These are some of the best jump starter jump packs out there, they're easy to use and easy to move around. Let me help you make the right decision for you! Use code SNOW10 at checkout to get an additional 10% off!
    I keep my jump surge 1200 in my car and I've used it many times to jump cars with dead batteries. These little guys are great to have no matter which one you choose. It's also great to use as a power bank for your mobile electronics with it's on board USB cables

      Definitely! I'm finding the small one has started nearly everything I've put it on. I've found I've used it to help others more than I use it to start my own stuff.

    Thanks very much as Ive just learnt the hard way. £200 for a new stop start battery in a car that doesnt have stop start because my options were stuffed. At least I was in a Halfords car park but its a sickening feeling knowing I had drained a low winter battery by running the radio and fan whike changing a wiper blade.... I will now have a topdon 1200 in the car at all times because people like you have recommended it Cheers!

      It's a good little insurance policy! I use mine to help others way more than I've used it to jump my own stuff.

    Wow very cool i have a big jump starter but takes to much space in my truck but was thinking of getting a smaller one jump pack for my chevy tahoe V8 to start it incase it turns off one day.. which one do u recommend?

      I have a 1200 and it does the job, but because they tend to sit in the car and get forgotten about, I'd get the 2000 or 2200 with a bit more capacity. They seem to hold their charge, but like anything battery, they will go down over time. Check my bio for a link to the Topdon Jump Packs and make sure you use my code SNOW10 at checkout for an additional discount.

    How long does a full charge last for

    • @SnowFamilyRacing
      @SnowFamilyRacing  5 місяців тому

      I've jumped 3 cars on one charge and it still showed it could keep going. I charged it at that point, mostly because i was done for the day. It'll charge several phones or tablets and before you even need to think about charging it.

    The question is what is the life ecpectancy of the jump box

    • @SnowFamilyRacing
      @SnowFamilyRacing  7 місяців тому

      After a year of around the house use, it's working fine. I expect it to last at least as long as any other jump pack.

    why should we even need these.

    • @SnowFamilyRacing
      @SnowFamilyRacing  10 місяців тому +3

      Because batteries fail and people can leave accessories on. They're great to have in case you need one or to help someone else who needs a hand.

      @@SnowFamilyRacing i mean why, in vehicles with heated seats and 5 varieties of cup-holder, and 1200 channel digital radios, do we have to find a separate product from a separate store.
      Build it in. Build a back-up system. Or even include one in the glove-box, from the same company that manufactured the car.
      Its like getting fast food but then stopping off to pick up some ketchup from the supermarket.

    • @SnowFamilyRacing

      For the same reason that there are new cars that don't have a spare tire. OE's look to cut costs at every turn, this would not represent a cost savings for them. Not everyone would know what to do with it, and not everyone would opt for an option like that. With these getting smaller and costing less, it's getting easier to have one for emergencies. I drive older stuff and go places that may be off the beaten path. These are nice to have camping or at a race track where things happen. I'll carry one on my ATV because they don't have the best charging systems. There's plenty of reasons that these are a good thing to have.

      Would the small one start up a 5.3 v8

    • @SnowFamilyRacing
      @SnowFamilyRacing  9 місяців тому +1

      @Venom-qz5bv Absolutely! I've got a 5.3 in my Yukon, and it'll turn it over quite nicely. I've jumped as big as an older 454" big block with it. It'll also turn over the 383" small block in my El Camino drag car.

    Will this legit jump off a car or truck with a dead battery? No need to ask for a jump any more?

    • @SnowFamilyRacing
      @SnowFamilyRacing  9 місяців тому +3

      Yes, I've started a 454" big block Chevy in a '84 C30. I've jumped my El Camino with its 383" small block. I've jumped my 5.3 powered Yukon after I ran the battery down at the drive-in movies. I have not jumped my Duramax with it, mostly because I've never needed to. For anything gas, I've had no trouble jumping them with it. I use this jump pack to help people way more often than I need it for my own cars.
      Check out my website where I've got links and a discount code to this.
