Wolf Sings Was that a derogatory comment or a pat on the back -- "This Guy Is Such a Stroke". To me, it sounds like you're saying he sucks and he's lazy ? If it's a pat on the back, then I apologize, never heard that one before ?
I can't tell you how sad it makes me to watch a real rock band play in a real era, with real fans, having real fun, playing real instruments, with real talent, and real emotion, with no backing tracks and zero fucking phones. These days are gone, will never return.
I will never get over how much of a killer frontman Weiland was. Seriously that man was fire on the stage. Watching him perform is hypnotic. Top 10 of all time material.
One of the best live shows I've ever seen....and during this era I took all of these bands for granted because it never crossed my mind that it would ever end.
My Ma warned me about this. She missed out on seeing the Doors and Janis Joplin. It always bugged her. I took the warning and went to every show I could afford.
Seen them at Val-Du Lakes in Michigan in 1993. Only song I knew was Plush. I didn't even know what they looked like. I didn't have cable or MTV. 49 years old now. Where the hell did the time go?!?
@86Bonneville75 I know, right!! I saw Disturbed the same way with knowing only one or two songs....but that was how our generation rolled. We went to live shows because they were so much fun!
Crackerman is such a killer opener and Scott Weiland absolutely owns the stage. The whole band is killing it here. I like this version over the album version, and that's how live music should be. Core was a really great album.
When I saw them on Family Values Tour back in 2000 ish, the lights went down and they piped in "Wet My Bed" so you could just hear it over the crowd and then ripped into "Crackerman". ❤
Scott was so damn talented, so alive on stage, and so dead behind closed doors...if only he loved himself half as much as his family (first) and fans. What a great loss.
You all prolly dont give a damn but does anybody know of a way to get back into an Instagram account? I was dumb lost my password. I would love any help you can offer me!
@crystalrothwell8860 Pretty much. Jim Morrison is prob #1. But I'm 47, and STP was my era. I saw Stone Temple Pilots 8 times fr 1994-2010. NEVER would I see STP w/o Scott
Perfect band; -Power of Zeppelin -Short concise songs like Ramones -Great melodies like The Beatles -Lyrics of truth like Velvet Underground -Hypnotic frontman like Iggy Yet they’re ALL their own style and way...
@@Bombastic-ahhh yeah man i’ve honestly tried Pearl Jam many times and to me they’re alright at best. the guitar on their tracks is great but as musicians they’re eh. Meanwhile STP was firing on all cylinders nearly every release. One of the most consistent bands ever.
@@robertsaunders3059 Yeah, kinda sucks they got lumped in with that Seattle grunge scene. As we’ve discovered a couple albums in, STP were their own everything.
This band is one of the best ever live performances, I've seen them several times & they never disappoint!! Weiland was awesome with Velvet Revolver too, great performer!!
One of the very few front men that sounds as good live as they do in the studio! RIP Scott! STP is my favorite band of all time, glad I grew up in this era of great music.
It's a shame he couldn't kick the habit. He is missed. He was a fantastic entertainer and one of the greatest front men of all time for one of the most under rated bands of all time and here singing one of the most under rated songs of all time. Crackerman is one of my favorite STP songs and it never got the recognition it deserved.
Thank you for posting this! What a great lesson for the younger generation in how to deliver live. When Weiland was dialed in, STP was just unstoppable.
Stone Temple Pilots my absolute favorite grunge band . I love all the others R.I.P Scott Weiland R.I.P Chris Cornell. STP my shit. R.I.P Kurt Cobain. R.I.P Andrew Wood. Mother Love Bone also my shit.
Dear God please play this at my funeral!!! The guitar parts are unreal. The bass is a ladder. And the drums chop broccoli. And then there's Scott. I am so thankful that I saw them live in their prime!
Scott Weiland is a Icon ,such a loss ,vocally was god for his dramatic and ever changing tones.R.I.P. Scott....still miss how much a perfect performaner that is full of pure talent. I
Definitely on top of their game here....I am still pissed at Scott, his death was hard on me....of all the lead singers that we lost Scott was definitely head and shoulders above the rest!!
I'll never forget the female DJ on a rock station after hearing Vaseline for the first time, "That's the coolest thing I ever f*cking heard" is what she said on air.
First concert i ever went too. The guy ran it!!! He absolutely loved his wife and daughter. And dogs and fish and pretty much everything Sometimes people cant understand brilliant people. Rip Scott
Where the hell is the rest of this show! That performance NEEDS to be available. Scott was simply the best, and the musicians that back him up are top of their game as well.

That’s makes him 3rd best. Robert Plant owns this title.
Definitely in the top five
Anyone still listening in 2024? Real rock...the crazy days when we got lost in the vibe...so good.
November 8th 2024 - still f'n jamming !!

They don't make the right emojis to match this level of stimulation
Never left 🔥
Legendary performance, legendary band, and certainly a true loss.
Okay it wasn't clear to me at the time, but with the clarity of looking back a couple of decades later, this is the BEST band of the 1990s!
I took my wife to see Stone Temple Pilots in Marysville California in 1999, best concert ever. OSH :-)
One of the best bands in the last 40 years, one of the best front men of all times. We're going to miss him.
You're absolutely insane... This guy is such a stroke.

+Kent Mains i prefer liam gallagher as a front man, but scott is my second, he was big lost for me :(
+Nicolas Hinostroza Scott W and Layne Staley were my top few
So fortunate I got to see them right out of high school. Great time to be alive and young.
I can't tell you how sad it makes me to watch a real rock band play in a real era, with real fans, having real fun, playing real instruments, with real talent, and real emotion, with no backing tracks and zero fucking phones. These days are gone, will never return.
i always say i was sad to be born in 99, wish i was born 12 or 13 years earlier. hope you are well friend
Right?! Taylor swift doesn’t even write half her songs 😂
Bruh grow up lmao it’s still like that.
Never say never friend 🤘🏾
There are still some great metal bands doing the same, but unfortunately not so much with hard rock.
I will never get over how much of a killer frontman Weiland was. Seriously that man was fire on the stage. Watching him perform is hypnotic. Top 10 of all time material.
you're goddamn right !!!!!!
I was just thinking the same thing. . He looks so healthy back then.

check out STP Rolling rock town fair video
Best two concerts of my life.
Sings live like in a studio. That's top notch stuff right there.
Not, he doesn't. 99 onwards is the downhill of his voice. Crackerman live in the Windy City is muuuuuch better
This sound will never die, RIP Scott
Stone temple pilots. Great band. Scott a totally kickass frontman of any band.
Crackerman is such a killer opener and Scott Weiland absolutely owns the stage. The whole band is killing it here. I like this version over the album version, and that's how live music should be. Core was a really great album.

I'd like to know how Crackerman didn't make it as a hit. It's one of the best tracks on Core.
Jacob Maguire i would have to agree
Just didn't get released as a single
Agree is very heavy song
First thought as soon as it started. It’s not on the greatest hits record, that and Still Remains make their Greatest Hits CD slightly incomplete.
In my circle of life it was a huge hit, Maybe you were listening to much Britney????
The crack of that snare at the beginning....
Best opening number EVER.
John Coltrain 100% agreed
You are soooooo right. I saw them open this way twice in 2000.
