get triggered, because that's the truth and persona is not really about the power of ones protagonist it is about the concept of each game and the impact that gives to you. (Except for p4d,p4a,p4u and maybe also p3d and p5d)
In Persona 1 and Persona 3 (including Persona 3 Portable), the summoned Persona for the protagonists will say 'Thou art I, and I am thou', while in both Persona 2 (Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment), Persona 4 and Persona 5, the summoned Persona for the protagonist will say 'I am thou, Thou art I'.
I think persona 4 is the best with Yu's awakening. I think it shows how much badass potential he has from the start compared to everyone else, being able to summon his persona from the start rather than struggle with his inner self, maybe not just cause he was given the power but rather already accepted who he was.
My favorite game is P4 but my favorite awakening in the entire series is P3 awakening, the way Orpheus transformed to Thanatos was epic. Also I love the persona summoning method in P3 and P4 because each character has their own way to summon them.
P1, P2EP, P3, P4, P5: An enemy which the protagonist cannot fight alone appears, causing their Persona to manifest for the first time and save them! A dramatic and tense scene! P2IS: "Don't! Call! Me! Undie! Boss!"
cindersinned Well to be fair, Lisa, maya, Jun, Tatsuya, and Eikichi already awakened their personas when they are still kids so technically that's his "2nd awakening"
The whole "My other self" thing makes me imagine that, in an alternate universe these badass personas are the MCs and their personas are just...like...Junpei...come to make everyone feel bad and fear for the safety of their t-r-e-a-t-s.
Is it bad that after beating P5 twice, I still prefer p4 Golden and P3 FES characters, awakenings, and story? I just couldn't get invested with any of the characters until Makoto, unlike Takeba and Mitsuru or Yosuke, Nanako, and Rise. Just as a side note, I love all the characters in both P3 and P4. Yes, the intensity of ripping one's mask is freaking epic, but I loved the evokers... don't know what that says about me, and yelling out Persona still rocks in my opinion. Plus, I absolutely love the intensity of shooting an evoker in P3 FES, I believe it's to symbolize the idea that you need to be crazy enough to try to end yourself in order to call out a persona but I could be wrong, as well as the idea of coming to terms and accepting the side of you that you aren't proud of in P4 Golden. As for story, I simply enjoyed and was invested in it more so in the previous games than P5. P5 had some great ideas for the MC and everything, but it was similar in a sense to P4 in that in P5, you find criminals, but in P4, you save innocents from the criminal. Also, I found P5 to be a little more dragging along at times.
It's a testament to the quality of the games that no two people are gonna have the same favorite across the board in any one area. 5 is my personal favorite, but I absolutely see how 3 or 4 would be someone else's.
I missed ya over at my channel! I'm starting up new projects and would love for you to stop by to give me your feedback, tell me what you like about videos or come over and chat! Hope to see ya soon!
Among all of the persona games, I prefer persona 2 the most...(not the awakening mind you) I hope they would make a remake about it. I mean, the game itself, although written in a seemingly childish way for me, it is certainly refreshing. Besides, the ending makes my heart hurt compared to the other persona games!!!! QAQ
It's really interesting to see the differences in Persona 3's different versions and how it's grown from persona 1! Even within the cutscenes for P3 (the game and animation), the diifferences are very apparent. Personally, I liked the animation's buildup a lot better, it really gave a feeling of what might be going through their head, a little preview to the backstory, so to speak, but gosh that flash of Minato shooting himself in the game was so cool.
I just love to imagine that P3MC just wanted to kill himself but ended up fighting Shadows

Mega Hyper Gaming you are wrong P2 character awaken their persona by burning their sister in the japanese shrine wearing power rangers mask
its from the flash backs of the game
Mega Hyper Gaming P1 and P2 got their personas because they played the "Persona Game" hence why they are also all wild cards and everyone can enter the velvet room due to Philemon personally gave it to them
Kotori-nyan nope if they are wild cards they all should be fool arcana lol Philimon is just powerful back then that he can make persona users summon multiple persona
Kotori-nyan also did you notice when maya became the main character she dont have Fool arcana in velvet room

You don't know many times, I wished that lol.
It would be epic.
Considering they are literally mass awakenings rather than single-person awakenings, they certainly would look pretty awesome.
like the persona 2 psp awakening
Nameless Protagonist Obviously I was asking what a remake awakening would look like.
Persona 5's scene certainly LOOKS the best but just doesn't hold the same intensity as Persona 3's awakening. I think it has to do with the music used in P3's scene coupled with the imagery of Thanatos breaking out of Orpheus that just makes it feel more powerful.
Also the fact joker didnt whisper persona. It wouldve fit so perfectly right after he ripped off his mask
I was tearing apart Thanatos in the gallows yesterday and giving his powers to Arsene. I didn’t realize it was another main character persona

It's interesting how in P1 and P2, awakening to a persona is actually a moment of weakness; in P3, P4 and P5, it's a moment of strength.
With 3, 4, and 5 the mc will at one point look freakinh insane
That badass smile
For P3 and P4, I love that each characters have different way of shooting (shoot at the side of head, forehead, chest...) or crushing the card (hand, kick, pistol...)
In p5 they also pose differently when using the mask, granted its extremely hard to see.

For me P3's awakening is the best because there's literally a kid who tried to shoot himself, but instead of that obtained the weird giant thing that helps him fight weird-as-fuck creatures
why does persona 3 require people to shoot themselves to summon persona but the others don't.

If you're curious about the dialog from Eternal Punishment, here's the original English
Joker: Persona, Persona- Call out your Persona!
(summons a demon which attacks)
Katsuya: What is... this feeling?
I was curious about that dialog to be honest lol. It's been a minute since I beaten the PS1 version.

Damn, I'd rather grab a card than shoot myself in the head, or rip a mask off my face while spontaneously combusting into flames. P4's awakenings seem waaaaay less painful.

At least it doesn't have that weird whirring sound like P2
P1 and P2, times when being a Wild Card was normal and all of your friends were capable of summoning multiple Personas.
Basically customizing their arcana but that just me
I mean it is explained why Wildcard is only 1 per person now cuz Philemon is weakened and is in a form of blue butterfly

i love how each awakening happens after a very intense or revelating moment and in p2 lisa just bullies eikichi into summoning his persona
3 years late... but in p3-5 these were awakenings, like they summoned personas for the first time in their life. In persona 2 everyone in the main cast had personas since childhood, so Eikichi didn't awaken to persona because he was pissed, he just summoned it to whip some ass as per usual

Persona 5's awakening is easily the new bar, as it should be being the newest. It is an absolutely epic awakening with great animation, awesome music, and Arsene's voice and dialogue are badass (as is he). "Am an thou, thou art I. Call upon my name, and release thy rage!"
Persona 3 comes in second.

My favorite is either P3's awakening or P4 the Animation's. I'm saddened that the protagonist of P5 doesn't say "Persona" like in the past 2 games, but at the same time... That awakening is REALLY good and makes sense as is.
I wished he said "Per-so-na!" phase too, but the tense atmosphere and the way the P5 MC summons is pretty epic! Just like a SMT game!

tbh I'm a persona 5 fan, but Persona 3 is so cool with the "shooting in the head" concept. Although, the "bloody face from ripping the mask off" is pretty badass too. I think Persona 3's Awakening is cooler, but Persona 5's persona itself and his release into that form was cooler. What happened to Persona 4's awakening is the real question here...
protag's awakening was weak, the rest were pretty much okay.
You are just an edgy kid. Cringe
It depends on MCs personality

Appart of that he has a low image of himself so he has no struggles accepting who he is that is the main theme of P4. His inner struggle is different to the others.

I just like how Orpheus is the string master but instead of using the harp strings he uses the harp to punch in the face of the shadows
I just love the p3 awakening more than the other because of 3 reasons:
-he didn't flinch while putting the evoker on his head since he does not care if he dies
-his persona went from level 3 to level 80+ (and being the very definition of death) in a few seconds, ghastly wailed the boss without putting the fear affliction on him, then went back to low level
-he then proceeds to kill 2 shadows by himself with his persona that went back to being orpheus (a major greek deity)
That wasn't like the other awakening, where their persona is represented as powerful, but that's all (and btw, he's the only guy in the story that is able to use 2 persona for a combo attack at the same time)
P3 is the best and P5 is the second. The reason why it's so great was because a high level Persona comes by ripping out the mouth of your initial Persona and destroying all the foes ahead.
Persona 2 might be hands down the best game(s) in the Persona series, but damn its awakening scene is so goofy (at least in IS)
Late comment, but man is this true as hell
16:13 Joker seeing butterfly: what the hell is that?
XD
That's a interesting way to put it lol.

Krescentwolf P5 rips of his mask to show be is breaking free form society's chains
Its so ironic that P2 has the dumbest awaking scene, but has by far the best story out of all the persona games. Hell its story is even better than most mainline SMT games.
Methods of awakening to a Persona:
P5: Breaking free from societies chains
P4: Coming to terms with your innermost complexes
P3: Acquiring a will to live in a world full of death
P2EP: Being attacked by a psychotic serial killer
P1: Being attacked by supernatural monsters
P2IS: Getting teased by Lisa Silverman
I believe we all know which had the most impact on the characters.

The P3 one always reminded me of something out of Evangelion, just the sheer brutality that Thanatos is giving out
I personally think that Arsene is the best (visually), the only thing i hate about him is he has some of the worst stats ever and require devoting a shit ton of time working with him to make him actually worth using
Well you could always min max him it would still be better then sataneal lol, but really doe the hardest persona to get and it aint even good? What? Ill stick with my alice and yoshinitsu
I used him o make a better one
Arsene is bad? Orpheus is way worse at the start. No resists, 2 weaknesses, and only 3 skills, and a good bunch of the bosses can exploit Orpheus' weaknesses
At least Bless isn't a common affinity in P5, and you can use solitary confinement for easy Resist Ice, and Arsene has technical damage to abuse through Dream Needle
P1 MC awakening looks really lit af in the manga. I hope they at least create an anime adaptation if they're not planning to remake it.
Persona 3 FES was my favorite. If you never played it before And you have Persona 3 FES don't start with The Answer, Only after The Journey

lol persona 3 protagonist is the most powerful persona user of all
markruzzel juan lol he's not
he is idiot he has the most powerful persona of them all
Lemme tell you why p3's protag is the strogest.
P.S
Don't get triggered, because that's the truth and persona is not really about the power of ones protagonist it is about the concept of each game and the impact that gives to you. (Except for p4d,p4a,p4u and maybe also p3d and p5d)
Makoto: *HAVING A PSYCHOLOGICAL BREAKDOWN*
Yu: *Chad Mode Activated*

In Persona 1 and Persona 3 (including Persona 3 Portable), the summoned Persona for the protagonists will say 'Thou art I, and I am thou', while in both Persona 2 (Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment), Persona 4 and Persona 5, the summoned Persona for the protagonist will say 'I am thou, Thou art I'.
Persona 3 summoning is one of the coolest things in gaming history.
I think persona 4 is the best with Yu's awakening. I think it shows how much badass potential he has from the start compared to everyone else, being able to summon his persona from the start rather than struggle with his inner self, maybe not just cause he was given the power but rather already accepted who he was.
Yes i agree . Especially with the glare in his glasses and the way he screams it
Be careful a lot of p3 fans bitch too much and downplay the other ps
No I think its just because they represent the parts of you you hide from others?
Jonathan Kim Yosuke yessss-
It's a testament to the quality of the games that no two people are gonna have the same favorite across the board in any one area. 5 is my personal favorite, but I absolutely see how 3 or 4 would be someone else's.
0:42 STAR PLATINUM
The Revelations dub renamed it Starion...
I didn't even notice
P5>P3>P4>P1>P2
Nicholas R persona 2 has better story and it has Hitler! and nazi
Nameless Protagonist how dare you to talk about hitler
I missed ya over at my channel! I'm starting up new projects and would love for you to stop by to give me your feedback, tell me what you like about videos or come over and chat! Hope to see ya soon!
Because the game actually has Hitler in it, you can go look it up- (shakes head) it ain't a joke either.
BuT WHY MUST YOU CHOOSE THE TOPIC TO BE HITLER AND NAZISSS
P3 and P5 are the best.
If the protagonist in P5 said "persona" right around where blood was in his eyes tht would have just madee my day but regardless it still good overall
I personally thought it was perfect bc Ryuji just sat there like “wtf”
He didn't say it bacause he didn't know what a persona was back then
He learned what I t was after Mona told him
@@tsukisasu4425 yea i know
just thought it would have been cool if they did regardless
@@genesisrussel5935 I'm surprised u replied after all this time
I'd say that none of the persona awakenings really tickled my fancy as much as the P3 movie's. It just did everything sooooo right.
That Joker from the beginning... It's very creepy, and it is similar to the P5 one...
Oh...
We live in a society
The Evoker and Mask rip summoning method carry the most weight behind it for sure
KYS or SelfHarm
Very symbolic...
P5's is better in-game, but by concept, it's tied with P3 for me. If P3 had a beeter animating sequence though.
