- The Great White Terror of Jaws is back! Only this time you're riding a boat through the water where he's lurking just around the corner. This is a full ride-through of the ride at Universal Studios at Universal Orlando.
This ride closed on Jan. 2, 2012.

This was an awesome ride; I was terrified riding it because I was like 9, but still fond memories!
I got to ride Jaws its last year...LOVED IT. One of the beeeeest ride. I wish I had this tour guide, he was so interactive! Now there's a man who loooooved his job!
one of my friends works on this ride and he's my favorite skipper! i'll miss this ride. :(

The skippers never got enough credit
Why did they have to close this ride? It's popular and internationally famous, the detailed put into this ride is as good, if not better, than most Disney rides, and it's probably more expensive to gut this and create a whole new attraction.

I really wanted to ride this when we went but as we were walking over it started raining and thundering so they closed all the outdoor rides. :(

This ride is actually pretty scary at night around the HHN time of year haha.
I think they made some small changes(outfit, some dialogue) but nothing too big to notice.

@rockingbeaver19 it's not a dent, rather it's the latex skin of the shark rippling because of an air pocket that forms in-between the skin and the body of that shark.
my grandpa got real scared when the shark jumped out right at him

Okay... the one thing that doesn't really add up...Police chief Martin Brody is dead, in the fourth and final Jaws film, his widow "Ellen Brody" in a grief stricken panic rage said to their oldest and (now only) son (referring to the shark) and I quote... "It picked out Sean. It killed your father." (Michael) "Dad died from a heart attack." (Ellen) "He died from fear. The fear of it killed him."... I think the ride lacks thrilling emmotions, maybe if the sharks look more real...I am somehow dissapointed with this video, I thought the ride was amazing.
